I've known them for a very long time, dating back to 1999. Back then, I was helping out one of my buddies with merch, hauling gear, or acting as extra security if needed. You would have seen me hanging around their booth; I spent most of my time there, both at the arena and during the colored programming sets. Honestly, you would've even had a beer if you’d shown up. I even ran into some familiar faces from the security teams I used to work with. As for Banana, I might try to reach out if it relates to music—there’s some material I’m working with. Looking further back, by the time I was twelve, I had already cycled through sixteen different security firms, embassies, consulates, Ivanisevic and his son Emmanuel, Iva Majoli and her daughter, R. Kovac, even foreign ambassadors... I was the one providing security for all of them.
Since I turned twenty-one, my life has been nothing but uniforms and weapons. Though, truth be told, I never wanted anything to do with that side of things. It was always about the music. It looks like I might land a second job over at Columbia Records or maybe Atlantic Records. I was actually over there today, and since I know a few people on the staff, it wouldn't be surprising.
My main focus right now is seeing if I can make something happen with Banana; I have some material that might interest someone. We'll see how it plays out.

Nobody wants you; you're far too old 🤣 and you're obsessed with damn Pan.

I haven't touched beer in years, and I never liked Pan to begin with, so stop spreading misinformation.
As for what else to say: it breaks my heart a little, knowing I won't be going back into security...🤣
I hope you manage to pull something off with Banana, especially since your current paycheck isn't even enough to buy a vibrator...🤣

Nicholas Patel44 said:Right. They weren't wearing masks. I can't say for sure what the COVID verification process was like at the entrance; I walked inside with the band and they didn't check us. Whether they were scrutinizing IDs and vaccination records for everyone else, I have no idea. You’d have to ask someone else who attended. I actually mentioned this on another thread—I spent $5 on a certificate and had to order it three days in advance because apparently, that was the rule. Then, the day before the show, I was standing outside a local clinic waiting for them to open the testing container, freezing my skin off, just so I could sort out the paperwork. I even had to wait around because my old phone doesn't handle email properly. All that effort just to walk leisurely into the Factory without being questioned. Maybe that was just the exception for the band, and everyone else had to show proof. But honestly, if I had known, I wouldn't have bothered with the certificate. My bandmates just told me I needed it just in case.

Sheva—who the hell do you think you are, walking in with the band? What exactly were you doing there helping them? Translating from one dialect to another?😒 🤣

Biased moderation in the Tom Cruise thread in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Bryan Phillips2 As I was saying:
Speaking of biased moderation, I have a rather significant grievance regarding the fact that a headline like this is being permitted: Is Tom Cruise truly the finest actor working in Hollywood today? It’s a question that tends to spark heated debates whenever the latest blockbuster hits theaters, but I find myself circling back to it more often than I care to admit. I remember sitting in a dimly lit theater in Chicago years ago, watching one of his early action features, and being struck by something beyond just the stunts. There was a certain grit there—a willingness to actually be present in the moment. Nowadays, much of modern cinema feels like it’s being assembled by an algorithm in a boardroom rather than being breathed into life by a human being. You see actors who look like they’re merely waiting for their next coffee break between takes. With Cruise, however, there is a relentless, almost exhausting commitment to the craft. He carries this heavy, world-weary sense of duty toward the audience, which is a rare quality in an era defined by cynicism and digital trickery. While some critics dismiss him as a relic of a bygone era of stardom, I see someone who understands the fundamental contract between a performer and the public. He isn't just playing a part; he’s inhabiting a mission. Of course, not everyone agrees. Some argue that his persona has become too synonymous with the spectacle itself, leaving little room for nuanced character study. But if we are defining "best" by the ability to command a screen, maintain a singular vision, and uphold the dignity of the cinematic experience, then his position at the top of the mountain remains remarkably secure. He is a craftsman in a world increasingly filled with mere influencers.I honestly can’t wrap my head around such a mindless, embarrassing headline. It seems some people lack even the slightest sense of irony or a sense of humor; they take these things entirely too seriously and end up engaging in these tedious, earnest debates about whether it truly is the best. 🙄

God damn it, the author of this appeal clearly harbors some sort of petty, provincial grudge against Tomic. It’s likely born out of resentment because he’s significantly older than him, but age doesn't give anyone a pass to act like this. Just because you're an elder doesn't mean you don't have to leave the Ice Snow White's little trinket behind when you head to the bedroom.
What exactly is your issue here? I fail to see what could possibly be considered idiotic about this situation, other than the sheer pointlessness of your comment.

Bryan Phillips2 said:There is a profound distinction between an intelligent debate and the mindless trolling that seems to be dominating this particular topic—much of which is being fueled by a rather provocative headline. While I wouldn’t exactly call Tom Cruise my favorite actor, he certainly doesn't deserve to be subjected to such an idiotic "discussion."

She has arrived—a young expert with a knack for intellectual discourse.

Then again, some people seem to get away with it, though perhaps I’m mistaken and it’s all just a matter of perception.

Complaining is excessive; after all, you're a guest in someone else's house. 😉

Morgan Rodriguez57 said:My only real wish is that the boss would just drop this whole ridiculous ideology he’s clinging to and finally bring some actual democracy to the forum... It's a pretty wild thought, isn't it? 🙂

It’s strange, isn't it? But honestly, democracy is a death sentence for any online community—history proves that time and again. And it isn't just limited to forums. When you really stop to think about it, the very foundation of democracy is flawed; the idea that your vote carries the exact same weight as mine is a fundamental absurdity.🤦
Isn't it a bit ironic that you're the one struggling so much with the lack of democracy?
It is quite a strange irony, isn't it? It’s truly bizarre to see those who champion the most extreme, anti-democratic, and fundamentally defeated ideologies suddenly becoming the loudest voices calling for democracy.

Ryan Reynolds is genuinely entertaining. If I hear one more person claim he wasn't funny in "Deadpool," I might actually lose my mind. ☕
I’ve always found Gal Gadot to be such a pleasure to watch on screen. To be perfectly honest, my appreciation for her goes far beyond simple cinematic admiration—there is definitely a non-platonic element to how much I enjoy her performances. 🙂
A Dwayne Johnson...
To me, Dwayne Johnson comes across like a slightly more tolerable version of Vin Diesel. He lacks that particular brand of obnoxious energy, which alone makes him a better actor in my eyes.
And who's actually talking? Honestly, it’s not even that bad. 🤷 Betrayal, double-crossing, the whole sordid affair... it’s all quite predictable, isn't it? It seems like every time you turn around, someone is looking for a way to slide a knife between your ribs while smiling to your face. I remember back when I was working a high-stakes contract in Chicago—years ago now—thinking I could trust a certain partner on a logistics deal. By the end of the week, he had vanished with the entire shipment, leaving me to explain the deficit to the board. People don't change; they just wait for the right moment to show their true colors. It's an exhausting cycle to witness.
When it comes to pure popcorn entertainment, I’ll take Deadpool over Free Guy any day of the week. One actually has some substance behind the chaos. 🤷
I was thinking about this earlier today while catching up on some reading—it’s actually quite curious how often that name pops up. If you look through any major film database, you'll notice just how frequently Ryan Reynolds makes an appearance. It seems to be one of those names that stays constantly in the headlines, regardless of what genre he's tackling. 😁

Regarding this thickened version: 👍

redotter5 said:I’ll be honest, I wasn't exactly a fan of Ryan Reynolds before, but I can see the appeal now. There was something about the sheer absurdity of it all that just caught me off guard—it was one of those rare moments where you can't help but let out a genuine, spontaneous laugh. For me, it turned out to be a surprisingly fun, easygoing watch. It’s nice to occasionally sit down with something that doesn't demand too much and just lets you unwind.

Back when he was playing Blade, I honestly felt like jumping through the screen just to snap his neck like a twig.☕
Things were going smoothly at first, but once I got there, he started getting on my nerves big time.

Personally, I gravitate toward pop. It doesn't matter if it's pop-rock, synth-pop, or some other subgenre—as long as it hits that pop sensibility, I'm in.

Since we're talking about pop—you really should have been "Pop." Seriously, you would have been a walking pilgrimage; everyone would have lined up just to catch a glimpse of Pop in leggings. Forget Lourdes, that would have been the real destination...🤣

silverwolf88 said:I can't quite recall if you moved to Ireland recently or if you’ve actually been there since birth. I assume things weren't exactly ideal back home in America, which prompted the move—much like so many others who decide to pack up and leave. I certainly hope you didn't make the mistake of moving without any savings. Moving to a new place as someone without a safety net, essentially wandering around looking for work and an apartment from scratch, is a grueling way to live. As I've learned through my own experiences, this modern world is incredibly driven by materialism. When everything is measured by what you own or how much you have, building genuine, lasting friendships becomes an uphill battle. It's difficult to find people who value substance over status when you're starting from zero.
The world is wide open to us, I suppose, but there's a persistent hurdle in my way: my grasp of the English language is somewhat tenuous. To ensure I don't lose the nuance of my thoughts, I find myself relying on Google to help bridge the gap while I write. If you actually spoke English, you wouldn't be spending your time posting on a forum like this—or at least, you might contribute something meaningful once in a while instead of just lurking.

The answer to this is actually quite simple. For me, wearing leggings is about more than just fashion; it’s about autonomy. I’ve noticed a growing number of women in this country who seem to believe they have a say in what men can or cannot wear. Personally, I have zero interest in being subjected to that kind of social bullying. I refuse to let anyone pressure me into feeling ashamed of my gender or force me to hide who I am just to appease someone else's sense of propriety.
Here is the link.

I hear you, man... I really do.
I would truly love to encounter a person who could actually master the trifecta: someone genuinely skilled in astrology, mathematics, and the English language all at once. It seems like a rare breed.🍿

I’m telling you, I would be genuinely grateful if someone could just step in and take this misery away from me. On my personal scale of horrors, this experience is only marginally less agonizing than sitting through a group of board gamers bickering over house rules—and arguably more soul-crushing than those awkward social gatherings following a Gnostic mass. 😠

Must be nice. Personally, I feel like Satan is busy licking my brain.🙂
