It’s honestly kind of awkward.🤣 Maybe once I’m further along in my pregnancy.😬 Next time, I’ll definitely try to sneak some deli meat past the line at Walmart.😈 One time, I felt like the entire crowd just turned on me because I accidentally stood at the front of the queue just to see what was on sale.🤣
It’s not even the fact that nobody offers me a seat or lets me pass that gets to me. I’m halfway through my pregnancy, and since my bump isn't huge yet, people can still pretend they think I’m just... well, a little extra filled out. 😬 Besides, I still feel fit enough to stand for those 10 minutes or so. It hasn't been an issue so far. I still love staying active. I’m mostly just doing stairs and walking for now, but it’s increasing every day. I honestly don't want to think about how I'll manage to get up to my floor by the time summer hits. 🤣
But the rudeness? Yeah, people are rude. Honestly, the hypocrisy is what bugs me most. They’ll lecture kids about why they aren't standing up, yet the older folks—who are busy lecturing everyone else but could easily stand because they aren't elderly or sick—won't budge either. 🙄
I wonder if things will change once my belly actually starts showing, but I’m not exactly optimistic.. I remember seeing an acquaintance on a packed bus once; she was clearly very pregnant. She had a long commute, and standing in a crowded bus like that is exhausting even for someone who isn't pregnant and perfectly healthy. Not a single person offered her a seat. Everyone just acted like they didn't see her. I actually called out to her from across the bus to tell her to come sit down when I spotted her. That moment really stuck with me. I ended up more frustrated than she was 🤣
Chester, man... why?? 🙂🙂🙂 It feels like a piece of my youth was just ripped away from me.
I’m honestly just so sad. Linkin Park was hands down my favorite band back in high school. I used to treat myself to their original albums all the time; I never felt bad about spending my allowance on them.
My biggest childhood crush listened to LP, so that’s how I got into them and ended up loving them so much. I’d always jump to defend them against any critics. And I had such a huge crush on Chester specifically... this news today just completely shocked me and hit me hard.
First kisses, those first touches in smoky clubs, falling in love, that first joint, and that specific feeling in your stomach... they remind me of all of it. R. I. P. Chester. You hold a special place in my heart. I've been crying all night. 😢

What does a cat have to do with some damn real estate agency?? And you actually found a legit PDF for your "issue".. 🤣 If you don't want it, just give it back to the owner and be done with it.. 🤷 It's just a regular cat.. it's not a freaking hippo 😬 There's an entire PDF on this forum dedicated to pets and the adoption process.. If all else fails, take the cat to a local animal shelter and explain what's going on. Poor little thing 😢

Skip this one at all costs.
I loved the first one!!!! And I thought the second one was actually pretty good!!
This one felt like a bunch of recycled ideas mixed with pure boredom and some unnecessary filler. They could have taken such a different approach... Boza, I honestly could've written a better script than this!! What even was that? The acting and directing were fine, I guess. But the story and the script? Total disaster.
I'm looking back at movies I gave a 1 on IMDb. This is worse than all of them; it deserves a zero. Honestly, this might be the worst movie I've ever sat through in my life.
Goodbye, franchise loop.
🤣🤣 Well, this is certainly motivating... Just when I was thinking about finally watching it today or tomorrow. 😬
It seems like there isn't much interest in this movie on the forum... 😁 I'm planning on catching it in the next few days. Looking at the IMDb score, it doesn't look great. Honestly, it feels pretty expected... I’m still going because watching these has become kind of a tradition for me. I still remember when the first American version of The Ring came out... No movie has ever truly terrified me like that one did. I was traumatized for years. 🤣 Even though I swore back then that I would never watch that film—or anything remotely related to it—again, I ended up watching almost everything. 😬 Both American versions (including that short film connecting The Ring and The Ring Two), all three Japanese Ringu films, and even The Ring 3D... I guess you have to face your fears to get over them. 🤣 That was my way of trying to get rid of the fear of Samara, but I have to admit, I still get a little uneasy about it...
I'm looking forward to seeing it, regardless of how it turns out. 😁
Has anyone seen it in 4D yet? Is it actually worth spending the extra money for? 😁
Life’s just one long series of lessons, whether you want them or not. 👍
My parents basically look at me like I’m some kind of high-stakes notary or a legal clerk, but honestly? That whole vibe just isn't my scene. It's totally not my thing, and frankly, I'm failing miserably at it. It’s all buried in that mountain of paperwork. Like at work, when some judge needs something, they don't even look for it themselves—they just call their secretary to go hunt it down. We should just swap them out entirely. Every time I show up in front of a female judge, she acts like she’s better than me the second I make a single mistake. They see some tiny little detail and immediately act like, "Oh, you absolutely have to know this!" They play all these high-and-mighty types, acting like they’re some kind of experts, when in reality, they haven't accomplished a damn thing. Law is basically the only field that doesn't have to deal with actual physics or chemistry. It’s just people arguing over words while everyone else deals with reality. 😁
I honestly think the real issue isn't even the job itself—it's that whole attitude coming from female judges. I'll take gay guys over straight dudes any day. 👍 They're simple.
Back to that whole idea about working at a preschool. Honestly, it would be my dream job, but am I really going to enroll in college at 24? It feels wild. That being said, the curriculum for early childhood education actually really interests me, and I'm super into it. Interesting. I actually already took a look at that school's curriculum. 🙂 I wouldn't mind grabbing some books just so I could dive straight into studying right away.
Why not?
I know a woman who started her freshman year of teaching school (early childhood education, or what you call being a "preschool teacher") when she was 30, mostly because she couldn't find work in her previous field.
After three years of undergrad, you can get hired in the field, and recently there's been more availability for part-time graduate programs too. You see women in their 40s and 50s in grad school all the time—half of them are in their 30s—who just want to further their education in the career they've been doing for years...
So no, being 24 isn't late at all... It's easiest to just dive in. By 27, you could already have your degree in hand and start working in your profession. (Just keep in mind that before you get permanent placement, you usually need to complete a year of student teaching for $800 and pass your certification exam 🙂)
By the way, I think you might be able to do early childhood education part-time starting from your first year (though I'm not 100% sure. As far as I know, the master's programs are mostly part-time only.) ... So you'd work a full schedule during the week, then hit the books on Fridays and Saturdays. You just have to decide if that's what you want to do.
Can anyone help me out here?.. So, I picked up my new Microsoft debit card from Goldman Sachs today. Later on, I headed over to an ATM just to check my balance, but the machine kept telling me the card was invalid and the transaction was declined... o.O I tried a different ATM a little later, but it's the exact same thing. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Is it possible they actually sent me a defective card? It feels like there’s really no reason for it to keep rejecting me.
I have a quick question... and please, if anyone can answer as soon as possible, I'd really appreciate it 🙂 So, I've been on birth control for six months now. I need to get a new prescription because my last one was only valid for six months (and even if it wasn't expired, I'd still need a new one since someone actually stole my wallet, which had my prescription in it along with everything else -.-). My question is, can I just show up at the clinic door to pick up a new script without an appointment, or do I have to go through a full check-up again? I'm taking Yaz, by the way.
Honestly guys, I don't get why everyone is getting so worked up about this 🤣😵 I noticed it was gone too (and yeah, I'd gotten used to it), but it's really not that big of a deal 🙄
If losing it means fewer server crashes, then I can live without it... dealing with 503 and 504 errors is way more frustrating 😁
You preserve it so it doesn't fade, stick it in a journal, and tell yourself it's a good luck charm... If it doesn't actually bring you luck, at least it looks nice 😁
