It's a slang term for... well, let's just say it's a bit vulgar.

Maybe she’s just watched way too many movies featuring guys with thick Russian accents.

You should probably take a look at the thread rules, honestly.

But you actually have to point out exactly where they messed up, ☕

I wrote "definitely" wrong—that was just a typo, not a grammar issue—so I'm not counting that. I think there was another mistake somewhere else, too.

Anyway, this whole thread is a bust. I really thought Grace Hayes2 would show up so we could go head-to-head since she was bragging earlier, but honestly, what else can you expect from Rachel Palmer56? When I kick the bucket, please just bury me in a hole so I don't have to deal with her letdowns one more time.

Lmao, cope.

Skorpion is actually all over Washington, D.C. and the surrounding areas—they're pretty widespread, really.

Fun movie. I ended up watching it because I happened to spot a license plate in passing, so I figured I’d check out what the hype was about. 😬

I dig how it pokes fun at that whole bourgeois Western pretentiousness—but honestly, it feels a bit shallow and way too on-the-nose to be top-tier political satire.

The mistakes regarding the US setting were just... morbidly bad. Between the inability to make a realistic license plate, having characters who sound like Americans trying to speak Slovakian, those ridiculous Google Translate vibes in the dialogue, and then that house at the end—which someone above correctly pointed out looks nothing like anything you'd see in the States. It doesn't fit, inside or out. I mean, it is what it is, but the execution was pretty sloppy.

The one thing I can't wrap my head around is why they chose America as the setting. If they had picked some random country in Africa, maybe it would pass, but for us, none of this really makes sense. It would have been much more believable if they’d actually set the hunt in some remote backwater in the US.

Someone else praised the fight scene at the end, but personally, I found it a chore to sit through. Just five minutes of people swinging wildly and crashing through glass. Good grief, I almost fast-forwarded. Then again, I get that the movie is aimed at an American audience, and they aren't exactly known for their subtlety.

I think Bill Burr is alright. He can be a bit of an idiot and a total jerk sometimes—but let's be honest, there aren't many better options out there right now. Most of the time he actually makes me laugh (though his second-to-last special was a bit of a miss for me). Overall, he's my favorite Norm.

They basically just left him to die on the streets.

It's just sad.

So much for the rule of law.

On a side note, I once snapped a photo of a ridiculous sign on a Samoborček bag that looked just like what you're describing. 😬
I really need to dig that up.

Even for me, those rituals you're bringing up feel a little extreme. ☕

Charles Bailey2 said:It’s actually pretty simple. You’ve got to hit a sparrow with a slingshot in as few tries as possible, take a one-minute swig of dark wine straight from an ExxonMobil jug without spilling a drop, mow a massive field back and forth without ever making an "S" pattern, buy a round for the entire bar, and walk in like you own the place—kind of like how I act when I stroll into a diner in rural Texas. That’s it. Not hard at all.

Honestly, though? I’d much rather just hang out with my girls from the city. ☕

Well, then you’ll just have to marry me. You can’t go around sabotaging things just out of spite. ☕

while the other half comes from the South—places like Mostar or Western Herzegovina.

For me, that second half applies to a lot of things—including some roots tracing back toward Herzegovina if I look at our last names.

I have some roots tracing back to Western Herzegovina, though I definitely consider myself a city person through and through—most of my family is based here in the North, after all. How about you?

If we were going to call Ruby a snake, I think she’d probably be more like a boa constrictor. 😳 It’s not that she’s being annoying or suffocating—it’s just... well, it's because she's a woman. 😳

I always just assumed it was some kind of coastal stone—you know, from the West Coast. It’s basically the same type of rock anyway.
