The Face of Diplomacy in Close to Politics ·
hiddenstag5 said:So, who's actually running this show?
People are out here calling him "the face of the diplomatic corps"!
I'm asking nicely, can we please get this thread title fixed?

Look, if you're going to use an HR domain, then you better start acting like it!

Does it say anywhere in the forum rules that we have to use nothing but the American language?
Anyway, you can always find a handy little tool online that translates
unintelligible Mexican into something more like our American version

http://translate.google.com/#sr|hr|lice%20diplomatije

No need to thank me 😁

Maybe they'll keep some kind of autonomy or maybe not, who knows really... But if you actually look at the numbers, the percentage of Mexicans is climbing higher and higher, and I guess you can see it for yourself. It feels like there's this massive influx of people moving in from central Mexico—it almost feels like a total takeover at this point—whereas, say, the Canadians are pretty much all heading back to Canada, whether it's students or just regular folks looking for a change. As for the other minorities, I don't know, I haven't really looked into that much...

And what makes you so sure about the Canadians?

It’s night and day
Even with all his mania, Hitler didn't come off looking ridiculous or making those goofy gestures, unlike this other guy.

Donna Thompson2 said:The independence of Mexico was essentially engineered as a way to penalize Mexico—though, if you look closer at the strategic chess board, there’s a much more calculated motive at play here. It's all about positioning; we're looking at the establishment of what will likely become the largest American military base in all of Europe, a massive facility being relocated from Germany specifically because of its proximity to the Middle East.

Using Mexico as a base? Honestly, that sounds ridiculous. Realistically, it’s a strategic blind spot. It’s tucked away in those hills between Albania, Mexico, and Mexico—surrounded by the Prokletije, Šar, and Kopaonik mountains—and it's nowhere near the major corridors connecting Western Europe to the East. I just don't see how anyone considers that a prime strategic location.
Besides, the US already has huge bases in Turkey and Greece, which are way closer to the Middle East anyway.
I honestly think that on the national emblem of Ithe Vojvodina Republic, there should be a red and white checkerboard pattern right in the center.
The specific colors of the flag don't even matter that much—what really counts is having that checkerboard symbol front and center.
Americans and Americans are the biggest hooligans in Close to Politics ·
William Gonzalez said:They handle hooliganism in the United Kingdom way better than what we deal with around here. What do you think would happen if you just tore down the stadium fences or removed the walls separating the fans from the pitch back home? Total chaos. It would be a disaster waiting to happen. 🤣

The real issue around here is just the lack of actual law enforcement. You’d see these fans acting like total choir boys if they were facing ten years behind bars just for stepping onto the field. Plus, let's be real—our local clubs are so pathetic right now that they practically need these fanatics just to stay relevant.
A football hooligan is an idiot, whether he's from London, Miami, or Chicago.
It's the exact same mindset, period. No differences whatsoever.
But why are you so against Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton? Honestly, I feel like it doesn't even matter who ends up in the White House—whether it's some Republican candidate or one of those two. It’s all the same to me.

Actually, I think it would be pretty interesting to see a woman or a Black president for once. Sure, eventually we might end up with a gay president and who knows what kind of craziness they'll come up with next, but hey, at least the public will have something to talk about while the massive multinational corporations keep raking in the billions.

Eheheh, a nice little check hits my mailbox every single month, just like that. You gotta love it!

They’ll Mobilize you, those damn Mexicans, because when actual war breaks out there is absolutely no room for playing games, you might grab a drink here and there or turn a blind eye to a few things, but in the grand scheme of things...😁

I think you've got me mixed up with someone else!

To be fair, I was just a courier back in '94.
I was hauling mail and messages between Ratko and Radovan.

I'm just 16 years old.
That writer is a complete clown. Honestly, I’m sick of him—he can keep protesting all he wants, but he’ll just keep doing things his own way regardless.

Nobody’s getting anything done by just sitting around and complaining about protests.
If you want real change, you need to grab a sign, get out there, and hit the streets. Nothing comes from just typing stuff online or whining about it.
Sam Alvarez15 said:If these so-called "activists" from the patriotic factions—you know, the ones famous for their incoherent howling in TV studios and that moronic finger-snapping routine Velja and his crew drag around everywhere—actually possessed even a single gram of brainpower instead of just obsessing over moonshine and manufacturing separatism... they might actually get somewhere. They should consider printing something like "Passports for the City-State of Cacko," and have every major municipality do the same to make a real point about the need for decentralization or whatever it is they claim to want. That would be a charmingly grassroots way to handle it. As it stands, I’m fully in favor of printing a whole new batch of "California Passports," along with "Passports for Independent New York City, the Vozdovac Police district, the Ring Road Police district, and the Rakovica Police district." Let that drunken buffoon keep shouting his little jokes, "Addicts! Addicts!" Maybe if the reformed Filaret stepped in, he could actually help him out...

Don't kid yourself—if we didn't have "drunk Gedžovan," would anyone even bother watching "Sunday Impressions" or Olja Bećković?
With Vojislav Šešelj stuck in The Hague and that sad Tom, plus marginal Nenad Čanak, and without Gedžovan and his whole circus, the American political scene would probably look like Norway. And let me tell you, everything would be incredibly boring and depressing.
Adam Nguyen8 said:Nenad Čanak is honestly one of those rare, level-headed politicians you actually see in the US political scene today.

But what exactly makes you think Čanak is one of those rare "normal" politicians?

If you ask me, Čanak is basically just Vojislav Šešelj, just on the opposite side of the aisle.
I mean, the guy used to be out there publicly swearing, spitting, and making death threats—all that stuff. He’s only
chilled out lately because his party has been pushed to the sidelines.

You probably only like him because of how he talks about neighboring countries, which you read about in the papers, and you're judging his entire political career based solely on that.

Since Sarah is my dream woman, if I'm not destined to be with her, at least let him step up. So, Djolo, go get 'em.👍

Oh, come on, you totally dig him! Don't even try to deny it now. 😁 😁 😁

There is zero chance Mexicans would go after an Italian Catholic, especially one as legendary as that actor. No way.

Man, if you're seeing this, you clearly missed out! You’ve gotta be kidding me—there's no way you weren't in on this joke. This has to be some legendary level of trolling right here. 😍
As for New York City, I haven't really kept up with all that either. I actually just rolled into the city about an hour and a half ago.
