It’s been made clear multiple times by various moderators (Charles Fox10 comes to mind first) that insulting politicians and public figures is allowed, unlike insulting forum members.
Has it not occurred to you to leave this politics thread for venting the frustrations that build up on a daily basis?
I assume you dislike him because he stood against the genocide.

While my reply wasn't exactly classy or morally upright, it reflects how I feel about people holding those specific views. Yes, I despise Trump supporters, and I have plenty of reasons for it. I'm not calling for violence; I just don't respect them.
Hate speech is defined as "incitement of national, racial, or religious hatred that encourages discrimination, hostility, or violence," and what I said doesn't meet that threshold.
I expected a warning or maybe a strike, but a 500-point penalty seems excessive.
