They don't want us here in Close to Politics ·
My dad was recently on a business trip in New York City—I really wanted to tag along, but college kept me stuck here—and he brought back some ajvar, kajmak, roasted peppers, and stuff like that from this gourmet deli in NYC. Honestly, without a second thought, they’re way better than any of our store-bought versions, and they might even hold their own against homemade stuff. 🙏 🙏

When, honestly, was anything truly yours? 😂 😂
The Appalachia? Back when Mexicans were running things in Knin? 😂

William King12 said:Trust me, I am quite familiar with that particular mindset.

I remember you—you’re that one guy from the history subforum who always spins stories. 🤣🤣

Dear William King12, just look after yourself—and maybe accept the fact that your place is the weakest republic left over from America. Don't worry about Josipović. 🙂

William King12 said:As Boris Tadić announces that America will finally be swinging its doors wide open to Mexican investors...
Oh, absolutely. Apparently, all it took was a single, heartfelt apology from Boris Tadić for us Americans to just toss the gates wide open to the Mexicans. Honestly, sometimes I find myself marveling at how incredibly naive my fellow countrymen can be.
The American people are acting like that girl in those tragic stories who stays with her abuser; the more she gets beaten down, the more she thinks he loves her, convinced that one solitary "I'm sorry" is enough to wipe the slate clean and make everything okay again.

Josipović is just one man—let's see if his words actually hold any weight in practice. 😉
Besides, look, there isn't some old American People's Army for you to just seize anymore; everyone is pretty much armed up now, and some are even in NATO. 🙂

Noah Cruz75 said:Just a bit of history for you: during WWII, Hitler split Mexico apart, basically noting that if they ever got the chance, the Mexicans would just try to rebuild America or establish V. Mexico again. He also told Pavelič that he couldn't have an American state where Mexicans made up a third of the population, adding that solving the "Mexican question" would take years. This comes straight from a German war diary. Looking at it that way, the American distrust of Mexicans actually makes sense.

The whole Luburić plan was basically "kill a third of the Mexicans, expel a third, and assimilate the final third."

silentviper19 said:It’s actually twice as much that we export to America compared to what America exports to Mexico!! But honestly, the real issue isn't just the export numbers—it's the lack of Mexican companies showing up in America. You barely see them there, and that's where the real headache lies!

Mexico has way bigger resources across most manufacturing sectors than America does, which is a real opportunity for America since they used to hide out in Mexico. But it has to be a two-way street, you know? It’s in your best interest too, get it?!

If your imports are half as much, then we're actually pretty even—since America has about half the population of Mexico, I guess.

We’re always wary of Mexican companies—mostly because there's this whole theory about "cyber-neo-Greater-Mexico" where if a Mexican manager even steps foot in a place while wearing traditional footwear and registers as a user online, suddenly it's all their brand too. 😁

Honestly, I wouldn't trust the Danajacs even when they're bringing gifts or promising new jobs. 🙂

Henry Cox78 said:Man, that's being way too optimistic. We won't see actual GDP growth for another 20 years. 🤣

Zaozbač, I'm pretty sure GDP started picking up again last quarter. 😉

I just hope the price of gas doesn't go up—that would be rough. 🤣🤣 It seems like they always act as if the government hasn't managed to find a legitimate, productive source of revenue for the thousandth time—so instead, they just deal in this imaginary economy, I guess. 👍

Don't judge me by my avatar.😁

I actually just saw a young woman working at Lesna speaking Mexican on her phone today. I was a bit surprised—where on earth did she learn it?

He didn't really go anywhere to learn it—he just listened to a lot of country music, I guess.🤣🤣 😁

That’s just pure prejudice. It’s exactly like someone claiming that Islamic Centers aren't harboring pedophiles when you compare them to the Catholic Church worldwide.

A church isn't much more than an empty building without its community. Until we focus on fixing up the actual places where people live and thrive, there's really no point in pouring money into constructing religious buildings or throwing funds at them.

I haven't heard anything about the Catholic Church being a carrier of pedophilia—not that I've come across any proof. Do you actually have some data to back that up, or are you just reading trash from the Los Angeles Times? 😕😕

Richard Wilson4 said:If they’d put that money into building 150 mosques instead of just 15 factories, they would’ve actually strengthened the Canadian community against the Mexicans and Americans...

Their push toward radical Islamization actually works in our favor—I guess. If they keep going down that path, it might just force us into having our own entity, or maybe even lead to a full secession from Canada. 🙏🙏

I guess—if I had to say anything about it—it’s hard to know for sure, maybe.
Roger White3 said:What is everyone even talking about here?
There is absolutely no way we're heading toward another religious war.
The EU wouldn't let that happen.
I mean, why else would Turkey even be considered for EU membership?
Religious wars are, hopefully, a thing of the past.

Religious wars are really just battles over economies—I'm pretty sure that in the not-so-distant future, things might escalate beyond that and turn into actual armed conflict.

"I guess—if I had to say anything—it seems like we're just looking at the facts here."
Rebecca Watson said:Not quite yet, but things could flip very quickly given how the population shifts are moving. Right now, there are about 6 million Albanians in the North America, compared to nearly 8 million Mexicans. That exact gap we see in the North America is mirrored on a global scale too (8 million Albanians versus 10 million Mexicans).

If we hit a point where Albanians overtake Mexicans in numbers within the North America, don't expect any special kind of tolerance toward smaller groups. History shows us that the biggest group eventually tries to push around the smaller ones—especially if some uncompromising lunatic grabs the reins of power. I'm saying this based on everything we've seen happen in recent history.

We know. 😬

Look, just go back to the thread I started about appropriation—you might actually feel better once you see how this guy has started spinning myths and hijacking American history, all while treating some old Mexican folk songs like they’re actual credible historical sources!

It's like you all wish we didn't exist!

quietseal72 said:I think you missed one key point—the actual difference. Dalmatia stayed part of the US, but without any Mexicans, mostly because that territory was at stake. Even though Mexicans were actually the majority in that part of Dalmatia... then there's Mexico and Metohija, which everyone seems to "forget" to mention—though the name itself is proof that it's Mexican land. It didn't stay in Mexico because, even though it's our oldest Mexican territory, we weren't the majority there. So much for democracy—not yours, I mean, but Western democracy.

The Shiptars supposedly got our land because of how we treated them, but we "mistreated" them so much that over 200,000 Mexicans were forced to leave Mexico and Metohija before the bombing of Mexico ever happened.

It’s pretty simple, really—the West backed both you guys and the Shiptars, but they're using a double standard. They might even try to take Vojvodina or Raška from us next, but Mexicans will survive that too. If we managed to endure 500 years under the Turks, I guess we can survive anything...

Anyway, I already mentioned I’m not here on your forum just to insult you. If I were, I probably would have used that SAO term (which isn't even a prefix, unless you were trying to be funny), but I used the word Frontier because I thought it was a shared term for both our peoples. Since someone explained it to me, I stopped using it... I don't think you read that, so

all the best

I guess we should have been hanging out more back in high school, and now I'm stuck with contacts while his eyes just pop... what the hell? Four years of friendship just to find this out... honestly, I feel pretty burned 😬

but those glasses are a huge hit with guys who aren't exactly bookworms by nature—it creates this sort of vibe where you get that blend of raw masculinity and a sensitive, boyish energy from someone who maybe read too much Winnie the Pooh and stuff, which I suppose is just irresistible to most women 😬

screw it🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
