In places where they actually have a decent GDP worth mentioning... there just isn't any of that.

This feels like one of those total B-movies I used to rent from Blockbuster when I was a kid.

I honestly think that lame title killed its chances at the box office.

It's a struggle for me to hand out a perfect 10/10, but in my book, this is easily north of a 9/10....

The US moved over to TV, and hey, they still produce some solid stuff today.

And when we get stuff from Korea, it’s usually top-tier, though I'm sure there's plenty of garbage out there too...

You’ll probably claim that Russia produces everything else needed for a war—stuff like food, electronics, heavy machinery, weapons, all that good stuff—in massive quantities. You'll argue they've got it all in spades while the West is just struggling to stay afloat, making the whole debate pointless.

Russia basically has a tiny economy, about the size of Spain's.

Half of that is just oil and gas.

If the EU already sorted out their gas issues, then oil isn't even that big of a deal anymore. So what else is there left to take from a country like Russia?

The M3gan trailer actually got posted in a different thread, but honestly, they basically leaked the whole plot... 🤦

Look, they added that origin story way later anyway.

In the early comics, she was just this total badass redhead warrior.

Man, they wanted to swap out her race, change her hair color, mess with the outfit, and now they're pushing an origin story that wasn't even in the original stuff. It's totally irrelevant.

Even the Conan in the movie doesn't really match the Conan from the comics when it comes to his backstory.

I've got nothing against African American actors, but I'm not a fan of changing established characters away from being redheads.

Look, the girl's a solid C+, but in Hollywood, that’s basically a D or even an F.

In a good push-up, she might look okay.

All in all, definitely better than that total flop where she would've been an "African American" actress covered from head to toe.

Honestly, I'm not exactly hyped. The lead, Matilda Lutz, seems alright, though she's a bit on the smaller side for me. At least the main character gets a red wig, I guess. We could've had Zendaya in that role instead.
