You can't just shrink an Animated GIF as easily as you would a standard image—it’s a headache. Honestly, your best bet is just to hunt for a GIF that’s already within the size limits.
You can, provided enough time has actually passed. What they don't allow is spamming edits back-to-back—basically, if you're still within that initial 90-minute window where you can edit your original post, you shouldn't be hitting that button over and over.
Alright, so now I've switched over to my second computer and it’s still acting up. 😁 Honestly, I haven't a clue what the actual issue is—but I know for a fact it isn't an issue with Reddit.
You’ve got it all wrong. In , you're just dropping a direct link to an image—you actually need to find the file first and grab the specific URL address. If you're just browsing the forums on your iPhone, honestly, it’s probably easier to just upload the image directly. 😉
It’s pretty much the same deal as any other avatar you’d upload—just make sure you double-check the pixel dimensions and the file size in KB so it doesn't glitch out.
Yesterday was just a total mess—it wasn't even some actual virus or malware situation, but someone decided to drop a link to a malicious site, so we all got "banned." 🙄
Everything should be back to normal today, if you're looking for good news. 🙂
P.S. Just so we're clear, the inappropriate content was baked into the ads, not the forum itself. So, if you're using an ad blocker, you've got nothing to worry about. 🙂
You’re going to need to resize it through some kind of online tool—there are plenty of sites out there that handle that. Honestly, you'll have a much easier time just doing this kind of thing on a computer rather than messing around on a phone.
Our Microsoft team can’t actually fix stuff like this through the control panel—it’s all gotta be handed off to the hosting providers. And let’s be honest, those guys usually don't want to deal with these kinds of "minor" headaches. Let’s just hope they actually patch this thing for good this time, rather than just fixing it until the next time the clock shifts.

The admins and mods pick new people when they feel like they need more hands on deck. As for tracking whether the mods are actually doing their jobs... well, the admins supposedly keep an eye on that too. In theory, anyway.
Maybe it would help if you actually figured out how your posts are supposed to look? 🙂 Like this:
first quote
your comment on the first quote
second quote
your comment on the second quote
third quote
your comment on the third quote
Pay attention to the QUOTE tags—no slash means the start of the quote, and the slash marks the end. That means your commentary needs to go after the tag. 😉
The final result of the example above would look like this:
