No, Ashley. I didn't say the mod is bad, just that they haven't actually started working. New threads are a reflection of how a moderator operates. I started two new threads and asked if you were okay with how they were being moderated. Silence. 😬

I also provided solutions:
1. Stop the constant attacks in the chat room
2. Moderate new threads properly
3. Gradually steer old threads back on track

What exactly about those suggestions isn't constructive?

I sign off on everything said here.

The way they’re picking new moderators is definitely problematic. It feels like they're just looking for people who act exactly like them.

I'd like someone to point out exactly where we insulted the moderator, or where any of us said they should be removed or that their time shouldn't be given.

Richard Nelson84, you really stepped up your discipline once you took over moderation. Before that, we had those GIFs enabled for an entire year. That loophole is exactly why that 18+ PDF was even able to get posted. I’ll never understand why everyone just moved on from it. The explanations never added up, so honestly, I'm leaning toward believing this was your doing.

Look, please don't just go around reporting things blindly. What am I supposed to do, report 10,000 posts? Go take a look at the threads. They aren't even opened properly. Would you have left those kinds of threads open? And what is the point of having the PZK if we’re expected to report every single one of those 10,000 posts individually? 🤷

You're totally missing the point here. No matter how much you or anyone else thinks a moderator is acting on a whim, that's just not true. I didn't write the rules; someone else did. I just enforced them. And one of those rules was very clear: explicit GIFs were strictly prohibited.

Speaking as both a former moderator and a regularforum member, I can tell you that reporting posts actually carries a lot of weight. Plus, if that doesn't work, you always have PZK to flag the issue.

It all kicked off because someone was trying to test out how strict things are using GIFs. It’s not even about the GIFs themselves—it’s more about the principle of the thing. But hey, if the admins decide GIFs are banned (even though they weren't an issue just a little while ago), then fine, no GIFs. Period.

Honestly, my time spent having actual, constructive debates on this forum is pretty much over—mostly because there are so few people left here I can actually have a decent conversation with.
Every single thread gets absolutely spammed with trolls, hate speech, and xenophobia almost immediately... it's just exhausting. And the constant fighting? Man, it wears me down, I just don't have the energy for it anymore. I'd much rather just hop into a chat room, hash things out properly, and move on with my day.

If I could say one thing to the moderator, it would be to maybe tighten up the discipline a bit. Like, maybe steer the good discussions back on track and just shut down those vague, repetitive threads right at the start.
Maybe then the whole place might actually breathe enough for someone to *want* to write something meaningful again. Until then, I'll pass.

Anyway, that's my two cents. I'm done with this thread.

Explicit GIFs have never been allowed on this forum. We dealt with that exact same issue back when I was a moderator.

I've got plans with my crew again! 🙂

Honestly, there’s no point in just suggesting someone for moderator. Why bother? Just pull up the forum archives and spend a week reading through everything. You'll see exactly who actually has the potential to step up. Give them a shot, watch how they handle things, offer some guidance, and lend a hand when needed. If they don't show any progress, move on and find someone else. It’s really not rocket science! 🤷

It makes zero sense to let forum members nominate moderators. If we actually started picking mods based on user suggestions, you’d just end up right back here in the PZK or the ban corner, complaining that the new mod is biased and only looking out for the people who voted them in!

Let’s be real: managing this forum isn't exactly a walk in the park. A new moderator needs some breathing room to find their footing. If we can give a new administration or the President a 100-day grace period to settle in, we can certainly afford to give our new moderator the same courtesy! 😬

If you want this forum to actually stay moderated properly, start reporting every single controversial post you see. That is hands down the best way to make it happen!

They aren't going anywhere. It has never happened.
The only case I know of is when one stepped down and retreated into his cave after being buried under solid arguments, and he hasn't moderated in ages. 😁

Clearly, you haven't been on this Forum long enough. Moderators don't have immunity, and they certainly can't just do whatever they want.

Meh, sometimes fellow moderators are actually tougher critics than the average users. Criticizing how a moderator works is totally legitimate, but anyone who sees both sides knows that moderators don't have free rein to act out. Once Nica catches you, it's game over. 😒

The issue is partly that regular users don't actually know what moderation looks like because they don't see the backend. If they had that insight, they'd see that moderators try their hardest to keep discussions high-quality and minimize sanctions. Unfortunately, there are small groups of users who love breaking the rules and playing the victim, 😒which creates the false impression that moderators are just picking on people.

Be glad we even have moderators! Otherwise, this Forum would turn into the kind of comment section you find under every article on USA Today. 🤣

We shouldn't have one of our most active subforums (and its associated PDF) being moderated by just one guy who also happens to moderate other sections here, if I'm not mistaken.
It’s a bit sad to be stuck working all alone in the office.😬

It hit me the other day that he's flying solo, while even Trash (probably the least active PDF around here) has two mods. 🕺

That is truly wise advice. 🙂 I am all in on this suggestion! ☕
A deep dive into attraction to trans people in Psychology ·
Jacob Miller4 said:Thanks, Eugene, for the great contribution to this discussion and for sharing that excellent article. 🙏
I haven't had a chance to sit down and read the whole thing yet, but just from a quick glance at existing research, it seems my gut feeling was right: sexual attraction toward trans individuals is primarily driven by straight men. It’s not even necessarily bisexual men, since they're attracted to both sexes generally, rather than specifically to the unique hybridity found here. Older studies still suggest that this attraction in straight men is often linked to a subconscious desire to project themselves into the female gender—something that ties back pretty closely to cross-dressing tendencies.
I'll check back in once I've actually finished reading.

That’s a perfectly logical way to look at it! Think about it: if a straight guy dates a trans woman and they break up, what’s more likely? That he starts dating gay men, or that he keeps dating women, whether they're cis or trans? ☕

It's definitely the latter.

Fascinating.

Betty Fowler said:Not necessarily. Pornography addicts tend to bounce from one genre to the next, often chasing the next hit until they find themselves drawn to something like trans women just to feel anything at all.

I can't say I agree with that. If I were to view an attraction to trans people as a sexual orientation, I’d categorize it under bisexuality. In my opinion, though, it's primarily a fetish.

So, we're talking about a man who lacks that specific anatomical feature and basically presents as a woman.
Can a trans woman actually have a vagina? From a biological standpoint, what’s being created is an imitation—essentially just a surgical opening that lacks the fundamental internal components and the actual physiological functionality of a natural vagina.

Sure. But that pull toward certain characteristics exists for a reason—it's all driven by sexual reproduction. When a trans person presents as a woman, it’s a bit like a civilian putting on a police officer's uniform. A police officer has a specific function, just as men and women have their own distinct roles to play.

It’s not just about being a man; it’s about someone putting in the work to present as a woman—though, depending on the individual, the results can vary quite a bit.

It’s worth it, simply because I said so. principles It’s essentially the same thing. It all comes down to how the brain processes sensory input from its surroundings.
It’s a simple comparison: one scenario involves an exchange of traits between species, while the other involves an exchange between genders. In the first instance, we see animals exhibiting human characteristics, which leads us to categorize them as humans. In the second, we see men displaying feminine traits, which results in them being categorized as women. Does that distinction make sense?

Richard Nelson84 As I was saying:
It really just comes down to sexual preference. Some men are simply going to be attracted to trans women, and that’s that. There isn't much more to it than that, is there? It’s nothing out of the ordinary. ☕

Is there actually any man out there who finds himself attracted to trans women, yet feels absolutely nothing for biological women?

My bad, I misspoke earlier. I meant to say "attraction to the opposite sex," not the same sex.
But here’s the real question: you posted a photo of a bald "man" the other day, but it turns out they're actually a trans person.
Does that person still appeal to you, knowing they are biologically female?

PS. We've all pretty much figured out you're gay—your avatar and bio make it pretty obvious.

But what percentage of men actually develop an attraction to trans women that way?

It's probably a tiny fraction. It's more likely that they are intuitively attracted to them in the first place, and the fact that this content is so easy to find online simply makes things easier when there isn't much real-life availability.

*Just a side note: watching trans porn doesn't automatically make someone a porn addict.

I have to disagree there. Just look at my response to Jacob Miller4 above. Men who date trans women aren't likely going to start dating gay men; they're going to keep dating women (whether trans or cis).

Biologically speaking, it’s pretty straightforward: a trans woman is still male, regardless of whether she uses hormone therapy or undergoes surgery. That's just the reality of it.

Look, you can't honestly claim this is just about one more man. The average guy doesn't have any desire to live as "the other gender."

Of course they exist! And look, dating a trans woman doesn't mean a guy suddenly loses all attraction to cis women. It’s not an "either-or" situation. I was actually watching some videos about trans women the other day. When asked about their dating history, a huge number of them said their partners were almost always cis women before them. Even when those relationships ended, they went right back to dating cis women. It's that simple!

The answer to the question you’re asking is already obvious—or at least, it used to be an open secret. When we're talking about homosexuality, it's pretty straightforward. What man could possibly be attracted to other men when women are such incredible creatures? 🙂

Well, he's clearly the smart one! 🧐

It’s hard to say for sure. My general take? I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe no. Physically speaking, this guy isn't bad looking, but I have a feeling my lady parts would be... Shut it down! Just turn it off already. Why does it feel like all the good men have vaginas? 🙂

Donna White50 said:All these new theories about sexuality they're trying to push through those super liberal circles lately... it's interesting, I guess. But honestly, you can't just shift your orientation around on a scale like that—you're born a certain way and that’s pretty much set in stone. I mean, if someone suddenly finds themselves into certain homoerotic fetishes during a specific phase of life, it doesn't mean they "changed"... it just means those feelings were always there, lurking in the background, just waiting for the right moment to surface once they finally saw something that clicked... turns out it was just suppressed all along...
You’ve got it all wrong... Let me give you a real-world example—would an American guy under 50 actually be interested in a woman who's basically been completely reshaped by plastic surgery? Probably not. It's not just about being "attractive"—it's that those looks usually deviate so far from what's traditionally considered sexually appealing. But look at the reality today—men are constantly consuming content featuring women like that. There's been this massive shift in how we perceive sexuality and what counts as "hot." It’s the exact same thing when you look at homosexuality or being transgender. People have this inherent curiosity, right? They're open to new experiences, and if they find pleasure and satisfaction through those avenues, sexuality is naturally going to gravitate toward whatever provides that gratification... it's how that drive gets satisfied. It happens all the time—people develop specific fetishes just by being exposed to certain types of media that are marketed as being sexually enticing. Transgender individuals often work really hard to emulate that hyper-feminine, eroticized ideal because they know it grabs attention—it taps into that curiosity and drives more liberal, experimental people to take action...

I don't get why some straight guys act like seeing a dick between someone else's legs is such a huge deal—regardless of how great the boobs or the ass might look... I mean, honestly, that kind of reaction doesn't exactly scream "straight" to me. Sure, someone can be super attractive right up until the moment a guy realizes what's actually going on down there. But let’s be real—if you take the penis out of the equation, that person probably has a much better shot with a curious guy. Like I was saying, people eventually get used to anything, especially if it's wrapped up in something erotic and visually appealing...

Is there any chance a straight guy ends up with a trans person? Sure, there’s always a chance—just like how even a mentally healthy person can spiral into depression, or how someone who's had a few too many drinks might do something they normally wouldn't, or how a guy driven by pure impulse might just take whatever opportunity comes his way... at the end of the day, exceptions just prove the rule, right? And honestly, this whole idea that attraction is some rigid thing is kind of silly. We get drawn to people for all sorts of reasons that don't always have anything to do with gender—sometimes it's because they're gorgeous, powerful, successful, or just famous... though, I guess actually sleeping with them is a different story altogether...

It’s actually pretty easy to wrap your head around. When you look at homosexuality—and by extension, trans identity and attraction—social perception plays a massive role. You can't honestly expect men to feel comfortable dating trans women or gay men if they're living in a super conservative environment. So, that phenomenon is really just a reflection of the culture around them! I'm just getting started! It's all about that late bloom. Life moves fast, but I'm moving at my own pace. Everything happens exactly when it's supposed to. Stay positive! It’s actually not that hard to wrap your head around!

We get drawn to people for all sorts of reasons that don't always have anything to do with gender—sometimes it's because they're gorgeous, powerful, successful, or just famous... though, I guess actually sleeping with them is a different story altogether...

That is completely wrong. You can't just present that as a fact. You don't have any data to back this up, and you aren't going to get any. Look, I didn't even ask and frankly, I don't care, but I'm pretty sure guys today are still drooling over natural women.

Donna White50 said:All these new theories about sexuality they're trying to push through those super liberal circles lately... it's interesting, I guess.

Trans women aren't just imitating cisgender women to please men. It’s not about that at all! Their desire to live in their true gender comes from deep within themselves. It's an internal drive, not something fueled by men.

Trans women can be lesbians too, so that whole argument just falls apart immediately!

No guy who is into trans women is going to look at them and see a man. It doesn't matter if she has a penis or not. I totally disagree with the idea that this is just about "curious" men. Men who date trans women aren't dating men; they are dating women.

There is a wise saying:

Dating a trans woman is not the gayest thing in the world. It's also not the straightest. 🧐

Look, I've definitely been turned on by a few trans women myself, but I ended up suppressing those urges because—well, let's just say the pressure to conform to what "normal" American men are supposed to be is pretty intense.

But, uh, hey... I wasn't exactly asking for a breakdown of whether they were feminine-leaning or masculine-leaning...
Honestly, it doesn't matter much to me at this point... 🎉

Am I... am I messed up?

Of course you're sick. Normal men only date other men. ☕

I honestly feel like I’ve learned a ton about sexuality just through my own life experiences—thank God for that, really, even if some parts were pretty rough to deal with at the time... In my previous post, I laid out what I believe drives our sexual preferences. And look, I stand by that. What I don't buy is the idea that someone can live their entire life as strictly heterosexual and then suddenly wake up one day as homosexual. Or vice versa. It just doesn't work like that. My take? Either they weren't fully aware of that other side of their sexuality, or they were actively pushing it down.

It’s the exact same deal when it comes to attraction toward trans people. The stigma surrounding the trans community is way more intense than what gay men face. Just imagine how many guys will actually feel brave enough to explore that side of their sexuality. There won't be many, right?

I see this same argument popping up over and over in different threads. Is it really that hard to wrap your head around? Some men are attracted to trans women, and it’s just that. It doesn't mean it's turned into some weird fetish or some "deviant" way of being sexual. It's just attraction!

If a trans woman is upfront about who she is from the very beginning, I actually think that’s an advantage for building a relationship. It lets the man decide right away if he wants to get involved or not.

No man is going to think, hey, you're a guy instead he's thinking, hey, you used to be a guy. Depending on how things are handled, that's how the relationship will go.

You can't just generalize your own view to every single man out there. Not everyone thinks like you do. Since trans people make up such a tiny fraction of the population, there's likely a similarly small group of straight men who find themselves attracted to trans women.

I personally think there is no difference at the core of sexuality; it’s just that these straight men who find themselves attracted to trans women were "led" there.
No one is born with an attraction to trans people, just like no one is born with a fetish for latex, femdom, or Japanese teenagers in school uniforms. We attach emotions—desires for dominance, humiliation, fear, and so on—along with social norms and roles to the object of our desire. For instance, if a woman is the object of your lust and you have a desire to be dominated, you might pull the concept of authority from your surroundings—like a female CEO at a Fortune 500 company—and pair that with a specific style of dress or a certain dominant body language, then link all of that to the woman.

Our way of thinking is incredibly binary. When we strip away all the individual characteristics that differentiate a man from a woman, if a trans "woman" possesses the majority of feminine traits (breasts, narrow hips, slender shoulders, a soft face), then our brains register that person as a woman, regardless of having a penis. It’s the same principle as watching an animated movie where animals talk; we recognize them as humans even though they look like pigs.
By linking various concepts to the object of our desire in this way, people can end up being attracted to all sorts of things.
Pornography addiction is a major factor here. A couple of years ago, I was reading discussions on international forums from people going through "recovery" processes. I saw stories from guys who claimed they were entirely heterosexual and had been attracted to women their whole lives, yet over the years they drifted from one fetish to the next until they ended up watching gay content. It's quite shocking.
That said, there is a line between porn and real life. What excites someone on a screen doesn't necessarily translate to what excites them in reality.

Of course not. I doubt anyone ever said it was enough to just have a vagina.

Yeah.

Why is it such a mistake to view transgender people solely through the lens of their sex assigned at birth?

The idea of a "male brain" versus a "female brain" is largely a myth. On average, certain regions might show slightly higher activity levels in one sex compared to the other, sure, but does the activity of a specific brain region actually dictate someone's gender? Not really. A woman can be dominant and still be a woman. She can love football and grab a beer and still be a woman. She can be aggressive, or she can be attracted to women, and all of that is perfectly compatible with being a woman. Is it really that complicated?

Whether someone is drawn to people who are curvy, thin, blonde, or brunette—that shouldn't be categorized under sexual orientation.
There is attraction toward the opposite sex, the same sex, or both. To me, being attracted to trans women is essentially an optical illusion that some people fall for, which is why I’d categorize it as being attracted to the same sex. Of course, this doesn't mean trans individuals are "real" women; it just means they mimic feminine traits closely enough that our brains register them as such.

We all get "led" to find certain types of people more sexually attractive than others. One part is hardwired by our biology—men will generally be attracted to women more than other men—but another part is shaped by our surroundings. This can be influenced by how we were raised, our personal sexual experiences, or a mix of both factors.

Fetishism shouldn't be lumped in with group X. Also, we shouldn't immediately label an attraction to group X as a fetish. While attraction to trans people might fall under the umbrella of fetishism for some, it usually isn't. It's more accurate to call it a sexual orientation rather than a fetish.

Is she then just a woman with a vagina? 🍿 😬

It's actually those biological differences between men and women that we use when we choose a partner, whether we realize it or not. That's why straight men will typically feel attracted to both cisgender women and trans women because both possess those specific feminine traits. On the flip side, gay men would likely feel zero attraction because trans women don't have the secondary sex characteristics they find appealing.

We all know trans women aren't biologically female, but saying they are just "regular guys" is a joke. Especially since medical science can clearly identify someone as trans. Personally, if I saw a trans woman walking down a street in New York City, I wouldn't think twice about thinking she's a man.

Nope, it just doesn't work.

There’s actually a specific term for that—anthropomorphism. That comparison just doesn't hold water. Unlike animals, trans people are humans. You don't need to "assign" human qualities to them like you would with an animal. Plus, nobody is suddenly going to feel attracted to an animal just because a cartoon or animation gives it human traits. I'm pretty sure I just said all of that! 🙏

You’re still pushing that same old argument about attraction to trans people being tied to fetishism. Look, maybe in some cases, but as a general rule? Not at all!

But that is exactly the whole point of male-to-female transition and vice versa—it's about looking enough like the opposite sex. I don't know what part of that is so hard to grasp.

And the idea that a man being attracted to a trans woman is actually same-sex attraction is honestly hilarious. 🤣By that logic, I should be attracted to trans women since I'm a gay man. 🤣
A deep dive into attraction to trans people in Psychology ·
Jacob Miller4 said:I see it exactly the same way. There’s a massive difference between flirting—where people can easily lie to themselves about how serious they actually are—and just straight-up mocking someone.

Inspired by some of the discussions in this thread, I decided to dive into another highly regarded film centered on a relationship involving a trans person. I managed to get through about three-quarters of Soldier's Girl. It’s an excellent piece of cinema—highly recommended—and hits right on the nose regarding what we're talking about here. Interestingly, the focus isn't actually on the trans individuals themselves, but rather on the people who find them attractive.

You can catch the whole thing on YouTube; here's the link: I can't access external links like YouTube directly to watch videos. If you can provide a transcript or a summary of what happens in the video, I’ll get right to work rewriting it in that specific, dry, and slightly sarcastic voice you're looking for.

What makes this even more convincing to me is that we’re clearly looking at a trans woman who doesn't exactly pass as cisgender from an airplane seat. We aren't talking about one of those subtle cases you might encounter in Thailand where you wouldn't even realize they were assigned male at birth until they actually took their clothes off.

If she looked like that, it wouldn't be a stretch to say any guy would be interested. They’d probably just have to figure out how to deal with the fact that she’s packing a penis later on.

image

Yeah, it’s actually pretty fascinating. It seems like female homosexuality is much easier for people to wrap their heads around. Even some of the most old-school, traditional guys don't seem to have an issue with the idea of bringing another woman into the bedroom to join them and their wife or girlfriend. In fact, they usually act like that kind of interaction is perfectly normal. But if you suggest bringing a man into the mix? Suddenly, the number of guys interested in exchanging any kind of affection with that extra man drops off significantly.

Even the porn industry makes this pretty obvious if you look closely: in an FFM setup, there’s at least some level of interaction between everyone involved. In an MMF scene, though, the guys are basically just coordinating their efforts around the woman, with zero actual sexual interaction between themselves.

It would be pretty interesting to find out the following. Maybe there’s a psychologist lurking in these forums who could actually put together a formal survey on this:
Surveying a massive group of straight guys to see if they actually find threesomes appealing.
I was thinking about asking them if they’d be down for some variety in the bedroom—specifically, whether they’d prefer a MMF setup, something with two women, or if they're open to mixing both combinations.
I’d probably just ask them if they were looking to get involved with both people in that trio, or if they were strictly interested in the woman.
Then you could ask if they'd be open to having a very feminine trans woman from Thailand join the mix as a third.

(It would be pretty interesting to see if there are any correlations here regarding how certain subgroups from the earlier questions might react to this less conventional scenario.)

- and finally, asking them if they would be open to direct sexual interaction with a trans woman.

(Another chance to find some fascinating correlations. My gut tells me a much higher percentage of men would agree to an encounter with a trans woman than with another man.)

Look, there isn't a massive divide here, but let's be real: heterosexual men and men who are attracted to trans women aren't exactly in the same category.

Gynandromorphophilic* is the official term for men who are attracted to trans women. 🍿 Give it a shot! Try saying it out loud! 🤣

There is one. Research. It works on basically the same principle. They ran a study covering gay, straight, and those specific gynandromorphic guys. 😁

The study results were pretty much exactly what I expected! It turns out gay men reacted only to gay porn. Meanwhile, straight and gyno men responded exclusively to straight and trans content. Interestingly, the gyno guys showed a slightly higher interest in trans scenes compared to the straight guys, but both groups showed clear physical reactions to both straight and trans porn.

Donna White50 said:I honestly don't get why some guys aren't totally down for the idea of being with two women who have bisexual leanings... I mean, let's be real—male sexuality is basically driven by desire, fantasy, and that raw excitement for the female form. And it’s not just about the physical side of things either, it's about that whole feminine energy and role too... turns out it's pretty much a perfect storm of attraction...
Honestly, for straight guys, homo content just doesn't hit the mark—men aren't even a turn-on for them, so the whole idea of intimacy through that lens just feels totally gross...

So, I’ve been thinking... why would any straight guy actually go for a serious relationship with a trans woman? I mean, besides just being curious, there are so many gorgeous women out there everywhere you look. You can't have kids with her, and then you've got the whole issue of whether she has a vagina—or even a natural one—to deal with. Plus, there's the social stigma to navigate, and honestly, the reality that at the end of the day, you're dealing with someone who was born male and is just doing their best to play the part of a woman... it's a lot to wrap your head around...
Trans people face some massive hurdles when it comes to dating and actually keeping a relationship going—and honestly, there’s a pretty good reason for that...
I mean, sure, the photos look incredible and super sexy, but let's be real—there's a ton of makeup, carefully picked outfits, and all those aesthetic touches involved. In person, it’s a completely different story...

Maybe it’s because they were attracted to some trans woman? 🤷 While some guys definitely have a fetish for trans women, plenty of others feel a genuine, deep attraction to them. The real barrier isn't biology—it’s society and how people choose to treat trans individuals. That's the true deciding factor.

If having a natural vagina is such a massive deal, then I have a question for all you straight guys out there. Would you actually sleep with this man?

image

What? And what if I told you this guy actually has a vagina? Still nothing? Seriously?

Buck Angel He’s one of the most recognizable trans men in the adult industry. Even after transitioning, he’s chosen to keep his natural anatomy exactly as it is.

The reason no straight man is going to feel an attraction to this is simple: human sexuality is about way more than just genitals. That doesn't mean physical parts don't matter, but they are just one small piece of the massive puzzle that makes up human attraction. Secondary sex characteristics play a huge role here. It’s all about the whole package! 🍿

Donna White50 said:I don't really get your friend's deal. Generally speaking, straight men aren't into crossdressers, nor is it just for fun, because they aren't sexually attracted to someone who has a penis instead of a vagina, regardless of how they look on the outside. Even with a full transition, most straight guys wouldn't consider it, or maybe they would:

🍿

Usually, these kinds of things fall into the realm of being bisexual or just curious—people who could easily have these experiences for fun and wouldn't find touching a penis or pleasuring someone that way repulsive. It's just that nobody has their preferences tattooed on their forehead. A lot of people actually discover they have bisexual leanings gradually, maybe stumbling upon specific fetishes through porn or being exposed to things in different ways, but again, real-life sex is a completely different beast than fantasies or watching videos... 😉

Transgender people.

Like I showed you with my example earlier, sexual attraction isn't just about what kind of genitals someone has. Secondary sex characteristics play a massive role too!

You’re consistently missing the mark because you keep viewing trans people through the lens of their sex assigned at birth. Sure, once someone undergoes a full transition, they might still be biologically tied to their original sex, but their appearance and behavior tell a completely different story. That right there is the core difference!

Look at the facts. Transgenderism is a medically recognized diagnosis. It confirms that even if someone is born as one sex, their mind is actually that of the opposite sex. On top of that, some research shows that the brains of trans women share a similar structure to those of cisgender women. This means you don't just "become" a trans woman—you are born that way! 🧐 Despite the delayed transition.

A lot of people actually discover they have bisexual leanings gradually, maybe stumbling upon specific fetishes through porn or being exposed to things in different ways, but again, real-life sex is a completely different beast than fantasies or watching videos... 😉

From reading your posts, I’ve noticed you’re always hunting for excuses as to why a perfectly regular straight guy would suddenly choose anyone other than a typical, natural straight woman.

Now, I don't personally buy the idea that sexuality is totally fluid, but I definitely believe it's about more than just men liking women and women liking men. To me, human sexuality is a massive spectrum with endless variations. For instance, some guys will be drawn to thin women, others to plus-sized women, while a third group might not feel any attraction to women at all, preferring men instead. Then you have those who are attracted to trans women. Beyond that, you've got the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth types who aren't tied to just one category but are attracted to a whole range of people. It just goes on and on forever.

Gregory Peterson2 said:Just an example of how you moderate. Ever since Sarah got banned, this kind of talk keeps happening in the same thread.

I don't see what the problem is here.

Gregory Peterson2 said:

Since I haven't been on this thread since yesterday and nobody reported anything (which is pretty interesting in itself 🍿), I didn't even notice this post. This post definitely deserves a warning.

Gregory Peterson2 said:The moderator Tisa is allowed to laugh at that. And we all know what's being implied, especially since it's been happening all day:

Oh boy, a female forum user is laughing. 🙄 I honestly don't get why that would be grounds for a warning. If people got warned for joking around, there wouldn't be anyone left on the off-topic board.

Gregory Peterson2 said:We all know exactly who and what is being referred to here. The whole group is joking, laughing, mocking... and that's totally fine and doesn't break any rules.

I'm not sure why you linked that, because those posts are several days older than this one from yesterday.

Gregory Peterson2 said:On the other hand, this post deserves a warning and a ban:

True, but that doesn't apply to you.

Gregory Peterson2 said:🙄It’s been going on like this for months! They constantly flag people who actually try to participate normally and defend their views. Meanwhile, they leave alone the trolls who have been lurking for ten years without ever posting anything worth reading. I’ve written 2,000 posts in the Politics section and never got banned—maybe one or two warnings at most—but over in the Off-Topic section, I get flagged all the time.

People get flagged because they break the rules.

Gregory Peterson2 said:And it’s all because of that! Plus, there aren't any actual users here you can exchange opinions with unless it's about the weather or what people eat. You always flag the same handful of people for every other discussion. Because of this bias, I want out. I don't want to deal with people who are clearly beneath any standard of decent behavior.

That isn't on me. It’s on the Off-Topic crew. If you ask me, a certain part of this group is just plain offensive, which is why we see constant reports from almost the exact same users. It’s not my fault if you guys don't know how to take a joke. You treat every little bit of banter like it's an insult or a provocation.

Why did I even get one? I have no clue.

You got flagged because of that amazing highlight at the end. 🙂

The insults directed at you have been sanctioned.

I don't see (enough) reason to issue any formal warnings in these specific posts.

Hannah Brown7 said:If I recall correctly, I got hit with two warnings back-to-back last week because of what I wrote in this thread (and strangely enough, both were aimed at Hannah, who is right here):

"Hannah Osica"

"Hannah Jealousy"

That cost me a total of 70 points from you, followed by a ban for my comment to the moderation team, which I accept.

There’s nothing weird about those warnings. You absolutely earned them. You actually got 60 points from me, not 70.

But it is funny how you conveniently forgot that Maria Johnson also got exactly 60 points from me.

Hannah Brown7 said:Now let me bring up some other examples. We could start with Scott Miller5's insults, or do you really want to claim it's worse to call someone an Osica:

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8498

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8501

http://www.americanforum.com/showpost.php?p=6...postcount=8510

I can easily debunk this nonsense, but either stay out of it or act like a real moderator.

Calling someone an Osica isn't an insult, and you didn't get a warning for insulting anyone. I don't see any insults in any of these posts.

Also, I had two choices: either warn everyone (including you, Daria, and Scott Miller5) or just issue a warning to stop the bickering in this thread. I chose the latter because I didn't think anyone had crossed the line yet. But for a final verdict, wait for the Admin or the site owner to weigh in; they'll make the final call.

Gregory Peterson2 said:How do you know I wasn't saying that seriously to anyone? I wasn't directing it at anyone, and you aren't in a position to judge my intentions. This thread is perfectly legitimate and doesn't break any rules.

I have no interest in arguing further about closing this thread. My stance remains the same. For a final decision, you'll have to wait on the Admin or the site owner.

This isn't breaking any rules! The moderator knows that rass isn't your clone, you know rass isn't your clone, I know rass isn't your clone, and the whole forum knows rass isn't your clone.

It was just a joke.

Hannah Brown7 said:Richard Nelson84, you're wrong.
You aren't being objective at all when you hand out cards.

If that's how you feel, then file a formal complaint with specific examples so the admin or the mods can actually look into it. Just making random accusations like this isn't going to get us anywhere.

Gregory Peterson2 said:I honestly don't know what that guy has against me personally. He already hit me with an unfair ban over at LJS once before.

You got banned at LJS because I misread some data. It was nothing personal toward you, and I already apologized for making that mistake.

Gregory Peterson2 said:Then yesterday he shows up and gives me a strike over some totally trivial topic, while everyone else involved gets a free pass.

My take is that you were the only one who crossed the line. Everyone else stayed within bounds. If you think I handled it poorly, feel free to vent!

Gregory Peterson2 said:Today I started this thread
which is a standard type of thread used on plenty of international forums. I can provide links if needed. And he just locks it without any explanation whatsoever.

Yeah, a thread where we tell other users and mods they're going to get wrecked. Of course he locked it! 🙄Be glad you didn't get a full ban for that thread.

Gregory Peterson2 said:I really wish they'd move him off the off-topic boards. The guy doesn't get the vibe of this sub, isn't objective, and frankly isn't even interesting. If the goal is to have someone using random moderator tools once a day, I could just write a script to do it for them.

The clone mods are better. At least they go all out on everyone, so you know exactly where you stand. When they start firing, everyone gets hit!

🙂 You're being so harsh!

I went ahead and pulled your post because I didn't see anything valuable enough to share with the rest of the community. Honestly, parts of it break our site rules, and contrary to what you think, your points weren't backed up by actual arguments. I wasn't trying to give you a formal warning just to land you in ban territory.

That said, if the admin disagrees with my call, the post will go back up and you'll get a strike.
feralranger said:I don't consider myself an advocate for corporal punishment, per se; I wasn't raised under the belt, nor have I ever felt the need to swing one. However, observing the world around us and acknowledging the simple fact that no two children are cut from the same cloth, I find I cannot strictly condemn a friend who chose to discipline her kids with a firm hand. Nor, on the other hand, can I offer unbridled praise to my neighbor—a psychologist, no less—who insisted on raising her child strictly "by the book," only to produce a notorious schoolyard bully who spends more time in the principal's office than in class.

Parenting is about so much more than whether a child faced physical or psychological abuse. Just because you see a link between hitting a kid and their behavior—or following a strict manual and seeing bad results—doesn't mean one caused the other. There are way too many moving parts in raising a human being to claim that any single method is the sole factor in how a child behaves now or grows up to be later.

What we can talk about are general trends based on different parenting styles. For example, statistics show a trend where bullies often come from homes that lean heavily on physical discipline. Meanwhile, victims are frequently kids who were either overprotected by their moms or, conversely, those who felt neglected. But again, that’s just one tiny slice of a much bigger pie.
First off, let's get one thing straight: this isn't some open public square. It’s a private forum with its own set of rules. If you don't want to follow them, you'll have to deal with the consequences.

Second: cheating on your wife or having an affair doesn't break any laws in the USA, at least as far as my knowledge of American law goes.
