Healthy body, healthy mind in Spirituality ·
I mean, honestly... given my age, I’d say I look pretty decent. I’m certainly not sick, and I’m definitely not some demon out of a horror movie 😁

So, clearly... something just doesn't add up here 😈
Healthy body, healthy mind in Spirituality ·
I hit the bench press two to three times a week now... and honestly, this recent streak of getting my permits sorted has actually caused me to cut back on the beer consumption. Consequently, I've seen a drastic reduction in what one might call a "beer belly."

Let’s be real: you can't achieve true spirituality without a healthy body. It’s frankly depressing—and frankly hilarious—to attempt any kind of demon summoning when you’re either shaped like a barrel or looking like a walking skeleton. It’s nothing short of a comedy routine.

Personal growth is everything.😎

Besides... if you have zero desire to evolve, why are you even bothering to exist?

Do us all a favor: go find a skyscraper and jump off it so the rest of us who actually want to live can breathe easier.🙂

So, what we have here is "the great Baphomet" essentially telling us to toss the Bible aside.
Because if you actually bother to read the Bible, it clearly states:
(John's Gospel)
9.10. Pilate said to him, "Don't you have anything to say? Don't you realize I have the power to crucify you, and also the power to let you go?"
19.11. Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me at all unless it had been given to you from above..."

To put it bluntly: ...unless it had been given to you FROM ABOVE...

I never suggested that there isn't an "ABOVE," nor did I claim that "the ABOVE" doesn't exist; my point was simply to set that aside for a moment to focus on individual growth.

As for those powers UP THERE—whether they exist or not is irrelevant right now; they will intervene when, and if, it becomes necessary.

Hmm... perhaps you should look into some anti-clotting medication... since you were just rambling on about those damn orderlies earlier. 😁

Look, let's be real: the intelligent crowd has never been the majority.

So, we have a man emerging from the shadows who genuinely believes he possesses the soul of a dragon, all while rubbing elbows with the vampire crowd. What exactly are we dealing with here? 😁

The Teacher would have probably smacked you upside the head right then and there, only to stun you with some nonsensical Zen riddle before shoving you straight into enlightenment—or, more accurately, a total shift in consciousness.

And if he wasn't in the right mood, he would have sent you off to scrub dishes instead of letting you sit there stealing precious moments just to stare at the clouds.

What am I supposed to do?? 🙂 🙏

Forget about Teachers and "the powers that be."

Just start doing the work.

You will become a vortex of pure energy.

You will begin to shape your own reality.

And perhaps in that reality, there might be room for a Teacher—or maybe not. Honestly, it doesn't even matter. The only thing that matters is you.

And let’s be clear: a corn vendor cannot be a Teacher, nor can the wind (whether we're talking about an air vortex or some biological byproduct)... because if they were, then a hammer you used to smash your finger, or a toilet brush, would also qualify as a Teacher.

I truly cannot wrap my head around the causes behind such an inflationary, diluted view of what a 'Teacher' actually is.

Ugh... honestly, it is far too easy to play the rebel when you’re a teenager and your parents are still footing the bill for your food and clothes, all while you're surrounded by a bunch of hormone-fueled peers.

True rebellion is something you have to maintain once you actually grow up.

My apologies, I missed that... but as I have already stated, there is no such thing as a moderate unknown; they are simply undercover flafonje. 😁

And if I recall correctly, there was a teaching suggesting that if you happen to encounter Buddha on your path, you should kill him.

The orthodox unknown 😈

To be honest, I find those old-school unknown far more tolerable than these supposedly "balanced" unknown. They're nothing more than traitors 😁

Joe said:Did anyone else catch that shot where Brad Pitt is standing there holding a sword, staring off into the distance with this intense, brooding look, while a commercial airliner just cruises right through the sky behind him? 😂

It’s an image that stuck with me for a reason. For some reason, it immediately brought the Walker Texas Ranger to mind... and ever since then, in my head, he's always been Achilles Walker The Ranger.

Tiamat said:Boring, boring, boring.

This is easily one of the most tedious movies I’ve sat through lately. Honestly, I cannot fathom how a film starring Brad Pitt in a skirt, featuring decent fight choreography and a halfway decent script, could be this incredibly DULL.

Look, I don't particularly care that they strayed from the actual mythology; fine, they wanted to make a "realistic" take without all the gods and whatnot... but the sheer amount of pro-American sentimentality, the "profound" dialogue, the forced "heart-wrenching" moments... It's horrible. A friend actually told me she was just waiting for someone to pull out an American flag and plant it in the ruins of Troy.

Not a single character was well-developed, with the sole exception of Hector. Achilles is a complete psycho, Agamemnon is nothing but a gluttonous pig, and Odysseus is reduced to his errand boy! Hey, Odysseus—the cleverest, sharpest man in all of Greece—is supposed to be a lackey?

I simply don't get it. How do you manage to produce something this uninspired? And that's saying something, because I wasn't even expecting much to begin with.

So... I watched it yesterday and didn't have the energy to write my own full critique, so I checked to see if anyone else felt the same way... and then I found 👍
Genetics vs. Spirituality: Can they coexist? in Spirituality ·
Well... since I am currently under the influence of a book I've been reading called 'The Selfish Gene,' I would argue that religion functions as one of the core components of an evolutionary stable strategy. Without this specific component, morality likely wouldn't exist, and without morality, the human species wouldn't be proliferating quite as aggressively as it does today.
This implies that much of our behavior is actually genetically conditioned.

But then again, who am I to say? I might just be talking nonsense here.

hollowviper72 said:I notice you’re still being suspiciously vague about what you actually believe regarding the nature of spirituality... 🙂

As I have already stated, I am currently re-evaluating the true essence of spirituality itself. The core concept exists, and the evidence is certainly there; the challenge lies in articulating it. My goal is to shape this into a coherent framework—one that provides actual, actionable guidance rather than the mere intellectual masturbation practiced by everyone else here.

Ref, you’re looking at penalty points, heavy fines, and straight-up disqualifications here... 😠

But what can you do? I’m just like Jesus... everyone seems to want to throw stones at me.

P.S. Honestly, I'm getting tired of picking up points this cheaply. 😁
