I once had someone incredibly close to me who fell deep into the grip of alcoholism... It was heartbreaking because, despite our best efforts—everything from intensive rehab programs to multiple hospital stays—they just couldn't seem to stay sober for more than a few months at a time. I recently laid them to rest.

I don't know... my skin and I just don't really get along. 😢
I've eventually figured out how to balance my routine so that my skin doesn't act up too much—while still making sure I don't smell bad, of course—so I don't think I actually need those super expensive luxury products.
Hannah Davis18 said:Scrubbing with just soap isn't quite the same thing. If you use an ultra-gentle cleanser, you won't have any issues with sensitive skin.
Well, if that's the case, I clearly have incredibly problematic skin then.😢>
Of course... I’m not suggesting you need to scrub down once a week—I wouldn't want anyone getting the wrong idea about that... That would be a little, erm, fragrant 🙂
I am simply stating what I know to be true, based on my own experience dealing with sensitive skin and following the advice of my doctor... You really shouldn't be scrubbing your entire body with soap every single day.

I’d say every four or five days—though some people claim once a week is plenty.
Yeah, I have to agree... all this talk about body odor is complete nonsense. If you aren't engaging in grueling physical labor—and if you’re staying on top of basic hygiene like washing your feet, armpits, and groin—a person can easily go several days without being unpleasant to those around them.
Karen Brooks said:I’d actually argue that’s a benefit rather than a drawback.
It really isn't... see, that dead layer of skin acts as a protective barrier for the living tissue underneath—so, naturally, it's probably not the best idea to strip it away too frequently.
Sophia Martinez65 said:Look, nobody has ever actually dropped dead from taking a shower or soaking in a bathtub...
But let’s be real—plenty of people have ended up at the dermatologist dealing with some seriously nasty rashes, skin irritations, lichenification, and all sorts of other bullshit.
There’s a certain logic to it... If you scrub too aggressively, you end up stripping away the dead skin cells along with the natural oils your skin produces to protect itself—leaving your skin vulnerable to bacteria and physical irritation. That’s why I’d suggest a deep, thorough soak in the tub shouldn't be happening more than once a week.
Of course, a quick rinse in the shower is perfectly fine in between, but making a habit of scrubbing your skin raw every single day just isn't healthy.

To be honest, not really. I remember one time I just typed in a list of albums and left my computer running overnight—thinking everything would be ready by morning. Well, when I woke up, everything was only about halfway downloaded, and the users I was grabbing them from had completely vanished from the network. I spent two days waiting, hoping they’d pop back online so the transfers would resume... but nothing happened. Eventually, I tracked down those same albums under slightly different filenames, which allowed me to finally finish the job by manually picking through the files that hadn't finished yet.
I might have missed something obvious here, but it feels like you really have to mess around with BitTorrent quite a bit before you run into issues downloading things that are actually rare.
I’ve been using eMule lately, and honestly, I couldn't be happier with it.
I’ve managed to track down files that I just haven't been able to find anywhere else.
In my opinion, it holds a massive advantage over BitTorrent—you can just put together a queue of 200 different items and let the computer churn through them slowly for a few weeks (or even a couple of months). It's pretty much the perfect setup if you're lucky enough to have an unlimited high-speed data plan.
For the last few days, I've been getting this "slight problem with the forum database" error message whenever I try to log in to the US site. I noticed that the usernames under the "last post" section are actually updating correctly—which tells me the issue isn't necessarily with the server itself. It’s left me wondering what exactly is going on behind the scenes, and if there's any hope that someone might actually look into fixing this.
Look... you’re saying you haven't slept—which means your brain is basically swimming in toxins—plus you're hungry, so your brain isn't getting the fuel it needs, and then there's the likelihood that you're jumping up too quickly to hit the bathroom, which can cause a momentary drop in oxygen to the brain... Honestly, the only thing I find strange about all this is that you haven't actually passed out cold several times already...
Try eating a little something sweet for a quick sugar boost, get some decent sleep, and I think you should be fine.
