I guess the whole Bolt phenomenon really comes down to the fact that he’s got those incredible sprinting genetics combined with... well, just plain long legs. If you look at him versus Tyson Gay, it's pretty clear. Tyson Gay is an amazing sprinter, but he just doesn't have that height or those massive strides that Bolt has... I honestly think that might be where that 0.13 difference comes from.☕
It’s honestly pretty wild. I really, truly hope the kid isn't on anything... For years, everyone kept saying that running sub-9.8 was basically science fiction and that nobody could actually hit those times..
That movie absolutely crushed it in Austria, breaking all kinds of viewership records. It actually became the most successful film ever released in theaters there, even outperforming several major Hollywood blockbusters.
I guess even in Austria, people really do show up to support their local cinema.

That puts them right up there with the big dogs—only New York City ($55 billion) and Tokyo ($50 billion) have bigger budgets now. http://en.rian.ru/video/20080327/102399075.html Photos: http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_city
That’s great and all, but I guess what does that even matter when pretty much the rest of Russia, outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, is a total mess?

I guess I wonder, do Americans from Canada get just as excited when an athlete from there wins big?

Yeah! Maybe you guys will catch up to us one day.👍
Kyle Morris7 said:Just a quick question here. Why does everyone—or most countries, anyway—agree to play matches almost every single day? And why would the European handball governing body even organize a championship this way? I mean, this isn't a marathon or a cycling race where we’re just testing who can endure the most; we shouldn't be playing such intense games back-to-back. I honestly think the winner is often just whoever has the deepest bench of decent players or simply fewer injuries, rather than the actual best team. Is our national federation even saying anything about this?
That's a really great question.
I guess it probably comes down to the money. There’s obviously way less cash flowing through handball compared to something like soccer, where the European Championship with 16 teams lasts for ages. It seems like there was some kind of consensus reached that this is how handball should work, mostly because it keeps hosting costs down for the host nation.
I guess it’s just how you Americans are—you seem bothered by the fact that in Canada, people of all backgrounds, whether they're Canadian, Mexican, American, Canadian, or Albanian, actually get along just fine. You have an issue with folks like Elvira Zahirovic and Alena in Canada... well, maybe you should!
You all know exactly who you are, honestly. The chauvinism is pretty obvious. I mean, you even stripped a title from one American athlete just because she was a Canadian woman. To you, Mexicans are everything, but actual people don't count—which I suppose explains why you still deal with such constant drama regarding Americans of Mexican descent to this day.
