I'm feeling sick/nauseous

Maybe try wearing some looser clothes in darker shades? It might help.

Kimberly Wright said:so, here is something I’ve noticed about pretty much everyone I know who has tried all those different fad diets...
everyone seems to look at dieting like it's just some miserable sentence they have to serve, you know? Like they're just suffering through it so they can hit some specific number on the scale at the end.
but honestly, what happens after that? 😕
are you just gonna go right back to being a total couch potato and stuffing your face with nothing but junk food?
I mean, okay... if your goal is to drop weight just to pack it all right back on later, then sure, maybe that's a fine plan.
But personally, I wouldn't do it that way.
What I would do is start eating like someone who is actually at a healthy weight for their height. I don't really get into the whole calorie counting thing, but I guess it's pretty easy enough to figure out. That way, I wouldn't be starving myself or totally wrecking my digestion, but there would still definitely be a deficit compared to how much I was eating before—which is what put me 65 pounds over where I want to be—so the weight would just slowly start melting off. And since I really don't want to turn into a walking pile of muscle atrophy, I’d change my habits and pick up some kind of sport (you could dream big here!) but at an intensity that actually fits my life—forever. Not like, "oh, I'm going to hit the gym every single day for five months and then immediately turn back into a literal log" type of deal. 😬
Anyway, I guess I'm just rambling a bit here because it just popped into my head.

Like, I'll blast some techno or reggaeton and just jump around my apartment like crazy ;P And, you know, sweating like a total maniac—does that count for anything? ;P

I guess when you're first starting a calorie deficit, if you’ve been overeating lately, your stomach always feels totally empty. It's like this constant hollow feeling until you finally get used to it, I suppose.
Speaking from my own experience, things actually go way smoother and faster if you don't overdo it at dinner, even if it's a lighter meal. Eating a massive feast late at night isn't really a solution at all. A small meal is definitely better.
quietpilot87 said:I mean, having a slightly empty stomach at night isn't necessarily a bad thing—you know, maybe grab a tiny snack just so you don't feel totally miserable—but basically, you should probably head to bed on an empty stomach.
Christian Ramirez67 said:So, I’m really curious to hear from the gym rats here—you know, people who actually live in the weight room and obsess over their macros. Is it even remotely possible to pull off a physique like Alistair Overeem without touching steroids, hormones, or any of that stuff? Like, could you just hit it with clean eating and protein supplements and get there?

Man, looking at this, you can see such huge progress over a three or four-year span... I mean, if someone really commits to the grind, hits the gym hard, cleans up their diet, and grabs all the right supplements... I don't know, maybe it's possible within a 3-4 year window? I guess. Though, let's be real, Alistair is probably loaded with illegal stuff, but he did mention himself that he totally overhauled his diet and started eating massive amounts of beef and everything else...

fadedrider17 said:So, I’ve got a question for you guys.
I was browsing that fitness forum—you know the one—and it seems like everyone there just assumes you *have* to slam some whey right after a workout. But we were talking about this here before, how you don't actually need protein supplements to see results. This guy on the forum keeps pushing some extreme brand, and apparently, a 500-gram tub of that stuff costs about $47. At that rate, it would only last me maybe 8 days. And honestly, I just don't have that kind of cash lying around.

Hey there! So, I was just sitting here thinking about overboostmax... and man, where do I even start? It’s kind of a lot to wrap my head around, I guess! Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but I feel like there's so much more to the story than what we usually see on the surface. It’s funny, actually—it reminds me a bit of when you’re trying to navigate through heavy traffic in downtown Chicago during rush hour, you know? Just one thing after another, and you're constantly trying to adjust, trying to find that perfect rhythm, but everything just feels a little bit chaotic! I mean, I really think there's a certain energy there, an intensity that's hard to ignore, if you catch my drift. It’s almost like that feeling you get right before a massive thunderstorm hits the Midwest—that weird, electric tension in the air where everything feels poised for something big to happen. Anyway, I don't know! I might be rambling. I just find myself getting really animated whenever this topic comes up because it feels so vital, so... present? I guess what I'm trying to say is that there's a real depth here that deserves a bit more attention, don't you think? I'd love to hear what everyone else is feeling about it too! Might be totally off base, but I'm curious! kaže:
I mean, what is even the point of all that chemistry stuff anyway...? I guess there's a reason, maybe, but I just don't see it!
I mean, if you aren't a literal pro athlete, I just don't see the point, honestly! Like, what's even the goal there? I guess maybe it's fun for some people, but if you aren't playing at that elite level, I really don't see the purpose behind it all.🤷
Man, you really puff up like crazy when you're slamming protein shakes, right? But then the second you stop? Everything just kind of... deflates. I guess you end up looking all soft and bloated, almost like a balloon losing its air. It’s wild! 🙄
Anyway, you should really look into testicular cancer... seriously, just go ask around or do some reading about it.
So, I know this one guy—just a buddy of mine—and he actually ended up getting diagnosed with cancer. It was heavy stuff, you know? But the first thing his doctor even asked him... man, I don't know if I should even say this, but it was just so unexpected.😳So, I'm an athlete—well, I try to be! And honestly, I guess I do take some protein? Maybe? I mean, I wouldn't say I'm obsessed or anything, but yeah, I definitely use it. It helps a bit, I think!
I mean, I really feel like if it isn't natural, then it just isn't right. It’s kind of my whole philosophy, I guess! Like, there's just something about things being authentic and raw that hits different, you know? If it feels forced or artificial, it just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe I'm being a bit old-fashioned, but I truly believe that anything unnatural just... isn't good. It’s just how I see it!
Is it actually normal to suddenly pack on the pounds like that? I mean, I guess it could happen, right? Maybe? It feels kind of weird when the scale just jumps up out of nowhere, doesn't it? I'm not an expert or anything, but it definitely catches you off guard!
Hey there! How's it going?

ambermaker37 said:thanks, man! where can I actually pick up some of those mass gainers, and what's the damage to my wallet?
I keep hearing that some specific whey powder is supposed to be the absolute best, but honestly, I'm still such a newbie at this whole thing, so I really don't know...🤷
Nicholas Kern90 said:For me, pull-ups and military presses are pretty much in the same ballpark.
The real kicker is that you really shouldn't have huge gaps between your agonist and antagonist muscle groups, I guess.
gentlefalcon43 said:Thanks! But I usually just stick to whey protein... can I just mix some glucose into my water instead? Like, if I have about 8 ounces of water, how much glucose should I toss in there?
