I took a nasty spill on my bike and landed right on my left palm 😢 I went in for some X-rays and they diagnosed a scaphoid fracture—thankfully it’s non-displaced. The plan is seven days in a splint followed by a cast for about eight weeks
I’ve been doing a little digging online, and honestly, the sheer volume of information is overwhelming. It sounds like a pretty complicated break... Has anyone here actually dealt with this personally? I’d love to hear some real-world experiences
A few years back, I remember sitting there watching the local news weather report, listening to those segments about how people with chronic conditions might struggle when the pressure drops, and honestly? I just laughed. I thought it was total nonsense. Now, looking back, I realize how much of an idiot I was. It’s not funny at all. Over the last couple of years, I’ve basically turned into a human barometer. 🙄It’s constant. Either I can’t catch a wink of sleep, my entire body feels tight and knotted up, or I’m just on edge—like there’s this intense, heavy pressure building up inside me.
This movie is pure, unadulterated trash 😁 I mean, there’s a scene where he stuffs those women into a sack and starts beating them against a tree 🤣 or that ending where some guy flies in from outer space just to pick him up... absolutely priceless.

Look, buddy, ☕I know exactly what I’m talking about. That's why I used terms like filmmaker, director, or producer—wherever it made sense to mention them.
Michael Mann stands out to me as one of the most exceptional filmmakers working today. His craftsmanship is truly top-tier, particularly when you look at how he constructs his action sequences and firefights; they are just 🙏
Guinea Pig—it’s this Japanese series spread across four or five parts... honestly, people call them snuff films, but they basically *are* the real thing. You have these women tied up, and then it just goes from there: torture, sexual assault, and so on, all the way until death. It is absolutely deranged. 🙂 The first installment was filmed back in the 80s, and for a few years, everyone genuinely believed it was an actual snuff film. I even read somewhere that Charlie Sheen watched it, passed out cold, and then rushed straight to the FBI to report that he had witnessed a real snuff film. 😂
One of the standout fight sequences from Oldboy, captured in a single continuous shot through that hallway—just one guy armed with a hammer taking on about ten thugs at once. It’s brutal.😬 In my opinion, Asian cinema generally delivers much more visceral and well-choreographed action than anything we see coming out of Hollywood lately.
Imagine Mirko Filipović and Jean-Claude Van Damme getting absolutely wasted on moonshine out in rural Tennessee😬 what kind of absolute chaos would that scene be?
Movies from the 70s and 80s generally hit a sweet spot where everything felt right... whereas films from the 90s onward seem to have gone overboard, often leaning way too hard into being unrealistic and over-the-top.
