It’s practically a sin to overlook a total heavyweight like Terrorizer. Seriously, Dave Lombardo is easily one of the most elite drummers out there. 🙏
I caught a story once where his bandmates played some recording for him—just a drum machine cranking away—and messed with him by claiming some random kid somewhere was playing even faster than that. They were basically trolling him, saying he couldn't keep up with this new prodigy. lol. Well, the guy didn't just take it; he locked himself in a practice room for a couple of weeks until he could tear through that exact same tempo even faster than the damn machine 😁. Absolute legend.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well, damn.
Anyway, I went through all the links provided and noticed nobody actually dropped these absolute monsters. So, here you go:🙂 The Berzerker
Caught this one yesterday—all things considered, it was an engaging watch and, above all, genuinely fun. The ending felt a bit rushed to me, almost like they just cut to black before things could breathe, but overall, it holds up. Bradley Cooper is definitely cool; you can see him maturing as an actor, and I honestly think he’s got the potential to become even more respected and top-tier down the road. Robert De Niro, on the other hand, was pretty dull—just playing it safe with those same old plastic facial expressions he’s been using in almost everything lately. It feels like he plays the exact same character regardless of the script. Luckily, he doesn't have much screen time, which is a massive silver lining.
Right now, Moonsorrow is sitting at the very top of my list. They’re actually playing Lollapalooza this year—so, if everything lines up, I’m really hoping I can swing by and catch them for at least that one day. 🙂
🤣🤣 Honestly, one of the absolute biggest loads of nonsense I’ve had the misfortune of hearing lately—and I mean this with all due respect to the sheer absurdity of it—is this idea of a "new genre." 😂
What kind of massive, limp-dicked joke is this movie, considering it didn't even make its way to an AMC Theatres in the end?
At least it wasn't showing in Cleveland—and it was hyped up like crazy, too. To hell with them and their theaters; I was genuinely pumped to catch this on the big screen.
Most American movies—regardless of genre—outclass most European (or any other) films by lightyears when it comes to quality and all the metrics used to judge them.
Europeans will never be able to produce films like The Matrix or die hard 4. They are too preoccupied with being pretentious and self-indulgent, making movies solely for the sake of "art." They make those types of films meant for various festivals that indie crowds love to obsess over. But a movie isn't JUST art—it's much more than that. Americans get that, Europeans don't, while Asians seem to sit somewhere in the middle.
That's it. From A to Z. Z. Amen. My only caveat regarding the concept of Europe is that I would pull the English out of that group entirely. I'd make a distinction: English-language films versus "European" films. Including the English in that "European" category feels wrong to me—they deserve better status than that.
Kate Torres said:I’m not going to sit here and claim that the visual style in American films is inherently better than what you see in Europe. Honestly, certain European and Asian films have much more stunning cinematography than mainstream American movies, where the camera work feels uninspired and looks exactly the same in every single production. It's nothing special. ☕
You really are something else, 😂—honestly, I’d go as far as calling you the court jester of this subforum. 🙏 😉
I watched the first one and thought it was great. Everyone says the sequel is the best and the third one is total trash. As for the fourth... I haven't seen it yet. But if it's got a 7.0 on IMDb, it's probably worth a watch...

Personally, I think they're fantastic—tracks like Rock the Night, Talk to Me, Carrie, Prisoners in Paradise, and Countdown are nothing short of phenomenal in my book. Granted, they aren't quite the juggernaut they used to be back in the day (though even their Secret Society album from a year ago isn't half bad, especially songs like Always the Pretenders and Devil Sings the Blues), but they were easily one of the premier rock bands of the '80s. For that reason alone, I believe they deserve a seat at the table on this forum.👍
Jerry Martin19 said:ratings are just one component of criticism, not the review itself.🙂
Every single viewer acts as a critic—effectively judging the film by default—and from that standpoint, they are all potential reviewers. That’s nonsense. 🙂
Jeffrey Young66 said:One of my absolute favorite actors—someone who could manage to be both incredibly irritating and genuinely terrifying through his villainous roles—is Henricksen. He just has this innate ability to play those arrogant, violent, and raw characters who seem to have one single mission: to completely wreck you just by showing up on screen. I can't seem to find a photo of him right now, but if anyone has one, please post it so people can see what I mean. He’s easily my number one, though it's a shame we don't see him on screen much anymore. Another legend is Gary Busey. With that grin of his, he actually makes you want to reach out and mess with him just to see how he reacts. I don't have a photo for him either, so if you've got one, drop it in. You'll quickly see why these two are true masters of the craft.
