So I just picked up a new Acer Aspire with an Nvidia 3060 and an AMD processor.
I’ve been using the Nvidia GeForce Experience app to record my Gameplay, but I just noticed this weird thing where these colorful lines start flashing all over the video right in the middle of a recording, and honestly, I have no clue why it's happening.
I guess I was wondering if anyone else here has dealt with this before and actually managed to fix it?
I think I might have accidentally installed both the Game Ready drivers and the Studio drivers at once, so I ended up wiping both of them along with the Nvidia software and just started the whole installation process from scratch. Maybe those two different drivers were kind of fighting each other or something... so we'll just have to wait and see if it keeps acting up. If it still does this after everything, then I'm probably just totally stumped.
The thing is, I don't even have a router set up, so I'm just using my phone as a mobile hotspot right now. But I honestly don't get why things feel so sluggish when my upload speeds seem totally fine. It’s been a bit better over the last couple of days, I guess—it hasn't been slow all the time—but even today, the upload is working and then it just starts lagging again for no reason.
I've been uploading these 4K gaming clips lately, and man, those files are definitely not small, I guess. I haven't really heard about anyone else running into issues with their upload speeds being throttled before, maybe.
But honestly, I just tried an upload using my Verizon 4G connection and things actually seem way better now. I'm not totally sure what's going on, so I sent an email over to T-Mobile to see what they say, hopefully. It seems pretty obvious that it isn't anything with YouTube, but more likely something with T-Mobile. I even stumbled upon a similar thread on Reddit where someone was dealing with the exact same thing—just issues between YouTube and their service provider. Maybe it’s just a glitch with the local cell tower... I don't really know much about how all that works, though.
So, I was saying that my upload speed isn't really the issue, because it feels totally fine and was plenty fast enough until just the day before yesterday. But for the last couple of days, nothing will actually upload. I mean, I tried uninstalling those last two updates, but I guess that didn't really help anything. I even tried uploading a video I'd posted recently just to compare, and that one used to go up so fast, but now it’s just crawling along super slowly too. I even tried doing it from my phone, and honestly, the upload is just as slow there as well.
I'm kind of stuck on what else to try, so I was wondering if there's somewhere I can check to see if the YouTube servers are acting up, since maybe it's an issue on their end... I feel like I've pretty much exhausted all my ideas.
I've kind of noticed since yesterday that my video uploads to YouTube have been acting incredibly slow. My internet speed seems totally fine, though, so I'm honestly just confused about what's going on. Everything was working perfectly until the day before yesterday. I even tried uninstalling the last couple of Windows updates, thinking maybe that might be the issue, but no luck there. Do you think it could actually be an issue on YouTube's end? Is anyone else running into this, even if their upload speeds are normal? I even tried uploading an old video I'd posted back when everything was working right, but even that is crawling along now. It's such a pain.
So my Audiocube Bluetooth speaker just showed up today, and honestly, for $79, I can't believe how loud and clear this thing sounds; even when I crank it all the way up, it holds its own, despite the box saying it's only got a 40W max output. Not even going to get into it, but I used to have that Sony speaker, $133, and man, there's just no comparison at all to what I've got now.
Just finished watching it. I guess we might be looking at a ninth one soon, though it’s kind of a bummer that the copycat just walked away after everything that happened.
slytinker11 said:The whole movie is basically one big, mindless joke. It’s actually kind of fun if you go in with absolutely zero expectations. But man, it is way too long. That last half hour felt like total filler.
Plus, there's just constant nudity everywhere 😲, which is awkward considering how many seven or eight-year-olds end up in theaters. 😁
What are you even talking about? If anything, I wish it was even longer. The movie was awesome, super fun and everything, a solid 5/5. I honestly wish they'd start filming the series again.
Just watching this movie. I honestly thought this was going to be some kind of sequel to the second one or maybe even a prequel, but even though it’s technically the third installment, it feels pretty standalone, you know? It doesn't really seem to connect back to those first two American versions at all. The whole plot feels way more simplified, too; I guess in the first two movies, or even in those original Japanese versions, things were a lot more complicated and maybe a little harder to wrap your head around, but here everything is just super straightforward. It’s basically just your typical modern remake, nothing amazing but not bad either, I suppose. Back when this came out in 2002, it was like a total horror masterpiece and such a huge hit, it felt so fresh and intense, but since I'm not exactly a kid anymore, it doesn't really scare me nearly as much as it used to, though it's still decent. I kind of miss seeing those scenes from the well, though; it feels a little weird to me that they didn't include them in the movie at all.
I gotta admit, that was a tough watch... just a really weird kind of movie with Schwarzenegger... and now, after all that, we're basically waiting on some horror drama starring Arnold 🙂
Just finished watching it... I thought it was pretty good, I guess. The craziest part had to be when they jumped out of that plane.. one guy lands on a table while the other one ends up in a van, haha😁
I mean, how much of an idiot do you actually have to be to buy a movie ticket and then just walk out halfway through? Like, you might as well stay until the credits roll, no matter how bad it is, I guess... This flick is honestly great because most other movies lately are just filled with stuff that totally grosses me out, but this one feels different... it’s almost like a real movie shot with a hidden camera or something, which I really dig, and I can't believe they actually made the lead guy look like a legit old man...
He mentioned the transaction and order went through fine, so he said the actual transfer would happen on the first business day, which is Monday. And now he's just telling me it might be stuck waiting until Monday, I guess.
I don't know, I guess... $20 It's not a massive amount, but honestly, every dollar counts these days, you know? If anyone here happens to be a pro at online banking, maybe hit me up and I'll send over a screenshot so you can tell me what's going on like if this payment actually went through or whatever, I'm just kinda confused, is it possible you can't transfer money online over the weekend because of the holidays or something??
So, I've got a bit of a situation here. I'm trying to sell something, and this guy tells me he’s going to send the money over via online banking. He was like: "Alright, it's sent. The transfer is authorized, but I couldn't pick today or tomorrow as the date—Monday was the earliest option they gave me, probably because of the weekend," which is what he told me while he was doing the transfer.
But now he’s asking if I can just ship the item this Saturday since he needs it urgently, rather than waiting until Monday when the payment actually clears.
He sent me a screenshot of the transaction, but honestly, how am I supposed to know if it's legit?? The screenshot says: transaction completed successfully. Any advice? It’s not like a huge amount of money or anything, but I guess I'm still feeling a little nervous about it.
