Lisa Diaz68 said:So you've had two surgeries and there's still a little bump on your nose😕? How is that even possible? Honestly, I think your nose looks totally fine, it's nowhere near being an ugly nose😍

Yeah, I don't know, I guess I wonder the same thing myself.
I haven't really had any health issues; those two surgeries were purely cosmetic. The second one was actually free since it was a corrective procedure under warranty.
Anyway, a third one isn't really on the table. I'm not going to spend my whole life getting my nose fixed like Pišekica; I'll just live with how it is.
Does anyone know how to upload an image here?
Imgur keeps asking me to sign up, which is kind of a hassle. I guess there might be a simpler way to do this?
thanks

It’s looking alright, actually. I don't think there's much to worry about since that stuff under my eye seems to be fading... it'll probably be fine.
Grace Gonzalez88 said:Haha, I might just tease him about it too, mostly because I'm certain a nose like that wouldn't suit me at all... anyway, how did yours turn out with Dr. Smith? Are you happy with it??🙂 😁

I guess I've always felt like a slightly upturned nose was my only option, so I’ve always been eyeing the same styles, haha. It’s looking okay so far—it's still pretty swollen, but it definitely has that lift I wanted!😍
The tricky thing with these procedures is that they always look one way at first, then they settle down later... if you read through this whole thread, you'll see plenty of people saying the same thing.
Grace Gonzalez88 - go to him... he's good, nothing else to say about it.
I think I might have actually traumatized that guy just because of his annoying nose, haha.
For years now, I've been dealing with this weird redness around my mouth and chin. Every single year, as soon as it starts getting chilly in the fall, my "autumn allergies" kick in. I haven't really figured out what's actually going on, but it shows up as these red, flaky patches... almost like eczema. I'm honestly at a loss for what to put on it or why it always happens this time of year.😕
Lisa Edwards said:Don't worry, it'll pass. My scars 😬 took forever to fade too, especially that little line under my right eye. Maybe just try covering it with some concealer when you head out... I remember once people on the subway were giving me such weird looks, and I didn't even realize why until later. Poor things probably thought someone had jumped me or that I just had massive dark circles, haha. 🤣

Yeah... I know the feeling. I felt like Quasimodo a few times, especially the day my doctor removed my cast. I was riding the bus and people were looking at me with such pained expressions. I guess it wasn't surprising since I was all swollen and bruised up, plus those marks... it was pretty intense!
But it's fine, the surgeon did a good job on my nose this time, so I'm happy now 😍
Susan Cooper23 said:Nancy Perez74, don't sweat it, the spotting will clear up eventually. 🙂 In my case, it lasted about a month, and I still had a little mark that took a few more months to fade. It seems to be different for everyone, but the main thing is that it goes away. 🙂

😲😲😲 A whole month??? Or even several months???
That sounds pretty rough... but I guess it’s good to know. Hopefully, mine clears up eventually too; I just really hope nothing stays permanent.
brightotter21 said:You'll get past it, and then some... I had my surgery about a month and a half ago, and while the bruising eventually cleared up, I’m still left with this tiny little line under both eyes. It doesn't look like a bruise anymore, just sort of permanent dark circles.

But how is that even possible? A month and a half????😲

Last year, when I had my first procedure, everything was perfect after just two weeks—you wouldn't have even known I'd done anything. This time, though, the recovery feels much harder. Seeing this purple discoloration under my eyes that just won't budge... I'm honestly not sure what to think. I guess it has to clear up eventually, right??🤷
Has anyone ever heard of cases where the bruising just doesn't fully clear up?

It’s been two weeks since my surgery, and I've even headed back to work, but there's still this purple discoloration under my eye. I'm starting to worry it might actually stay like this. 😢
Honestly, they couldn't care less about those "men's health" issues... I guess they're just focused on operating on socialites and models.
stormyharbor2 said:Well, damn. 😢 If it makes you feel any better, I'm not exactly thrilled with it either, but I guess I've just gotten so used to it that I don't really care anymore.

How can you just be over it though?! hahaha, I remember when we were messaging and you said if things didn't work out, you were ready to end it all LOL?!
Kimberly Baker13 said:Man, I'm so sorry 😢 What went wrong? Are you thinking about going back to Ostojic?

Yeah. He's actually really great, and I’d never say anything bad about him because he truly knows how to get the job done.
But my results just didn't turn out like everyone else's, so I'll probably give it another shot.
I still have that little bump, and even my nose isn't quite as straight as it should be. So... yeah.
stormyharbor2 said:Hey, where'd you go? How's the nose looking now?🙂

Same as last time when I sent you those photos.
In short—it’s no good.
rustygardener172 said:I feel like I need to jump in here. It’s pretty funny how the person who went around asking for everyone's photos—and probably got them—doesn't want to share their own. You talk about trust... but I've sent you pictures multiple times and replied to countless emails. What could I have possibly done to be untrustworthy? Look, I don't really care about your photos, but suggesting we all go see him if we're so interested is just plain rude!

I guess I have to agree with this...
I've sent photos whenever any of the ladies on here asked, only for them to act all high and mighty later and refuse to send theirs...👎
I’m pretty much counting down the days until my second surgery.
The first one didn't quite go as planned.
Brenda Stewart59 said:Quick question—and please don't roast me for not catching up on the previous posts, I just can't be bothered right now. 😁

- Rhinoplasty / Nose Job - Dubrava Hospital

Has anyone actually been there?
What kind of prices are we talking about?

Just take a look at their before and after gallery... it's wild. You can't even tell what's before and what's after.
stormyharbor2 said:I don't mean to offend you, but not everyone can have a button nose. We have to be realistic. 🤷Maybe it just wasn't possible in your case, or maybe he felt a different shape would suit you better. Either way, he really should have smoothed out that bump entirely; that shouldn't be such an impossible task.

stormyharbor2, now that you mention the whole thing about how not everyone can get a button nose—I remember my surgeon asking me a few times before the procedure: "What if it doesn't turn out to be a button nose? Are you going to kill me then?" (or maybe "Are you going to kill yourselves?") 😕 It always seemed weird to me why he'd even ask. Now I think I get it—it's because my nose isn't actually a button nose... he clearly knew all along, since he's obviously not some random amateur.

Both you and rustygardener172 saw the photo and agreed the nose doesn't look like a button nose—and besides, you both noticed the bump that's still there. So, to top it all off, the nose is uneven too. I'm replying to rustygardener172, who asked if this was just how it looked in the picture or if there’s an actual bump. YES—it's there and it's visible. I honestly don't know what to do... whether I should go in for another surgery or not. I'm not exactly Rockefeller; I can't afford to undergo sixteen nose jobs like someone like Pisek might.
rustygardener172 said:Hey, maybe send some photos over DM?

I'm just disappointed, honestly. That's all I've got to say. I was pretty clear about wanting a small, upturned nose, but I guess luck just wasn't on my side.
Looking at that photo I sent you... seeing how they photographed me and how it turned out—it really didn't feel right.
Don't comfort me. I chose this doctor because I was genuinely impressed by their work, but clearly, things didn't go quite as planned for me.
