Sebastian Vettel - A stellar weekend. Convincing and indisputable. Even with a massive lead, he kept pushing and hunting for the limit. He’s a real driver and a legitimate three-time champion.
Fernando Alonso - Drove brilliantly. It confirmed that Ferrari and Red Bull are on equal footing; they just need to fix their qualifying if they don't want Vettel to vanish into the distance.
Lewis Hamilton - Very good. Most importantly, he started managing his tires properly—the rest will follow naturally. Still, Mercedes-Benz is trailing quite a bit behind Red Bull Racing and Ferrari....
Mark Webber - If it weren't for Max van der Garde 🤷, he would have challenged Lewis Hamilton. Otherwise, a very solid performance.
Nico Rosberg - Much like Hamilton, he couldn't have done better given how this Mercedes-Benz compares to Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. Aside from that, he drove okay.
As for the others: Paul di Resta 🙏 Felipe Massa 🙏 Valtteri Bottas was a bit disappointing; I expected at least a single point. Such a shame. McLaren 🤦 I feel particularly bad for Kimi Räikkönen. Just too many issues in one weekend to achieve anything significant.

No, Alonso is perfectly calm because he’s the undisputed number one. Nobody on the team can even dream of outperforming him, let alone embarrassing him. Everyone there treats him like a god. To be honest, he couldn't care less about the titles—that would just be the icing on the cake for him.

Back then, he didn't have a massive following yet, but he was constantly the subject of criticism from the Alonso and Ferraria crowd, especially after he spent those seasons consistently beating both Alonso in '07 and the Ferrari 08.
Vettel 🙏 if it wasn't obvious to any sane person since Brazil last year—Seb is a phenomenal driver. A stellar race, a well-earned victory.
Lotus 🙏 and here is another bonus point for Romain 🙏 damn, jumping from 11th to 3rd... and if Kimi had just performed slightly better in qualifying, who knows? Both drove an excellent race; even better strategy.

Lewis 🙏 just as I predicted, he finished high up there. Still, Mercedes needs to work waaaay more on that car.
McLaren 🙏 although they messed up a few positions at the end, the Button-Perez duel was definitely the highlight of the race. Respect for the driving and the battles.
Nico—shame. He’s good, defended brilliantly at the start as much as he could, but the Mercedes is still a fairly limited car, especially when it comes to tire degradation.
Alonso—it was clear early on that he isn't a better driver than Vettel, but he isn't worse either. Otherwise, his drive was just—solid.
Jergović confidently asserted that Lotus/Kimi would absolutely dominate qualifying, with Alonso following right behind. Vettel was expected to be "somewhere in the mix," while The Bear needed to prove those first three races were nothing more than a fluke. 😂

I believe you've misinterpreted his statement. 😁 I believe his point was that Blackmore was the one who actually gave Dio his first real shot at proving himself. Everything after that is purely Dio's merit, but let’s be clear: the first step was taken by Blackmore when he invited him into the new band. The rest is history.
It’s a real shame he walked away from Rainbow to join Black Sabbath... Don't get me wrong, Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules are stellar albums, but they just don't reach the heights of Rising or Long Live Rock 'n' Roll After he left Black Sabbath, the whole thing just lost its spark 🙂 No more dragons, no more magic... Honestly, he should have stuck with Blackmore, regardless of how much of a difficult jerk he could be.
