hollowviper72 said:By admitting you’ve even considered spirituality—and by extension, acknowledging you lack any concrete, unwavering convictions regarding it—you have effectively confessed that you aren't actually the one pulling all the strings.

I suppose I am simply too spiritually evolved to indulge in the ego-driven delusion of believing I am perfect... yet, here we are... others seem to have noticed.

Rachel Gonzalez7 said:Do you really consider it flattery when I suggest that, through the eyes of a complete idiot, you are actually the very embodiment of "Spirituality"?

A turd is a turd... regardless of whether a fool or a scholar is looking at it.

He went ahead and equated spiritual leaders with donkeys—which, by his own logic, means he’s lumped himself in there too—and reduced the very concept of spirituality to nothing more than a carrot on a stick. Honestly, I should take it as a compliment, considering he essentially identified me as the living embodiment of "Spirituality" itself.

Taking another look at this... I suppose I can claim another point here, because let's not forget: we are dealing with pure, unadulterated spiritual arrogance. 😁

Look, let's be clear about one thing... you have finally come to realize that you are being an absolute idiot. 😁

I think it’s fairly obvious to everyone here that the debate is over. Given that we are dealing with such profound spiritual arrogance—and considering the individual has gone so far as to compare himself to a donkey—I find myself at a loss for words. Truly, what could I possibly say that would further humble his "spiritual" ego?

🙂

It is an opportune moment for some debate... I find myself currently re-evaluating my own stances regarding the ultimate objective of "spirituality."

Upon reading the majority of these posts, one cannot help but get the impression that the sole aim here is to remain in a perpetual state of being "tripped out."

Well, excuse me... where exactly is this debate supposed to be happening?

Is this discussion confined strictly to this single thread, or is it being spread across our entire beautiful American spirituality community?

Hmm... interesting. I seem to be making a habit of drifting into these thread titles quite spontaneously, calmly, and without any hint of aggression.

But let’s get to the point... I used to spend my time summoning demons through a mirror, yet here they are, crawling out from every dark corner of the digital world.

Since my brain is currently short-circuiting from the sheer volume of books I've been devouring lately... perhaps I should opt for a beer-drinking contest instead? 😈

No? Ah, right... I forgot that you "spiritualists" tend to recoil at anything that might actually expose your true character.

P.S.

For those who find themselves confused (which happens frequently given my way of expressing myself), I have chosen spiritual arrogance.

P.P.S.

And please, spare me the unnecessary complexity in English. 😁

Well, I suppose that ultimately depends on your perspective regarding these experiments.

I have a personal rule about cleaning up my workspace before I invite anyone inside. There is something to be said for maintaining order in one's own domain.

befoodturntoshit said:[What are your thoughts on using various psychoactive substances (LSD, ecstasy, MDMA, marijuana, heroin, etc.) as tools for expanding one's spiritual horizons? Do you have any personal experiences with this? [/B]

I don't have any current plans to go down that path, but I certainly intend to conduct some experimentation myself—perhaps in a year or two. However, before I dive into that, I need to properly clean out my own mental closet to ensure no little demon-rats come scurrying out during the process.
What is the meaning of it all? in Philosophy ·
As far back as I can recall... the answer was 6 x 7.

Beyond that, most people simply find purpose within their own filth.
So, I’m putting this out there... since I clearly lack any semblance of enlightenment. 😉

Well? How did the party turn out?
Well... I have already touched upon this subject before, but let me summarize my thoughts briefly. The first installment is a masterpiece, the second is passable at best, and the third is absolute garbage.

To be fair, the third film actually boasts the strongest opening of the trilogy, matching the quality of the first part in terms of both intrigue and mysticism. Beyond that initial hook, however, the rest is largely rubbish, cluttered with an excessive amount of cheap one-liners.

If they had been smarter, they could have simply excised the first ten minutes, the fifteen-minute battle sequence, and the final ten minutes of Part III, then seamlessly grafted all of those segments onto the second film. That would have resulted in a truly great cinematic experience.

Empty or full... frankly, I couldn't care less.

So, I finally sat down and watched it a few days ago.

To be perfectly honest, the movie suffers from a handful of rather glaring plot holes—and believe me, I’m usually the type of viewer who doesn't even notice them. It feels a bit disjointed in places, too. However, given the current drought of actually decent films within this genre, I suppose it's an acceptable watch.
Shadow Falls in Movies ·
Well... I noticed there wasn't any discussion regarding this little film here.

I finally sat down and watched it yesterday. It’s a decent enough horror flick. Nothing groundbreaking, really, but it does have a few scenes that... well... let's just say those moments when you're lying in bed and feel something scurrying across the floor aren't exactly the worst. 😁
Are you living the dream? in Spirituality ·
I’ve been struggling with my recent tests lately, so I’m going to attempt to turn things around.😁

So, tell me: are you merely dreaming, or are you actually living?
I am living... though I certainly indulge in dreaming right before I drift off.

What do you occupy your time with when you aren't busy with your usual business?
I find myself watching Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z.

If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be?
Somewhere up in the mountains.

How are you feeling at this very moment?*
My head is spinning a little bit.

Are you pursuing your true passions, or are you simply drifting along, letting life carry you away while that constant refrain echoes in your mind: "I'll do it tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow..."?
Of course I am doing what I want... after all, what kind of existence would it even be if I weren't?

Do you even have a clear sense of what you want for yourself?
At times.

The reality is that this place is crawling with "lurkers." They are everywhere, yet they contribute absolutely nothing to the conversation. You have no idea how many people are just silently hovering over this thread, watching everything without saying a word.😈

Good grief... you’re even senile on top of everything else. Unbelievable. For those who need a reminder, allow me to quote your own words from a previous thread on this forum:

"Go ahead and check my horoscope (I won't give you my real name) but my birth date is December 24, 1983 at 1:25 PM (I think) in Washington, D.C.)"
