I’ve spent the last two hours scouring the internet, just trying to find some kind of answer on how to deal with pinworms during pregnancy. It turns out that Albenza, which is what they usually give kids, isn't something pregnant women are supposed to touch. My little one brought home some Crviche from daycare, and both he and his brother already took a dose of Albenza, but then a few days later, I realized I’ve been infected too. I’m feeling quite lost. Does anyone here have any solid advice? I’m currently 32 weeks along. 😕
So, what did the doctor end up saying?
I had the exact same experience. After about three months of just handling things manually... it was pure agony. I wasn't applying any ointments or anything, just showering daily and using wet wipes after using the restroom... goodness, just thinking about it again makes me break out in a cold sweat!😂
Did you honestly believe people wouldn't start treating you like some kind of walking punchline?

In first grade, kids learning a second language should really just be doing picture dictations... you know, where the teacher says a word and the children just draw it on their paper.
What is this about black ink and spelling words???
Are you absolutely certain they mean actual writing? Because that seems completely nonsensical to me.
Over the last three years, I’ve been through so many checkups, procedures, and various medical appointments that honestly, just heading to the OB-GYN has become part of my routine, like saying "good morning" to a neighbor. I don't feel any shame about it anymore. And that initial wave of anxiety? It really does fade away pretty quickly after you've been through a few visits.
It’s honestly hard to wrap my head around the kind of people out there. I find myself sitting here, wondering if I'll even be able to have children one day—if everything will just turn out okay—while she acts this way toward such a miracle of life. I actually went back and looked through her other posts, just trying to see if she was even remotely sane. Based on what she's written, she's still pregnant and either getting married or already is. Honestly, I feel bad for her now.
Honey, you can see there are other ways to handle things. You really overreacted with how you acted. I truly hope that whatever you did doesn't end up having any lasting consequences for your child.

I mean, honestly... why even bother getting circumcised? 😬
Just ignore those mindless statistics from the CDC, talking about how there's a lower incidence of cervical cancer in women whose partners are circumcised, or how it lowers penile cancer rates among men... that stuff happens to other people, doesn't it? 😉
Well, thanks for enlightening me. My doctor was asking if my partner was circumcised—since I'm dealing with HPV and CIN issues—and it really made me wonder 😕 what the connection actually is.

I actually spotted some at a CVS once, though you should be able to pick it up at any local pharmacy too.

I'm not sure I follow... what part is confusing you?
Something involving M?

I believe you can actually pick some up at a local pharmacy without needing a prescription
placidnomad50 said:So, you mean like using Deep Heat or something similar for a little while?
Well, essentially yes, though personally, I found relief for about half an hour before the pain just came right back. Nothing really seemed to touch it until I finally saw my doctor and they prescribed some muscle relaxers. It’s possible you might have a pinched nerve, and if that's the case, nothing is going to help much besides seeing a professional.

Back when I was dealing with some sudden back issues, using those Polar Ice packs actually gave me some short-term relief. It helped quite a bit at the time. But, if you're in significant pain, honestly, it might be wiser to just stop what you're doing entirely. You wouldn't want to risk making the injury even worse than it already is.
Hannah Castillo3 said:Andrew Clark8, I was actually in that exact same surgery at the Mayo Clinic nearly two years ago, and honestly, everything went flawlessly. Dr. Sindik performed the procedure perfectly, and I haven’t had a single issue with my cervix since... though God willing, I never will again. You go under general anesthesia, and before you know it, about twenty minutes later, the whole thing is over. The nurses are incredibly kind; they'll help move you straight to a recovery bed. You’re going to feel incredibly bloated—it's enough to drive you crazy—and yes, there is pain, but that's expected. The absolute most critical part, however, is the recovery period. You have to follow your doctor's orders to the letter regarding rest. Because the area is naturally moist and warm, healing is a slow process. You cannot push yourself; if you strain, you risk the stitches tearing or causing bleeding. If there's anything else you need to know, just ask...
Best,
Thank you for the response. However, I have already started seeing Dr. Ljubojevića in New York, and I am quite pleased with his bedside manner and how he treats his patients. From what I can gather, his other patients seem just as satisfied as I am. I think I will stick with him for all my future appointments. Best!
So, my doctor mentioned something to me the other day—it was quite a sobering conversation, actually. They explained that if I’ve tested positive for this, there is a very high probability that my boyfriend has it too. It really makes you stop and think about the whole "why bother" aspect of protection. I mean, what is the point of recommending condoms if you're just going to pass it back and forth anyway? It becomes this endless game of ping-pong where you're essentially just cycling the infection between the two of you because you aren't being careful. It's a bit unsettling, honestly. If you want more technical details on the stages, you should probably check out the subforum regarding CIN I, CIN II, CIN III, and HPV
I was wondering if any of you all have ever undergone an LLETZ procedure at the Mayo Clinic, and if so, what was your experience like? Honestly, I’m feeling a bit anxious about it, so any advice or insight you could share would be worth its weight in gold to me.
Hmm... ever since I first started browsing the threads on this forum, I’ve realized just how much I can actually relate to so many people here. It seems everyone is dealing with one issue or another—this problem, that ailment, or some third thing entirely... I find myself wondering, does that make me a hypochondriac? I don't believe so, though. My own health concerns aren't just in my head; everything I've experienced has been backed up by actual medical science and clinical data. Still, I can't help but wonder if we've simply entered an era where we're all somehow destined to face these endless medical struggles.
I would truly value hearing—well, reading—your thoughts on this.

I want to offer my sincere condolences too; honestly, it's hard to find the right words. I'm sending you a warm hug 😘
I’ve been staying with my dad for the last few days, and it really is heartbreaking to see him fading away. But he isn't giving up 👍 his strength and his will to live actually reminded me of something today while I was waiting for the train... while I was standing there at the station, I noticed a tomato plant growing right on the tracks—and it had two big, green tomatoes on it 😍 I have no idea how they managed to survive and grow in a place like that. Just pure will to live.😛.
Anyway, your friend here found a remedy for cancer in folk medicine, and I’m going to prepare it for my dad (we really don't have anything left to lose right now).
Here is the recipe and a link regarding people who found this remedy effective:
300 grams of fresh aloe vera cactus leaves (the plant should be 3-5 years old)
7 dl of guaranteed pure black wine from unsprayed grapes
5 dl of pure 96% alcohol
400 grams of fresh spring flower honey from the comb
50 grams of chicory (like the kind you might find at a local farmers market)
Preparation: Grind the aloe vera leaves using a meat grinder, chop the honeycomb honey very finely and mix it with the cactus, then put everything into a glass carboy along with the dried chicory and the other ingredients. Give it a good shake and store it in a cool, dark place. It's best to shake the mixture every day.
After five days, strain a small amount (enough for the next 5 days of use), leaving the rest in the carboy. Or, you can let everything sit for two weeks before straining it all at once. Keep the remedy in a cool place.
Usage: For the first five days, take one teaspoon three times a day, exactly two hours before meals. After those five days, take one tablespoon three times a day, exactly one hour before meals, and continue this until the supply is gone.
This remedy treats: Pulmonary tuberculosis, stomach ulcers, internal inflammation, ulcer-related diseases. It is also used for the flu, tonsillitis (clearing it in 1-2 days), chronic illnesses that persist for years, cardiac asthma, pulmonary asthma, leukemia, persistent headaches, vasculitis, heart issues, kidney issues, female reproductive ailments, cancer, thrombosis, prostate issues, diabetes, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, epilepsy, AIDS, amoebiasis, infertility, allergies, cystic diseases, various skin conditions, and impotence.
The treatment course lasts for two months out of the year. You shouldn't reuse the remedy until a full year has passed.
IMPORTANT: Once the remedy is taken, you must not rinse with water, nor can you consume any liquids or even a crumb of food for two hours afterward. The same applies when the interval is reduced to one hour, so the remedy can work its own magic on even the most severe illnesses. Always shake the bottle well before each use. Make sure to wash the cactus leaves before grinding them.
Sending my love to you all.😘
I have just one more question... does anyone happen to know what the best thing to feed a patient would be in cases involving cancer or liver metastases? My dad can still manage a few spoonfuls of soup here and there, though I was thinking of giving him some steamed broccoli broth with a little salt. What else should we try to give him to eat? Honestly, right now, he seems to only tolerate water.👎
I really don't have the time to scroll through endless pages, so I was wondering if you could tell me
where I might actually go to buy or find all of these ingredients.
Plenty of exercise, eating regular meals, having snacks in between them. But honestly, that advice just didn't do much for me. They even suggested I spend a whole month eating nothing but my favorite things—tons of mayo, pasta, fried food, chips, you name it. Even then, I saw zero results. It really all comes down to why you actually need to gain weight and what the underlying reason for being thin is in the first place.
