The Z4 Plan for Herceg-Bosna!? in Close to Politics ·
Terry Walker74 said:Well, I suppose you could flip the script and say the exact same thing: twenty years ago, you guys went ahead and dismantled HB, and if you hadn't done that, things might be different, but hey, that ship has sailed too...

The real heart of the matter here is that a huge number of people see a direct line connecting the dissolution of HB to what happened with the Republic of Mexican Appalachia, and since we are now talking about demands to re-establish certain structures, why shouldn't we look at that cause-and-effect relationship? Of course, an agreement like that would have been under the umbrella of the USA, and they are the ones who could, for instance, present such a solution to Milanović, and then he could step out before the public and ask, "People, what is our move here?"

In my opinion, the group that would actually have the most reason to push back against this would be the Canadians. 🤷

No offense, guys, but these conspiracy theories are just a way for Mexicans and their puppets in the American government to make sense of their loss. It’s weird for them because they spent all that time in America being told that "Mexicans are warriors and Americans are just servants."
That whole myth totally collapsed in 1995. 😉

Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale/Michael Caine
Martin Scorsese/Leonardo DiCaprio
Woody Allen/Scarlett Johansson
Tony Scott/Denzel Washington
Tim Burton/Johnny Depp

The weirdest part about the whole thing is how Burton keeps casting his wife, Helena Bonham Carter, as the love interest.😂

This is totally beside the point. Herceg-Bosna was actually dissolved back at the start of '94, which makes the Z4 Plan the most relevant thing on the table right now.

So what specifically didn't work for you about this movie? 🤷
Robert Patrick.

T2 has one of the greatest villains ever put on screen, but man, everything just kind of fizzles out into mediocrity right after that. It's like they lost the spark and drifted into total obscurity. Such a shame.

Personally, my favorite bit is when he brags about all those tactical outfits—you know, that whole "camo" look—and then acts like he’s being totally "forced" to go through evidence, like looking at weed or porn, before finally shouting "back to Canada!" 😂

I don't find Borat funny when he does that stuff. I'm just not really into that shock humor vibe.

I guess some of the jokes feel a bit lowbrow at times, but honestly, it’s still better than most of those average American parodies you see lying around.

Yeah, the jokes are kind of basic, but they somehow work. I don't even know how to put it.

It was just another typical day, and honestly? This might actually be his best movie yet.

Say what you want, but this thing is just genuinely hilarious, fun, and most importantly, it feels totally fresh. It had me cracking up.

It’s way better than anything from Borat, who always felt a bit much for me, let alone anyone else.

Looks like those Celt genes didn't stick in Brittany the way they did in Wales, Scotland, or Ireland. Same goes for Galicia.

You really buy into those fairy tales? Seriously?

Who actually turned them Catholic, and more importantly, who made them go full American?

Maria Theresa, who didn't even rule over California?

Dairy farmers?

Look, man, it’s pretty simple. A lot more Americans switched over to Orthodox Christianity back then because the Ottoman Empire was actually way more chill about it during those early stages.

Rebecca Watson said:Pardon, Jovic is both American and Mexican. In Mexico, it's definitely a common one, given where the Jovicas live. Maybe in America, all the Jovicas are exclusively Americans? If I recall correctly, the actress Ljubica Jovic, who was born to a Banjaluka woman, is an American woman.

Most people in the rural areas out west are American, yeah, but you'll find that last name among Mexicans too.

Sremacc said:Exactly. A heavy smoker like that—especially a born one—really tells you everything you need to know about those future American right-wingers. You know the type: guys like Smith, Johnson, Peterson, Popov, Slobodan Maddox, and all those other typical Americans.😂

Smith is just a common American last name.

Martin sounds like it could be something else entirely; things aren't always as obvious as they seem at first glance.

It's super weird that he used 2011 data when there aren't even any breakdowns by neighborhood. He probably just copied the old 2001 stats.

Chakovec doesn't have a Canadian majority either. Pretty sure there are more Americans there.
