lol, if she actually shows up, ask her how much a pound of truffles costs these days, haha 🙂
Kevin Chavez3 said:honestly, we should just make it a rule that if you're a fan of Muse or Placebo, you get an automatic ban from this place.

Upvoted. And honestly? Same goes for anyone who thinks Tool is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Jesse Sanchez60 said:but look, there are other big-time promoters out there—and from what I've heard, that Arcade Fire show in New York City this May is pretty much a done deal😉

as long as it isn't at some sketchy dive bar🙂

I mean, you can't exactly play Sonic Youth with just one guitar
but honestly, it still sounded alright...

Screw you, wArewolf :2up:
"Damn them, The Hold Steady! How can a band actually be this good?" — that's basically what Rolling Stone is saying about their latest record, "Boys and Girls in America." Then you've got Rolling Stone magazine claiming if there's a better indie outfit in the USA right now, they're practically invisible... One of the absolute best "small" rock bands on the planet is officially hitting the Coachella VIP Experience this year!

Boys and Girls in America are gonna have such a blast together...

That movie was already on my list to download—just moved it right to the top.😁

Man, when Bean gets hit in the back... Bad Bob ends up with a hole so big it looks like he took a direct hit from an M1 Abrams tank... you can practically see the courtroom through him🙏

By the way, if you’ve got any other Western recommendations—you know, the ones with those gritty, unconventional interpretations😬 and characters that actually feel real—hit me up. Besides The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, I’d say Missouri Breaks (with Marlon Brando 🙏) and The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid are my top picks...

So, I’m calling this kind of a prompt-driven 😲 🙏

Thanks, >. If you happen to stumble upon any others—you know, something a bit more, I don't know, high-stakes 😬—just let me know.
I guess I'll just see how far I can get with this one...

I think this belongs in the movie subforum 🤔

Stacey Keach playing that pale gunslinger 🙏 in The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean by John Huston. Seriously, hands down one of the most despicable villains to ever grace a screen 😁

Anyway, I’d be super grateful if someone could point me toward a decent shot of Bad Bob—clearly I don't know how to work Google properly. And I need it ASAP, because I really want him as my avatar 🙂

youth is wasted on the young 😬 whatever

did we at least catch each other's eye or say hi? my memory is a bit shot—it's hard to keep track of that total maniac from the Midwest while hanging out in a bamboo forest for three days straight 😁
Man, I can't even begin to tell you what's actually worth talking about here

Zion Train needs to be taken out by gunfire. Those idiots deserve to have their livers ripped out with a fishing hook—while they're still awake.

Kevin Chavez3 said:That festival trip to Cleveland was hands down the best thing ever. Better get those guest beds ready, because I'm coming back soon.🙂

Not sure what Maria Reyes9 thinks about all this, though.😈

We’re gonna be even more prepared next time. The crew dedicated to turning good boys into bad ones (Bencic style) and tough punks into chill guys (Botic style) is already practicing for the sequel.
Devils at 3:00 highlights.

So, who's actually showing up? Is it Dan Stein or Darren White? If it’s Darren, man, that is going to be absolutely insane!

🤣

I heard that too—that it’s Darren. Pretty sure that’s the same day they're playing Donington. 😬

Ugh, I seriously cannot wait. Definitely hitting up the store to grab some new sweats right after work. 🙂

wanderinglynx49 said:Oh great, how are you guys getting there? I need some ideas 🤔

Venezia to FC Barcelona—just fly

From NYC, you can grab a train to Venice (Mestre), and from there, there's a decent bus that runs to the airport (Treviso).
If you're coming from somewhere like Philly, it's probably better to take a bus to Pittsburgh first and then catch a train.

Honestly though, the best way is just to drive to Treviso. :smart:

For crying out loud, just Google it—your fingers aren't going to fall off if you type a few things in. 😛
wanderinglynx49 said:So, are you guys all set or is there room for two more? 🙄

Yeah, we already grabbed tickets for everyone and sorted out a place to crash at a buddy's house. So, yeah—we're good. 😬
Check out this insane http://www.primaverasound.com/index.php?idioma=en

A pass for all three days (including today) is about $95, but it jumps to $115 starting tomorrow.
I found a flight on Southwest Airlines from Venice to FC Barcelona if you go May 30th through June 3rd—it’s around $40 plus taxes. Parking at the airport is gonna run us about $8.
Hostels in the city are running maybe $25 a night. Honestly, if enough of us go, we might be better off just renting an Airbnb; prices are sitting around $55 a day.

Hanzaplast and I already grabbed our festival tickets. So, if anyone else is actually down to go (and even better, if you can drive us to the airport 😁), let me know here or shoot me a DM. We need to have the flights and the place sorted by the end of next week at the latest.

ya:raan said:The drummer—who was already completely trashed at that point—just lunged at his buddy because the guy happened to be wearing a shirt from some old '96 festival... and he almost started weeping, rambling on about, you know, being out in Europe, meeting people, hitting up those big cities... back then, we actually had food, drinks, and decent cash coming in...

Yeah, word is they pulled in $1,000, and apparently, that was the biggest payday they’d ever seen up to that point.😲
Cola must be some kind of witch—someone wrote somewhere back in '67 that he was. If he was twenty then, that puts him at fifty-nine today. Maybe he’s just, you know, exhausted. I'm typing this with the full belief that I'll finish before the bottle runs dry...
Adam Ross4 said:they actually had vocals back when they were doing that Rhesus Factor thing... 😁
I honestly liked them better back then... 🥳

😲
back then they were just some nu-metal clones with one of the most grating vocalists in the entire state—and let's be real, the Pacific Northwest is basically a breeding ground for terrible singers
now? they’re easily one of the best metal bands in the country, with one of the best vocalists on the planet

man, life is weird...😎
