Refugees certainly have the right to enter the first safe country they reach. I'd love an explanation as to why Turkey isn't considered a safe country, for instance, for Christians, so that anyone needing to continue their journey away from an unsafe Turkey could move forward.
I still stand by my position that I don't support any kind of discrimination among immigrants on any basis whatsoever.

Look, sure, Turkey is absolutely overwhelmed with refugees, but you've got Jordan and Lebanon in the mix too. Besides, refugees could just as easily seek asylum in Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, or even Russia.

The people landing in Greece and Europe? They're migrants. Period. End of discussion.

Migrants are just going to pile up in Greece. At any given moment, the Greeks could move 100,000 people right up to the Mexican border. If even 1,000 of them have stones and start throwing them at the police... what then? If just one person shows up with a gun and fires at a Mexican officer, what happens next?

Look, this whole thing has to hit a breaking point eventually. But you're right—they aren't going to just pack up and head home voluntarily. Think about it: do you really want people in your life who are nothing but jealous? People who constanty whine without any actual reason? Or those who might try, but can't wrap their heads around what you're saying, so they shut you down with condescending lines like "you're acting too smart" or "stop philosophizing"? Why deal with people who tell you something great is actually bad? Or the types you realize—maybe you knew all along—are constantly breathing down your neck, but you tolerated them because you were being naive and "kind." Think about the people who leave you feeling drained and miserable, even if you couldn't quite put your finger on why. Maybe you did know, but you were too scared to admit it. Get rid of them. Get rid of the envious looks, the shallow minds, the pathetic losers... that whole toxic byproduct of human misery. Kick that garbage out of your life and leave it where it belongs: in the trash. It has no business being near us. Honestly, as much as I'm pissed off, exhausted, and drowning in negativity right now, I'm actually grateful for the trash. Because it's only by dealing with bottom-feeders like that that you actually learn what a decent human being looks like.
