rustygardener172 said:stormyharbor2 I'm here 🙂 I might not be posting as much as I used to, but I still read everything 🙂 What do you mean, broke their nose? Like a piercing? If so... yeah, I've had mine since before my surgery... don't even wear the earring anymore... just got bored of it 🙂 It doesn't hurt at all!

Yeah, a piercing. Doesn't hurt? Everyone told me the exact opposite—that it hurts, especially this way (more than a tragus)—so I'm a little nervous because of my nose surgery 🤷
I have a question... If rustygardener172 is still hanging around here, please chime in 😁 Has anyone else who's had surgery actually broken their nose? How bad does it hurt, and what kind of pain are we talking about? 😳 I’ve got a pretty high pain tolerance, but honestly—after the whole surgery thing, specifically having those tampons pulled out and getting cleaned up (which was absolutely revolting)—if anyone even thinks about touching my nose, I might just lose it and snap at them right in the face. *sigh*
rustygardener172 said:Short and sweet: NO.
At the end of the day, it'd cause more harm than good.

PREACH. Honestly, I don't get why people would go under the knife for stuff like that—WTF. Isn't there anything else you'd rather spend that kind of cash on, especially when your nose is already perfect?😕 FYI, this is coming from someone who actually had nose surgery, but in my case, everyone said "YES"😁
Sophia Young73 said:I went outside right after they took the molds out without even wearing any foundation—and honestly, nobody even realized I'd had surgery.

Wow. 😲 I was wearing literal layers of makeup... sure, it might smudge, but that's still better than people noticing I'm a blonde.
Does anyone else deal with this—you pop a tiny pimple on your nose and suddenly your whole face swells up like you just went under the knife?🤣 I remember right after getting my braces removed, I had this little breakout near my nose, and Dr. Glušac told me to leave it alone because it might spread to the rest of my nose or something... I honestly thought he was joking at the time, but now looking at this potato-shaped nose of mine, it all makes sense. 😳
Sophia Young73 said:It’s been exactly a month since my surgery and this bump on my nose still hasn't gone away :'( My nose doesn't even look any smaller yet :'(

A bump?😳
Emily Nguyen2 said:Taking out a tampon doesn't really hurt, but it's just gross—seriously, ugh. It felt like someone was pulling two massive, slimy red worms right out of my nose. 🙂🙂 🙂

🤣 Oh, totally. Though personally, it actually did hurt for me. I wouldn't dream of doing it again without some normabel or something to numb things down... 🙂
In Photoshop - filter - pixelate, there’s an option right there for pixelating... I don't remember the exact setting by heart, but just play around with them all and you'll find it.

I swear my nose is growing—it feels like it's getting bigger every day. 😳
rustygardener172 said:Don't take this personally, but people are literally writing about this exact thing all over this forum right now. If you're actually interested, just dive in and start reading like the rest of us did once. Or would you rather have everyone rewrite their entire life story just for you?!
Nobody can pick a surgeon for you—just like nobody can go under the knife for you. This is "work" you have to handle yourself.
If you have an actual, specific question, go ahead and ask. But based on what you posted, I don't have anything else to tell you besides what I just said. ☕

I saw Dr. Glušac in Makarska and I'm really happy with the results. 👍 If you have questions about my procedure, I'm happy to help... shoot me a PM.

I second all of that. Someone seriously needs to put together an FAQ because it seems like some people just can't be bothered to read—meanwhile, before my surgery, I talked to a ton of people and read through this entire thread from top to bottom. 🤷
He told me the same thing—that it was at a 90-degree angle—but honestly, it looks lower than what steelangler88 described. 🤔

mostly, I just end up looking totally goofy whenever I try to smile

Are you sure about that? If they had to fix it with a second surgery, he definitely cut into that muscle above the lip... if that happened, you wouldn't even be able to move it at all. 🤷
steelangler88 said:stormyharbor2, how long has it been since your first procedure? After my first one, things didn't drop quite as much, and then it settled perfectly... I honestly have no clue what's happening now.

It’s been over six months... Wait, what happened during the first round? I haven't really been following this thread. Actually, looking at us, it seems like we have similar nose shapes—mine is just a bit larger with wider nostrils.
steelangler88 said:the profile is okay, I guess, but those semi-pro profiles are massive😕 and my tip has dropped so much—it's driving me nuts.

I'm dealing with the exact same thing (it’s like the software knows exactly what I'm thinking). I wouldn't say it looks terrible, but my nose still looks huge, and the way the tip has sagged is just annoying... I catch myself constantly trying to push it back up with my finger, acting like that's actually going to fix anything.🤣

Honestly, I think it’s just going to stay this way—actually, it'll probably sag even more. At least that's happened to me...
Ashley Gomez, you've got a really nice nose. 😉
rustygardener172 said:Honey, if I remember correctly, blowing your nose like that isn't exactly recommended... I have no idea why people do it?! Rinsing is fine, sure, but aggressive blowing? No.
It's a completely different story when you soak your nose with saline first and then blow—then she might catch a little blood—but just blowing hard on a dry nose and straining like that... don't do it.

I used to do that. 😳
Rachel Fisher97 said:Thanks stormyharbor2, I honestly thought you only meant under general anesthesia. I mean, that part isn't even that bad... but being strapped down 😲 🙂)

I thought you were asking about general anesthesia? Forget it, I was drunk. 🤣

They didn't strap me down.
Rachel Fisher97 said:When I got caught... 😁
So, I've got a weird one for you... do they actually hook you up to that machine where you can hear your own heartbeat? 😛

Yeah.

One more thing—do they keep that needle in your hand during the surgery? You know, the one in the vein... if you catch my drift... 😁 ?

Yeah.
Honestly, I’ve completely lost track of who’s actually buying and who’s just drinking... Send over some photos if you've got stuff or if you're looking.🤣
urbanowl13 said:I have a question for those of you who actually went through with the surgery—specifically if you were absolutely miserable about your nose beforehand, like totally obsessed with it... does that fixation actually go away once it's fixed? I mean, what I'm trying to ask is, does your confidence just skyrocket immediately? Do you finally feel beautiful and satisfied...?
I hate my nose (and I'm not being dramatic, it's genuinely ugly), and I'm terrified that even after the surgery, I'll still be stuck with this obsession...
🙂

People have been messing with me about my nose my entire life, both kids and adults. Older folks would literally ask, "Why don't you just get that nose fixed?"🤷 Even my best friend told me, "If you fixed your nose, you'd be gorgeous." She wasn't being mean, just brutally honest... But honestly, it felt like someone was throwing a comment at me almost every single day—nose this, nose that... And yeah, I'm less obsessed now. I don't even think about it anymore, even though it's still not exactly small...
Congrats, haha. 😍
Sophia Harris96 said:We could honestly just make a bet right now—I'm positive yours is even worse than mine... seriously, let's put money on it. 😁

Haha. Alright, you want to make a bet? 🙂 🙂 I don't really have many photos of my nose to show—well, besides a few I sent to Glušac, but he told me it looks way better in person anyway... 😬I used to avoid taking profile pictures because, honestly, from the front, my nose looked decent enough to pass for normal. Before the surgery, we spent so much time staring at noses on his computer screen—just analyzing them... and let me tell you, the only ones that looked worse than mine were the people with broken noses or those who desperately needed a revision surgery...

Melissa Taylor3Whatever, man. You can think whatever you want about me... 😢

Sophia Booth35 said:So, what’s the actual recipe here? Are we talking melted margarine? The stick kind? Cubed up? Or is it that spreadable stuff meant for frosting... 😍

🤣🤣🤣
