The thread already went back and forth on that video a few times. Nobody's quite sure why they turned down the aid. There was some chatter on the forum suggesting it was due to the crisis, but that seems wrong since they accepted help when civilians were handing it out yesterday.

Why is this thread even discussing God in a Christian sense? Or religion in general? It's entirely possible to be a theist without following a single dogma.☕Sure, you might get disillusioned with the institution and all that, but why does that cause people to abandon the entire concept?

Someone who is genuinely angry at God can't really be called an atheist. That sounds more like just a frustrated theist to me.

Or the Sophists and that "Man is the measure of all things" idea. 😉 I’ve always found that more relatable than a strict Socrates approach.
