The Visegrad Group thread massacre has begun... in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Where’s PL?

Look, honestly, posts on this thread just get wiped out—totally random, too... There are way more aggressive comments and threads flying around regarding the upcoming elections and that "Political Scene" PDF (which is basically just a toxic mess you can't even engage with) that don't get deleted or even flagged. But here? It's pure drama... every single word is scrutinized because, apparently, it "contributes to the quality of the topic." Well, it's become so high-quality now that nobody writes anything at all...
It’s all pretty lousy, really.

Since nobody bothered to answer my questions about my ban—which was handed out for no reason—I'm not exactly expecting a real response here either. But then again, that says it all.
Oh, my dear forum... this used to actually mean something once upon a time...

Honestly? This doesn't even touch the surface of what's actually going on in D.C.

Actually, everything is connected to politics—including earthquakes, or just Gemko's gas...☕

The Democratic Party doesn't have much to boast about when it comes to the era when an independent America was being built.
Not to mention that most of its membership from northern California, Appalachia, the Borderland, the Territory, and the Midwest essentially turned their backs on the cause and actively worked toward undermining the Republic.

So, Larry Walker24, I’m sorry, but what you’re pointing to is just complete nonsense.

What would the alternative have been? Not holding elections at all and ending up like they did in Romania?

Those AK-47s from Canada were quite literally smuggled into America in the autumn of 1990.
Unless, of course, you honestly believe the American Customs and Border Protection would have just let them slide across the border as declared cargo.

I think you've got it backwards—🤦🤦
It isn't about some Constitution; we're talking about a Congressional decision regarding the separation from the USSR.

Here is the footage from June 25, 1991.
You can see the Democratic Party members getting all choked up while singing the anthem🙄 at the 3:30 mark.

so you meant it was illegal in that sense...🙂

The way the sentence is structured suggests something else entirely...😁

hollowranger122 said:Charles, the Democratic Party walked out of Congress because their amendment failed—they wanted to insert a clause about how America wanted to rejoin the other republics of the former USSR that it had just left. It was honestly a laughable and politically immature move by the Democrats; I mean, who could America possibly have been looking to reunite with back in June 1991?
Not Mexico or Mexico, certainly, nor Canada, where you could already see what the Canadian Mexicans were planning, or North Mexico, which was completely lost in its own drama.
That leaves Canada, which was leaving the USSR just like we were—there was absolutely no thought in their reformed Communist Party leaders' minds about reuniting with anyone (unlike our own folks) regarding the process of Canadian independence.
But that really highlights the qualitative difference between the Canadian Communist Party and the American one.

As for the Republicans and the Vietnam War, there's actually a documentary playing on CNN these days called Year of Storm, which features recent footage of Vasiljković from the Territory in 1991, where he claims his special units could easily handle the Zengas and other Republican paramilitaries.
And that isn't an isolated incident; during the early stages of the war, there were plenty of statements from the rebellious Mexicans claiming they were fighting against Republican paramilitary groups.

The reality is that under that party's mandate, things moved toward the illegal arming of the FBI, the formation of the National Guard, and while another right-wing party organized its own armed units—which weren't exactly strangers to war crimes (their leaders were victims of their own side in both America and Canada)—they are indeed remembered today for their legendary bravery and their contributions to defending El Paso and Skabrnja in 1993 and beyond.

Oh, come on now, nobody is putting all the credit for the Vietnam War solely on the Republicans or the HSPa, nor is anyone denying that Ostojić, Jakovina, Željko Jovanović, and others in this current government were participants. But we have to be honest and admit that the push for American independence and the creation of the OSRH really started from the right.

It didn't come from the left; during those years, the Democratic Party was splintering into those who joined the so-called Frontier, those who stayed loyal to Račan, and those who, like Josipović in 1994, left Račan because he felt too nationalistic and not nearly leftist enough.

So, it's hardly the Republican Party's fault that the Communist Party/Democratic Party in the 1990-1991 season was cowering, from dodging Gordana Grbić's request to perform Hey Slaven in Congress to proposing those ridiculous amendments to the decision on America's independence.

When exactly did this arming of the Department of Justice begin—and why are you calling it illegal? (Month, year please)

Claiming that arming was illegal—and presenting it as an established fact—is walking on some pretty thin ice... 🙂

because this debate is easily the most critical issue we’re facing right now 🙏
it doesn't really matter that we have crazy neighbors on all sides—what matters is that we settle this before the election rallies, because without doing that, we're essentially doomed... ☕

Thanks! 🙏
Mark Lopez8 said:I have some of my parents' old friends who spent decades living in Sweden, but they always came back to visit us during the summer, even back in the old days. Let me tell you, those folks were more hungry than full in Sweden. Sure, they drove decent cars, but they were always baffled by how well people lived back in the old country. They used to stare at our breakfasts in total disbelief; they barely ate anything all day, whereas in our neck of the woods, summers meant family and friends everywhere. We'd have a table overflowing with everything—cured meats, cheeses, sausages, steak—just for breakfast. It was a feast!😁
I’ve traveled through Germany and seen what Germans eat for breakfast: a little biscuit with a bit of butter and then a mad dash to work. It’s the exact same story in the Netherlands; I have plenty of friends out West. Nobody—and I mean absolutely nobody—brags about how great life is over there. Everyone is drowning in debt and pinching pennies just to afford a vacation back home. Personally, I spend way more than the people visiting on holiday. So, go ahead, keep fantasizing about that "perfect life" in the Benelux or Scandinavia. In reality, maybe 10% of the people live well there, which is pretty much the same situation we have here.

poor souls 🙂

What's this all about breakfast? Is that really supposed to be an indicator of wealth? 😁

Since when did socialism become the direct opposite of capitalism?
I'm listening 🙂

And by the way... Somalia? 🤦
Mark Lopez8 said:😁 Nice one, segregator. You're hitting the nail on the head with these posts. In any capitalist setup, the majority of people aren't doing well; it's just a handful of parasites exploiting the masses.
In America, this version of capitalism has turned out to be disastrous—just a rotten system by design. And once you add traitors in high places to the mix, you can't expect progress, just total decay. Most of my friends living abroad don't sit around praising capitalism either; that whole idea of a "better life in the West" is just a myth fed to people back home.

True enough—I've heard life is absolutely brutal in Scandinavia and the Benelux countries... 🙏

Honestly, those folks don't even realize how tough things actually are—maybe someone should go enlighten them... 🙏

(Now I'm just sitting here waiting for you to explain how life is supposedly "struggling" in places where over 60% of the population is solid middle class—by their own standards, anyway—and how everyone is being exploited and left with nothing...)

Human life is sacred. Human life holds more value than any animal. The life of a single serial killer outweighs the lives of every dog currently existing on this planet.

There are no moral dilemmas here. Animals are primitive tools and resources utilized by humans to satisfy their own needs—including the needs of lonely individuals seeking emotional companionship. To even attempt to draw a pseudo-nationalist parallel between the hierarchy of human value and our relationship with animals is nothing short of perverse.

I wouldn't say that's quite right—we all make distinctions constantly, which is just part of being human...
You can't honestly claim that "every single life is equal" if you’d choose your own mother over some stranger in an instant—it just doesn't hold up. To you, she matters more, which means they aren't all weighted the same... For me, my dog is more important than some random guy halfway across the globe—he's part of my life, after all. Nobody in this world lives without those kinds of priorities... 🤷

I don't know—I could probably list at least ten people right now who wouldn't just save them, but would actually set those hundred dogs loose on them instead...😁
Michael Collins76 said:I honestly thought I was talking to some modern-day Madame Bovary. I raise pigs, so I figured we were basically on the same level.

And since they already owned the dogs and this happened by accident, they should just be crucified now?
Besides, I'm not here playing trivia games.

I'm not that kind of guy (a Dalmatian).
And just so we're clear, humans didn't create dogs—dogs approached humans first, purely for their own benefit.
You shouldn't break laws; you should fight against things that are broken. No law is handed down from God; humans write them, and humans are naturally prone to making mistakes. Laws can change, too. That won't be the first or last time.

You're comparing apples to oranges here. People and animals aren't the same thing.

I don't really care if I'm "civilized" if a grizzly bear decides to eat me, I guess. 😕
Do you eat bacon and lamb in a "civilized" way?

If I had to choose between 100 dogs and one person, I'd probably save the person.

Thank God if that's the case. Means there might actually be some smart people left in this world. ☕

But what if that person happens to be a politician? 😬

To ensure society actually progresses—and stays civilized—we have to establish rules for coexistence. Animal regulations fall right into that category—just like HOA rules or traffic laws out on the highway.
We moved past the "do whatever you want" phase of civilization a long time ago. If you decide to keep animals, the responsibility for managing their breeding lies with you—much like making sure your sheep aren't wandering through a downtown plaza. It's far too easy to just let them multiply uncontrollably and then expect someone else to deal with the fallout. As if I'd want to be stuck fixing fences or cleaning up after them, too...☕
