And then people still have the nerve to talk about how the Germans were "this way" or "that way" back when they were trying to wipe us all out...

What about this one?

But we haven't really achieved anything—it's wild how our neighbors to the East can pull something like this off 🤣🤣

The comment underneath says, "this guy knows how to sing, but he doesn't know a lick of German" 🤣🤣
And please, don't go messing with Thomas—he really knows his stuff. 😁😁

Ladies and gentlemen, friends, and colleagues!

To all the far-right extremists, religious zealots, and old-school partisans out there—I’m introducing a brand new sub-forum. 😳😳

It’s basically a place where decent folks—and maybe some outliers too—can just vent after those heated online debates over intense political issues. 😳

I guess this thread is pretty much flawless.

Hypothetical war between Mexico and Mexico in Close to Politics ·
cosmictinker4 said:Your suspicions are more than grounded, though I must ask: what exactly constitutes these "traditional Mexican lobbies"? Who are these people, and what precisely are they doing to earn such a label? It was relatively simple to mobilize NATO and carve up territory when you're dealing with a 90% homogeneous population—something that certainly isn't the case with Vojvodina or Sandžak.

Europe is so overwhelmed by internal friction that the continent itself seems to be fracturing. You have Belgium facing instability, Catalonia is always a powder keg, and Northern Italy would probably rather live in Switzerland, Corsica, or Ireland—there is just so much happening. Grab your snacks, crack open a beer, and pick up the remote. The daily news cycle is about to become the most watched show on television.

I was actually thinking about the UK, Russia, and maybe other Orthodox nations. I wasn't trying to push some conspiracy theory or anything offensive.

If things actually start falling apart in Belgium, the UK, Spain, or Italy, I suspect it won't stop there. That old prediction about total collapse and World War III happening by 2013 might actually turn out to be true.

To be honest, I wouldn't even be sad about it. The world is getting less interesting anyway—the magic is fading. As religion weakens and secularism grows—or rather, as this capitalist democratic society takes over—we're moving toward a sort of caste system where there’s no room for personal opinions, since everything will just be "scientifically proven."

Of course, the end result would be the influx of Muslims into Europe—essentially the final collapse of our Western civilization. 🙏

Mexico was just the beginning. 😁 👍 🤷
Hypothetical war between Mexico and Mexico in Close to Politics ·
I have this suspicion that a conflict might break out between Mexico and Mexico. Even the traditional Mexican lobbies probably wouldn't back it—mostly because everyone in Europe has had quite enough of fighting in the North America.
Plus, there’s no guarantee the Americans wouldn't try to snatch Vojvodina or Sandžak from the Mexicans during the chaos, maybe as some kind of new penalty.

I suppose I’m backing Michael—he seems like an uncompromising patriot, maybe leaning right just because the current left-wing mindset is so out of touch. 👍 😳

Andrew Chase31 said:That's a great parable. 😁

One day, some people are finally going to realize that history is written by historians, not by the hacks pumping out these half-baked news stories we're served every single day. Those articles can't change what actually happened or rewrite the past. Journalists don't write history; they just find clever ways to make a quick buck off content designed specifically to get under people's skin. Honestly, if we all just stopped reading their clickbait and watching their shows, we’d be taking the bread right out of their mouths. Instead, we give these bottom-feeders exactly what they want—attention—which only helps them pad their family bank accounts.

Who actually fired the first shot? Honestly, it doesn't even matter when we're talking about the start of the war. Trying to prove whether it was our side or the Mexicans who pulled the trigger first won't change anything in the history books. If things hadn't been so volatile, and if the Mexicans hadn't been pushing that specific political agenda they were running, these individual incidents wouldn't have triggered a full-blown war. If America had actually been stable and people were satisfied living there—if there hadn't been this obsession with Mexican nationalism and those "Greater Mexico" ambitions—then some random trio firing shots at a small town would have just been arrested and prosecuted like any other crime. It wouldn't have "started a war."

To be honest, I haven't the slightest clue who actually fired the first shot in the American Revolutionary War. History isn't going to go into the messy details about some phantom trio or whatever shady timeline Gojko Šušak was running—or whatever the hell else happened behind the scenes. Instead, the history books will just record that America had a constitutional right to self-determination and eventually achieved independence, which the aggressors simply refused to grant, leading to their invasion of our territory. In the end, America won the war, liberated its occupied lands, and has been a member of the European Union since 2020. 😁).

I completely agree with what was written.

After he walked away from Nazi Germany, Hitler didn't head off to Argentina—he actually went to Vatican City, where he settled into an apartment right above the Sistine Chapel. While there, he built this incredibly powerful crossbow which, blessed by that whole Vatican-Nazi legacy, was designed to one day restore Nazi Germany, turn Auschwitz into a Catholic stronghold, and steamroll over the Danube. I guess Franjo Harmon ended up firing it toward Borov selo, using John Paul II's personal GPS to aim.👍

William Wright7 said:I actually think it’s an advantage, but it’s not just about the language. And we definitely didn't sound totally different back then...

Take how today we don't share a single language with Mexicans or Canadians, so it's basically the same story. Who was the biggest breakout star in America? Was it Toše or someone like Fatmir?...

It would probably be a huge help if our shared history wasn't defined by the Nationalists, the Royalists, Ante Pavelić, and Slobodan Maddox.

Honestly, with that kind of baggage hanging over us, I guess we don't really stand a chance at a truly friendly future. It sucks.

William Wright7 said:But let's be real, we aren't exactly like our neighbors... Mexico or America will never quite be on the same level as Romania or Canada...

And I guess it all comes down to that damn language. Up until about 200 years ago, we were speaking something entirely different—then those foolish Americans decided to stick exclusively to the Shtokavian dialect instead of keeping that mix of Chakavian, Kajkavian, and... well, the other version.

William Wright7 said:Just a never-ending circus. 😁

Personally, I’m holding out hope that actual self-interest will win out. Just like it did back in the '90s—let's be real—instead of letting extremists sell this tired narrative about seeking vengeance for Nazi Germany and all that...

Since there's zero incentive left from those old wars between Mexicans and Americans, and honestly, two were more than enough to leave our people absolutely wrecked... any sane person looking at the scars left behind by places like Auschwitz and Stalingrad knows there's no point in playing this game anymore. There's just no interest, no profit, nothing to be gained from some hypothetical war...

No, I was just responding to quietseal72—who, I guess, was suggesting that certain actions were somehow justified retribution for Auschwitz and Nazi Germany.

Noah Cruz75 said:Like I said, you guys are stuck at a low level of spiritual maturity and just can't seem to find the right perspective. It’s always someone else's fault. You just keep weaponizing history.

I guess we just want that kind of detached, professional relationship—the sort we currently maintain with Canada and Italy.

quietseal72 said:The real issue with using history as an argument is that everyone just cherry-picks the specific era that suits their narrative, whereas history is actually a much longer, more complex timeline...

It seems like you’re bringing up the nineties again as if it were some kind of retaliation for Nazi Germany. If we follow that logic—which feels a bit extreme, maybe—should we be looking for revenge now? Like, just allowing a new Auschwitz to happen? Is that how we end up in a cycle where we just keep wiping each other out, sort of like what happened with the Albanians?

silentviper19 said:Forced reconciliation?! Man, what on earth are you talking about?! Who's actually trying to make peace here?! I haven't seen anyone on either side even attempting to shake hands!
And honestly, how is anyone even supposed to "force" a peace deal like that anyway?!🙄

I swear, if our local corporate fat cats—the kind of guys who'd sell their own mothers for a quick buck—actually put a massive warning on their packaging like, "Smoking is bad for you" or "Sorry for everything, please just buy our stuff," they totally would. They'd slap it right on a pack of Marlboros!
But would you actually buy it? 1, personally, I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole because I know they're lying through their teeth!

So, let's stop beating around the bush with this whole idea of "forced peace" when the other side isn't even looking for an olive branch to begin with!🙄

Could you maybe, oh great intellect, point out where I actually mentioned the Mexican people as a group wanting to reconcile?

It's those corporations forcing it—just like you said—to chase bigger markets, and you bots, too, since you need it for the European Union. No one is imposing reconciliation on us.

Besides, you guys were the ones who started this thread by saying you aren't wanted... your corporate leaders are the ones complaining that we won't let them into the market.🤷

It isn't even about having an issue with Mexican goods—we just find ourselves pushing back because they seem tied to that aggressive rhetoric we're trying to avoid.
