Hate speech and religious intolerance on the Religion forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Amy Doyle81 said:And who exactly is claiming she was locked out for that reason?🤦 I am not twisting your words to suit my own agenda—I am literally just repeating exactly what you wrote.🤦 Right here.

I’m asking everyone to really think about this: why is there such a fear of Muslims and Islam as a religion? If you’re going to make claims, please explain them properly—provide actual arguments, present evidence, or at least tell us where you're getting your information regarding the horror stories being circulated here.

Look, anyone can be afraid of anything—including a specific religion—and the fact that these fears exist is undeniable.
But no one gets a free pass to justify those fears by publicly peddling unproven, baseless anecdotes.
You are intentionally misinterpreting my point to fit your narrative—complaining about a Muslim user's post as if it were intolerance or hate speech, while simultaneously expressing the exact same sentiment in your own post, only in a much more extreme way...
Then, you only look back at other people's posts after the fact, trying to paint the moderator as an Islamophobe just to validate your own prejudice.
In my opinion, your complaint—the way you’ve framed it—is completely unjustified regarding Tamia's post.

PS: Please read my posts in their entirety before quoting snippets.

The moderator just locked the thread—classic move. Now they’re issuing warnings to everyone, basically telling us that if we want to back up our claims, we better bring some actual evidence to the table.
kaže:
Against Islam.😕 And that’s her issue—she’s taking offense at nothing. These are just opinions that don't insult anyone, and they actually answer the question asked in the title. Instead of engaging with the topic, she's pivoting toward this nonsense about intolerance toward other religions. Why can't we just stick to the point?

I don't know about you all, but I find this whole line of reasoning absolutely exhausting—honestly, it’s bordering on the absurd. Are we really going to sit here and pretend that these arguments hold any weight at all? It’s pure nonsense. Look, I’ve heard people like wiredangler5 try to spin this a dozen different ways, but let’s be real: it doesn't change the fundamental facts of the situation. You can dress it up with fancy rhetoric all you want, but the core issue remains exactly what it was from the start. Why do we keep circling back to these same tired justifications? And then you have people like Chris Peterson53 coming in with these completely disconnected perspectives—it’s like they aren't even reading the same thread! It’s frustrating, frankly. We need to stop dancing around the truth and actually address the reality of what's happening right in front of us. If we can't have a serious conversation without these constant diversions, then what's the point of even having this discussion?

Don't go twisting my words to fit your own narrative.

The thread isn't locked because of your appeal—it’s being locked because I saw exactly what was going on in here while I was away.
It looks like the moderators aren't exactly sleeping on the job around here, are they?

Funny how you decided to report that specific post while completely ignoring all the others, isn't it?

And here is your own post from the exact same thread:

How would you rate your own comment?

Listen, lady—I don't cultivate those kinds of "good intentions." 🙂 It’s nothing more than your own imagination,

No, seriously—look, 😂 the topics in this PDF aren't your private property nor does anyone "colleague" own them, though you seem to act like they do. 😍

So, my good little angel, does that mean I don't need to worry about walking through the cathedral...

Chris Peterson53, stop playing detective. I wrote my comment and hit
send—exactly what I wrote and exactly how I read your post.
Of course I wasn't claiming anything was missing; I wasn't even looking for it. In your
second post, you accused me of twisting your words and content
just to suit my own narrative.
After that accusation, I went back to the book complaint
to reread your post and see exactly what I was supposedly "missing." Since you called me out for "omitting words,"
that's when I finally saw what we're actually debating. There are words missing from your post. Or am I just imagining things?

It didn't happen three days later; it happened right after your second post here. That’s exactly what I
wrote. I couldn't respond then because I was banned immediately afterward.
Is that clear enough? Especially with the added comment on the book complaint from your colleague rowdyhawk10.

My days are empty and filled with sorrow without your posts. ;rofl:

🙂

Well, look at you, still weeping!
You *did* respond to my post (check thread 8), so go ahead—look at your own post (thread 10) where you ended with "...no comment" regarding the previous one!
Factually speaking, this was all before you were banned!
And then, three days later, you suddenly "discover" new facts and "missing parts" of my post...🤣
Do you ever actually bother to review what you've written?
Are you forgetting?
Or does staying chronologically accurate not matter to you—since, in your little crusade, actual facts are apparently irrelevant?
And I can see it bothers you that we even bother responding to your accusations (not your repetitive claims of "insults," since those are clearly baseless).
Clearly, it suits you better if we don't engage (and by "the duo in the canoe," I mean the two of us whom you incessantly harass—you can't seem to mention one of us without mentioning both, which is why I'm using the plural...), so you can continue maintaining this image of yourself as the infinitely "persecuted forum user." 😉

When you run out of real facts, you resort to repeating the same nonsense you've already blathered about in countless posts, circling back to the administration—identifying yourself with this organization that you claim is untouchable and that any critic is simply "smearing."

Just go, for God's sake, and enter the new year with a Christian spirit: love, peace, and tolerance!

And you do owe me an apology!🙂

Susan Brooks83 said:I’m not lying. As a Catholic, I make it a point to steer clear of sin—and lying? That’s just not who I am. ☕
Everything written here is my official objection to your post—specifically regarding those sections you conveniently left out that I already mentioned.
I remember them writing quite clearly—it’s etched in my mind. And as for me, I’ve got long legs, thank God. 😁 Look, Chris Peterson53, this isn't an accusation—it’s just the facts. I'm looking for actual, substantive answers here, not your constant attempts to drag me into some debate about banning people.
Why on earth should I apologize to you? 🤷 My intentions are pure—plain and simple—and I mean exactly what I wrote.

Look, as a moderator, I have the authority to edit text—or whatever else falls under my jurisdiction. I know how this works, don't I?
You missed a sentence in your second post. Are you actually obsessed? Why on earth did I even bother posting this here?
I’m filing a formal book complaint. Furthermore, you had the nerve to sit there and "explain" my supposed obsession in your text. 🙄 Look, this is a blatant insult—one that you haven't even been sanctioned for—yet you just keep going, dragging my name through the mud by accusing me of lying. Is that how we're playing this? ☕

It seems like you might have cut off your message mid-sentence! What were you trying to say? I'm ready when you are—just lay it out for me. Are you seriously making a public demand? So, what am I supposed to do here—offer up an apology and take a penalty? 😁 Are you even in a position to be talking? To demand. No, I won't.
You can't even handle an admin? Please. To demand.I’m going to ask you to come back down to earth for a second and actually look at this from a realistic perspective.
I’m asking everyone to mind their own business when it comes to my posts—keep your opinions to yourselves—but I am officially calling on the admins to step in. I need them to address the outright accusations and insults being thrown my way by the moderator Chris Peterson53. Look, you don't have to agree with what I write—honestly, nobody does—but there really needs to be a baseline level of decency here. Is a little bit of basic respect too much to ask?
As a moderator, you’re supposed to lead by example—not by belittling people or bullying the users on this forum. Isn't that the whole point? To demand.
I’m satisfied.

I’ve been banned for three days—all because I had the audacity to submit two entries to the Religion book complaint pdf. Seriously? Since when did expressing an opinion become a punishable offense?
And I could have just answered once. Following the forum rules. And yet, it’s being characterized as— This is a blatant violation.
The forum rules.
No, honestly, just saying it was a comment from "rowdyhawk10's colleague" tells me everything I need to know—even if nobody actually bothered to give me a real explanation.
I've been banned—that option is completely disabled for me. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue why, even after all this time.

Is this really what we're doing now—banning someone over this? I still can't wrap my head around how some people manage to be this dense—it’s actually impressive, in a tragic sort of way. Are we really still debating this? Does anyone actually believe that kind of logic holds any water in the real world? It’s just pure, unadulterated nonsense. And then you have certain users—looking at you, rowdyhawk10—who seem to think they’ve cracked the code, when in reality, they’re just shouting into the void. It’s exhausting. Seriously, does anyone else feel like we’re just spinning our wheels here? We could be having a productive conversation, but instead, we’re stuck in this loop of circular reasoning and ego. It’s honestly pathetic. If you can’t grasp the basic premise of what’s being discussed, maybe it’s time to step away from the keyboard for a bit. Just a thought.

🤔 It’s funny how quickly you jumped to respond to my post here—almost as if you were just waiting for me to finish my little "harassment" rant about you. 😁

You're going to end up in tears, Peter Stewart6!🙂
It’s perfectly clear that the server's automated entries—the ones completely out of the moderators' control—are set in stone.
It’s blindingly obvious that the post you're accusing me of editing with some "moderator magic wand" was written at 12:47 AM—and the link was added at 12:57 AM. That timestamp remains completely untouched and visible for anyone to see. After that specific entry, there isn't a single trace of any edits—because no edits happened. The server automatically logs every single person's input into a post. There is absolutely no way to sneak an edit in without the system automatically flagging the exact time of the change.
You posted your comment—your little "complaint"—at 3:37 PM. Nowhere in that text do you actually mention anything missing, nor do you point out any discrepancies found during that ten-minute window. And honestly—if you were even actually present and reading during those ten minutes—who exactly are you trying to persecute here?
Three days later, you’re suddenly "discovering" that the post was retroactively edited. You’re forcefully inventing a motive and a specific interpretation—claiming there was some insult—that simply isn't there. Nowhere.
You’re trying to imply that I, as a moderator, along with the entire moderation team here, have the power to just tweak posts whenever we feel like it. As if we actually do that!
Your claim that you aren't prone to lying because of your faith—well, looking at the facts, it points directly back to what I said in two previous posts: you are obsessed with a persecution complex regarding the moderators. At this point, you're just deceiving yourself.

As for everything else you keep repeating, and repeating, and repeating... there's honestly no point in even responding.

I said what I said, yet somehow you twisted it into whatever version suits your narrative.
Go ahead, keep writing. As long as you stay within the forum rules and don't derail threads with things that don't belong, you'll be treated exactly like everyone else. That’s how it works.
But let’s be clear: you owe me an apology. You really do!
And frankly, it would be the Christian thing to do to offer one.

Peter Stewart6 is lying through his teeth!

This is my first response to you—if you check the complaint book, my post was logged on 12/22 at 10:56 PM, and there haven't been any edits since.
My second post went up at 12/22 at 12:47 AM, followed by a link to the forum rules ten minutes later. After that, I didn't touch a single thing—because every single edit (just look at your own posts!) leaves an indelible digital footprint.

Meanwhile, you didn't even post your complaint here until 12/23 at 3:37 PM.

Because you are intentionally spreading lies and accusing me of tampering with my posts, I am publicly demanding an apology from you, as well as a penalty handed down by this thread's moderators!
Here is the link to my first post; the second one was already linked in my previous reply.http://www.reddit.com/showpost.php?p=2...&postcount=134

The server cut me off while I was pasting the link!

It’s honestly fascinating how you cherry-pick words from my response just to twist them into some new meaning that fits your own narrative.
If you were to actually list every single accusation you’ve leveled against me and moderator rowdyhawk10—and there are dozens upon dozens, both here and in those open threads on the PDF—the conclusion would be inescapable: you are time obsessed, exactly as I stated. You’re trying to spin it to make it look like I’m accusing you of some different kind of obsession, and now you’re throwing in "paranoia" (along with all your other insults and calling people idiots) which nowhere and never has been mentioned by either rowdyhawk10 or myself.

And as for these claims that you’ve never insulted us personally? You clearly have a very convenient memory... maybe it would be wise to go back and reread your own posts, especially on these boards and over in the Miscellaneous section. Remind yourself of the adjectives you used to describe my character (not my moderation, mind you) on a thread that had absolutely nothing to do with you—the same behavior that landed you that suspension from Ford, which, if I recall, you also complained about...

here
I have zero intention of engaging in any further debates with you here.
I said what needed to be said, and you’ll keep talking because you think you have to.

Regardless, as far as posting on the PDF goes, you're always welcome.
QUOTE=Goldie Hawn

Based on everything you’ve mentioned regarding your grandmother—and I mean *everything*—it sounds like she’s likely dealing with some form of progressive neurodegenerative dementia.
We can't exactly rule out Alzheimer's, either.
Look, a general practitioner isn't going to give you a reliable diagnosis here; they simply aren't equipped for this level of complexity.
And for heaven's sake, do not start giving her any medications unless they have been specifically prescribed by a specialist.
That's why I'd suggest ignoring most of the "advice" you're getting from people on this forum regarding her treatment.
But make no mistake—someone needs to step up, get her to a doctor for actual testing, and take over her care.

Wait, what even is the Book of Complaint? 🙂

The Book of Complaint—where you post all your questions, grievances, debates, or suggestions regarding moderation and the mod team—is located up there in the PDF:

It should be visible to you every single time you enter this sub-forum. It’s been sitting right there for months now...

You go there first... and if things can't be resolved there, then—and only then—do you come here.

I agree—let's just lock it. We can move on to discussing the PDF complaints once all the moderators have had a chance to weigh in on the matter at hand.
And let's not forget that not every moderator is online at the same time—considering real-world schedules and all.

That’s a complete coincidence.

You really should have submitted this question through the official PDF—you know, the formal complaint and inquiry log!
Just hold your horses for a second.
For a few specific reasons, we moderators are currently in the middle of a discussion regarding this topic.
In any case, you’ll either get an explanation shortly or the thread will be reopened.

Matt, in my opinion, this isn't even a religious topic—it belongs in the Religion subforum.
It can be analyzed from a historical, economic, or even political standpoint.
So, I'm with you—either move it on our end or just go ahead and open a new one in the right section.

I’m being serious here, and my intentions are purely good.

Thanks!

Why don't you go ahead and hand us your own personal version of those religious laws while you're at it?😁

And hey, my suggestion is also dead serious and made with the best of intentions!😉

PS
Maybe we should just bring back the Inquisition too? We could "burn" some witches, some boldsailor32 types... and maybe throw an innocent girl into the fire every now and then just for kicks.

Alex Barnes8 said:Check the appeals section. It says something completely different there. Besides, if you're claiming she insulted you, why didn't Tyndall mention insults when he issued the card? He didn't say a word about her being offensive. He explicitly stated it was because her comment was—quite frankly—unnecessary.😕
A bit strange, don't you think?

Not at all!
Look, this is the last time I’m going to attempt to explain this to you. My very first post on this thread—post #27.
Go ahead, read it.
Do you see any attack on a forum member, a moderator, or anyone specifically? No.
Before the deletion, there was post #29—her post—where, without any actual provocation other than a blatant desire to drag out a conflict that I had moved past months ago, she wrote this long-winded response filled with exactly what I described. Tyndall deleted her first post along with my reply, which should be a dead giveaway to anyone that you need to stop before you face a penalty.
But no, she keeps going, and that second unnecessary post of hers got flagged because it's pure trolling—just trying to prolong the fight. Believe me, if I had kept it up, I would have been hit too, since even moderators can get a card from the site owners or admins.

Once posts are deleted, the next posts from other users take over the numerical sequence of the removed ones; those deleted messages are only visible to the mods of this PDF and the admins.
Because on her penalized post, only my reply remains—which she had replied to—it creates this false illusion that I was the one who attacked her first...

I honestly think we've reached the limit here. If you still refuse to grasp this, there's nothing more I can do for you...🙂

Alex Barnes8 said:Fine, so Tyndall deleted her post and handed out a warning. But do you—as a moderator—actually believe that’s fair? As far as I can tell, you were the one who insulted her first, and she was simply responding to you.
And Tyndall told her the post was removed because it was unnecessary.😲 Well, what exactly qualifies as "necessary" here? 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, what is this?!

It's just a game of broken telephone at this point!

If you didn't actually see—or rather, read—her post (which was absolutely loaded with personal attacks against me and my moderation style)before mine, meaning an unprovoked attack on me or any other member of this forum, then I sent her one single response to hers...in which case, please, stop spreading inaccuracies.
Tyndall wiped out her initial post along with my brief reply, yet she just kept going...
And if this explanation still isn't enough for you, you'll have to take it up with Tyndall directly, because this whole situation is completely nonsensical.👋
