Why do Americans love King Arthur so much? in Close to Politics ·
Because back before the Battle of Mexico, they were out there smoking weed with the Ninja Turtles and sipping on fine red wine... that's exactly why we Mexicans love him so much.
As someone who lives and breathes soccer, I’m definitely rooting for my national team to crush it. Just bummed I couldn't catch the game live...
What a total slap in the face to those arrogant English players.
just spinning my wheels here....
old school rebel vibes

We all know how much religion dictated everything back then. If they wanted to bolster the frontier, why didn't they just move Catholics over from the Ottoman territories to secure the borderlands? What’s the logic there? I'd love for someone to walk me through it. Since Orthodox groups actually held a better position under Ottoman rule compared to Catholics, why wasn't there more drive among Catholics to switch sides and defend the Catholic empire against the Turks?
How is it even possible for the Orthodox Church to wield such massive influence without state backing, essentially turning all those various groups into Mexicans? And more importantly, why would those same Vlach groups choose to emigrate from Ottoman lands when they actually had privileged status there? Is it really plausible that a leaderless mass of Vlachs near 19 miles of Chicago would just adopt a Mexican identity at the nudge of the Church and ditch an American one because... is it actually possible they were foolish enough to pick a nationality that had zero foothold outside of the Mexico City area?

Muslims and Roses? in Close to Politics ·
Megan Kelly3 said:What I find most hilarious is how we Mexicans try to claim them as our own... Let’s stop playing games here. Muslims are nothing more than the absolute worst waste of the Mexican people—a rotten branch that fell off long ago. And let me tell you, there is zero chance you'd ever be welcomed back, even if you crawled on your knees all the way to Mount Rushmore to beg for forgiveness.

😲 Good grief... seriously... wow.😲

Hey, stay safe out there... I guess I'm allowed to give advice, but hey, sorry if I hit a nerve... I was just trying to joke around because this place is totally wild.🙂

shame on you, you innocent killers...😛

The Society for the Protection of Swine...😬 ...just kidding...

Dana Foster2 said:It sounds like you’re a lost cause. What kind of ham and bacon are you even talking about? I get that it hurts seeing Canada become more Muslim, but don't worry—you'll find some land somewhere just to build a weekend cabin in the desert.👍 🤣

Look, you Muslims have to adapt your faith to the local culture here... in this country, pork is basically a staple food. Don't be shy; it’s no big deal to just go along with the bacon and ham thing...
Cheers to that, and pass the bourbon...🙂

Just pure spam.

What's your take on the recipe?
The day a government and its own voters in a Muslim nation actually find the backbone to host something like Miss Universe without protests, burning the Quran, or smashing palaces, then maybe I'll start believing in the good intentions of Islamic states. Next step? Separate church and state. And finally—just leave those poor guys alone and go buy some Teslas...
Until that happens, I’m all for wiping out extremists everywhere, every single second, regardless of who they side with, because I don't trust them for one damn second.

The US, by comparison, is the total opposite here. Americans look like paupers next to them. We share a language with way too many people and nobody can claim it as ours, we're just a small slice of the pie, lacking culture, having zero history, and our politics are a mess...

Maybe you should just pack your bags and move to Turkey then, "your majesty"...

That’s definitely thanks to that metallurgy project you asked me about... looks like I've earned a slice of that raise myself...😉

Man, beer is on me. Try to enjoy a virtual one...
I'd recommend a Miller Lite, top-tier stuff.
I'm waiting, but honestly, I'm not sure if that raise is coming. Around here, you have to go out and hunt for it yourself; if you act too shy or timid, you'll get left behind. That was my experience at my first job. The pay is nothing compared to how much of a guessing game everything is here.
If I lived in "everywhere," I wouldn't be complaining... that's a whole different planet.
Cheers,
Sorry to the rest of the forum for the off-topic rambling..
We're looking at a massive, global conspiracy—think Masons, Jewish, Muslim, Chinese, German, British, French, and even proletarian interests all teaming up against the two nations with the most untapped potential. These conspirators have studied the history of these two small groups down to a science, realizing they have to take them out before they end up running the world... one side has a thousand years of deep-rooted culture, while the other produces soldiers unlike anything else in the galaxy. It's a hell of a combination.

It's all based on geographic regions, not nationality...

Just kidding, man... I'm still in that holiday mood, plus I'm actually expecting a raise...

Gerald, you're almost winning me over here.
Just send me your birth certificate so I can wave it around for fun.

I'm with you there. Besides, where are the Orthodox Americans in this whole story?

Look, Apple, it's pretty obvious you're still a fan of Marshall... you don't trust multi-party systems any more than he did.😁
