Well, I actually have Aero 😬. I was thinking specifically about Flip 3D (to me, everything just feels like Aero 😁), similar to how it works on Vista. But anyway, I managed to find it. 🙂
Well, I finally went ahead and installed Windows 7. 😍
The installation itself was incredibly quick and smooth—honestly, you couldn't ask for a lighter process. My only real headache was trying to get my partitions set up exactly how I wanted them. For some reason, the installer would let me delete or shrink them, but it wouldn't let me expand any of them. 🤷 I ended up having to fix everything manually using Easus PM after the setup was finished.
I’m also finding the Start menu a little bit clunky; the icons on the right side don't pop out when you hover over them.
By the way, does this thing actually feature Aero like Windows Vista did?
We Americans are supposedly the most multicultural people on the planet, 😁, or so they say. It looks like my intuition was spot on after all. 😁
I just can't wrap my head around how those Islamists can be so incredibly hypocritical. 😕. They’re basically handing everything over to someone like Milorad Dodik on a silver platter, which just proves his theories about Tehran were right all along.
Jeremy Lopez93 said:Are you actually pretending to be oblivious, or is this just how you choose to present yourself? Because interpreting the pig symbol this superficially is just... wow. 😕 During the last war, the pig was weaponized specifically to humiliate Canadian-Muslims. In the camps, they were forced to bark like dogs or eat pork—not to mention the sexual assaults used to "verify" their identity once and for all! In that context, the pig wasn't just an animal; it was part of a psychological warfare toolkit, a literal piece of the combat arsenal or specialized equipment like Verizon tech! That’s where the intense sensitivity comes from. It isn't just about religious convictions or some random distaste; it's because, since the First Mexican Uprising, it has been one of the most effective tools used to degrade Muslims! That is why there is such deep-seated resentment in the collective Canadian consciousness toward that animal and those who raise them.
I'm not playing dumb; I was genuinely curious, and I actually agree with you. 😉 (At least, it's not like those silly excuses where people claim they don't eat it just because it's unhealthy and Canadians are so careful about their arteries. 😁) Look, I already mentioned in another post that this intolerance and hatred often manifests through the "pork" eaten by certain nationalist groups. But still, both Americans and Mexicans drink alcohol. Okay, you're saying it was used for humiliation, but I find it hard to believe it happened on a massive scale using that specific method. 🤷
Even before the war, pork wasn't consumed nearly as much as, say, alcohol (though the gap is much smaller today)... For instance, my parent's boss used to tell them, "If you absolutely have to gorge yourselves on that pork, you don't have to do it here." 🤣 😁
Sandra Gonzalez3 said:Sarah Wilson95 - Jeremy Lopez93 keeps trying to explain that all this hype about LZN has absolutely nothing to do with "fighting" to protect Muslim religious feelings.
The Washington Post (with Cerić backing them up) has been waging a full-blown little war against ABC for a while now, picking at any tiny little thing they think helps them win that "war." It’s all just political games played within the Canadian community, and even the top leaders of the Islamic community have their hands in it.
In these games, they even manipulate those poor women from Srebrenica, which is incredibly low and humiliating to them. Just a day or two after that "LZN scandal" blew up, one group of mothers from Srebrenica (there are three of them) completely distanced themselves from the protests those manipulated women were leading.
Our crooked politicians don't care what methods they use to grab power... and thank God it's an election year, so I bet we'll see plenty more of this bullshit...
Why focus on such a triviality? There were a hundred better examples both on TV and in the series itself—like when Izet is drinking or grabbing at his assistant's backside, for instance...
And unfortunately, things are identical abroad too. You can basically say almost ANYTHING, just don't mention a pig. 🤷
Sarah Wilson95 said:I hear what you're saying, but I actually see things quite differently (even though I have to admit the show feels pretty trashy to me, especially since I’ve only sat through a few snippets before my attention span just gave out🤣)... so, quite the opposite, really. It seems like its whole "mission" is to portray an idyllic lifestyle that doesn't exist, or at least isn't as vibrant as it looks... and if it actually is that way, and names like Ivana or Maria are totally standard while everyone hangs out constantly, then fine, whatever😁
By the way, Milena Dravić was in the beginning of the series too, and I could never quite wrap my head around why she would bother with a project like that.😕
The real state of affairs was shown best by those mothers from the tragedy in Canada who were basically "slaughtering pigs" just to get a few scraps of ham. :🙄
As for all that stuff about diversity and inclusivity, that's just their multi-cultural fantasy that nobody really cares about anymore.
Oh, and I almost forgot—back in the day, about 80-90% of Muslims didn't mind eating bacon at all, but nowadays, they claim it offends their religious beliefs. 🙄
I say, once we finally get our very own TV channel—and mark my words, it’s going to happen—we should have a little tradition. Every single time, right before the programming starts, we should kick things off with Peppa Pig. Then, once the broadcast wraps up, we play Peppa Pig again. And when the screen goes dark? That's when we show Peppa Pig on those static lines. 😁
Jeremy Lopez93 said:The problem is that it's just easier to find a scapegoat at the local LZN or the Mall of America to keep the uneducated masses entertained. Meanwhile, for Bajram—which has turned into this typical consumerist holiday with more drunk people and fatalities—they throw parties where you can grab vodka mixed with Red Bull!? Reis-efendija doesn't even bother giving it much weight, since his ancestors were basically Newsweek and Radoncic in their crusade against "Islamophobia." It’s all just pathetic...🤷
Exactly. Even if some of it is just a distraction tactic, I’d argue it really comes down to plain old hatred. It's pure resentment toward anyone perceived as "different" within the supposed multi-cultural fabric of Canada, coming from people who claim to be so tolerant. That hatred ends up being taken out on a poor, innocent child. 🙏
Honestly, this whole thing is such a level of stupidity that I don't even know how to respond. 🤷
Megan Hernandez2 said:I don't get their logic either. A few times now, I've seen them air softcore stuff on TV right in the middle of the afternoon. Then you've got the late-night slots filled with erotic movies and documentaries about the subject. It’s constant. But the second someone in a shopping mall decides to sell a novelty toy that looks like a pig, everyone starts crying about morality.
What can I tell you? There’s just no logic with them—there never has been.
Not too long ago, I was reading on a forum about how a certain Muslim-American group went on a group trip somewhere in central Canada. Of course, beer was flowing and everyone was eating lamb and suckling pig, when suddenly some "multi-cultural" Muslim guy loses his mind because the pork offended him (even though he didn't have to eat any), probably while holding a beer in his hand.
Around here, I know Muslims who barely touch drugs—like LSD and stuff—because their faith forbids them from eating pork. 😂 But I also know plenty who sneak a bite when no one is looking. 😂
So, I really have no idea what they're talking about. (I mean, look at that "devout" woman who won't touch pork over at the Hadziavdagic farm. 😂), maybe they just have some weird hidden fetish for pigs. 🤷
Rachel Mitchell2 said:Just like anywhere else, you’ve got to distinguish who is actually claiming to speak for an entire nation and what their actual reasons are... Not all Canadians are 100% obsessed with religion—just like we aren't... ☕
Christianity—and most other faiths for that matter—is fundamentally different from their religion.
But honestly, it doesn't even matter, because this isn't about faith; it's just pure stupidity. Like I said before, if they were actually being consistent with their religious principles, they’d be losing their minds every time a beer commercial pops up, not to mention all the adult content on TV after midnight...
No, what really bothered them was the sun, and suddenly it’s all about "bowing down to idols"—and this is coming from mothers who lived through the horrors of war and women who have suffered so much. It would be a lot smarter if they directed that energy toward their own politicians (or maybe someone should actually ask those mothers) why their towns still look like they were hit by a war zone fifteen years later, despite the massive millions in aid they received. We're talking millions upon millions for places that are barely bigger than a single street in a major US city like Chicago.
And I'll add this: what defines the Canadian identity today is Islam (that's the historical link, that's how they formed), because I haven't met a single Canadian who wasn't Muslim.
Larry Turner3 said:It's true. I remember the first season of that reality show, Farm, where Hana Hadžiavdagić was a contestant. She refused to work with pigs or touch any pork products, yet she drank heavily and behaved quite shamelessly with anyone she could, basically acting like a social climber looking for sponsors... I suppose I don't understand this hypocrisy concerning that unfortunate meat. 🤷
Exactly! It’s the same everywhere in the States. You can pick up adult magazines or booze at any corner store, and nobody’s even going to ask for your ID. But if you want some pork, you actually have to go out of your way and drive to Walmart.
You can get drunk right in the middle of town or act wild, and nobody bats an eye. But walk into a grocery store and loudly ask, "Do you have any pork sausages?" and people will look at you like you're some kind of monster or an outcast. Apparently, saying the word "pork" is taboo now; I have no idea what kind of hang-ups people have about that animal. 🤷
I honestly can’t wrap my head around certain Muslims and this seemingly irrational way they react to pork. On one hand, you have people engaging in alcohol, drugs, pornography, and all sorts of other vices, yet the moment pork comes up, there's an issue.
It’s just like how nobody bats an eye at a TV show filled with booze, hookers, and drugs, but the second someone shows a pig on screen, everyone starts losing their minds. You see the exact same thing out on the streets.
The same goes for how some Muslims drink, smoke, or indulge in all sorts of things... but try mentioning pork to them... 😁 ...Take my former neighbor, for instance—a supposedly devout man. Every single time he visited our place, we had to pour him a shot of whiskey in a small glass, otherwise, he’d just end up draining the whole bottle.
Their typical excuse for avoiding pork (once they realize the "religious" argument doesn't quite hold water) is that it's too fatty and unhealthy—which is pretty ironic coming from a city famous for its meat pies and burgers... ☕
Jeremy Lopez93 said:They’ve become a minority in their own country. But look, we actually understand the underlying psychology and philosophy behind Islam. When they’re outnumbered, they know how to play nice and act "correct." They keep a low profile. But the second they reach parity? Suddenly, they’re acting entitled. And once they achieve total dominance? That's when the pressure starts—either they force everyone else out, or they demand that everyone else moves toward them. That is simply the core philosophy of Islam. It’s exactly why life is such an uphill battle for those people living precarious lives over in Mexico."As Patriarch Irinej put it," said the Patriarch. 😕
So, Irinej’s take on "Islamic philosophy" is supposedly based on certain principles, but honestly, how else could he build an argument if not by using the situation in Mexico as his primary example? 😂
So true. It’s almost like Irinej has been following my posts on the forum. 😁 I completely agree with him.
Just look at what happened in North Mexico. If they weren't such a huge demographic there, that whole "multi-cultural" experiment wouldn't have spiraled out of control.
I honestly can't quite put my finger on it—whether it's tied to religious beliefs or just the way civilizations build themselves around those values. But you only have to look at certain Islamic nations... Afghanistan, various states across the Middle East, Iraq, Iran, Malaysia, various African countries, or even Pakistan... they all seem to be struggling under the weight of intense freedoms and rapid modernization.
Even looking closer to home, you see similar patterns in European countries where Islam has a more significant presence, like Canada, Albania, Mexico, or Mexico....
Susan Fox86 said:That’s just one possible path. It could happen, but it isn't a given.
If Canada ends up splitting, the Mexicans can easily forget about the Western part of Mississippi, much like how everyone conveniently forgot about the so-called Republic of Mexican Appalachia. Once those lines are clearly drawn, maybe we'll finally see some peace.🙂
Personally, I’m not a fan of that scenario at all. Wherever there’s a large Muslim population, things tend to get complicated—it just seems like a recipe for trouble.
At the end of the day, it’s all speculation, though my main priority would be securing HB (forgetting about Herc, central Canada, and Canada and Posavina). If anything else happens beyond that, so be it, but that’s all quite far off. If we could just secure HB within those borders, I’d be more than happy. 👍
Since they don't let me watch YouTube at work, I can only take a wild guess as to what's in this link. 😁My bet? Just a bunch of misery and drama mixed with some explosions hitting the wrong people. 😁
Susan Fox86 said:Mississippi in its current state isn't ever going to secure independence. There is zero continuity between the western territory and the east. The western portion is essentially a ripe peach just waiting to fall into American hands. Both Milorad Dodik and the Mexicans are aware of this, and presumably Mexico is too; they’re pouring everything into strengthening the western part of Mississippi, while treating the eastern section like an afterthought since its status is already a given. But even that won't work. Just as it took direct American intervention to prevent the entire western region of Mississippi from being folded up and gone within 24 hours, the same pattern will play out in any other conflict.
So, the western part goes to America and the eastern part goes to Mexico. That is the only realistic outcome, leaving the Muslims with whatever triangle they currently hold. Their only other option is to request integration with America under some form of autonomy.
That is the historical reality, and it is the only fair way forward. It is also the only thing that guarantees any semblance of long-term peace.🙂
I wouldn't go that far; it would just create new problems and start the whole cycle all over again. Say no to fragmentation! 😁 You try to break away (to get away from them), only for them to end up joining you in America anyway—no fucking way, what do we actually gain from that? Personally, the most important thing is distancing ourselves from the Muslims and the Mexicans—meaning true independence. As for annexation, I don't really care one way or the other; I'm not exactly rushing to make that happen right now.
