The thing about Fish Soup is that it feels way too tied to that specific extremist ideology. And honestly, I’m not even a huge follower of their stuff.
I get it—people joke around, it happens, it's normal... but it's also perfectly normal if you don't want to show up to a concert for a band that mocks or hates where you come from..👎
What kind of American would actually show up to a concert for a band that spends their whole set making jokes at our expense when they play in Canada?! Just total idiots...
Right after the show, I ended up standing next to two "critics"—one was raving about how incredible it was, while the other was basically saying it sucked... nothing special, apparently. I knew right then—it’s definitely not worth reading the reviews tomorrow... As for the concert itself...👍
I honestly think we’ve got enough freedom to call our own shots and decide what we believe in... I have this friend who keeps preaching about how everything in life is already predestined—just more of that nonsense... Sorry, I totally lost my train of thought on your topic because I’m just venting after being baited by his constant lecturing on the subject... If he really buys into that stuff, then that's how he’ll act—convincing himself he has zero agency over anything... Anyway, I'm just rambling now... sorry... cheers
Make Yourself is definitely my favorite—especially tracks like Warmth and Pardon Me! Just finished spinning the new album again... honestly, it’s incredible. 👍
I absolutely love the Azet track—you know, the one about the pheasants flying! And that limited edition Rhode Island pressing from Siddhartha? Man, the quality is just incredible...
