You have a phenomenal trilogy on this album! Argh, it's good, but it doesn't even touch Something Wicked...! And seriously, just take the damn CD, put it in, and hit play. Skip "When the Eagles Cries," "Declaration Day," and that weak intro, then just listen to the album! I was a bit hesitant at first and didn't want to give it a chance, but I've grown to love it today, especially the track Attila the Hun! and the trilogy 🙂

He left Metallica specifically so he could pursue a career in law and crush all the Bad-Guys under his boot to save America! ... honestly, I have zero respect for him or his legal career, but whatever...
Regarding the TGB album, there are two versions: the American one and the European version which lacks all that patriotic crap; from what I can see, we all went out and grabbed the American version. The album is pre-nationalist in nature and there's no denying that, but it sounds incredible—that trilogy is legendary.
For me, Metallica will always be number one, and they are most likely the best band I will ever listen to !
Oh, and one more thing: because of that "nationalist" vibe on the album, I haven't studied it quite as deeply as I have other albums (with the exception of the "Metallica" self-titled album).

I just finished watching the film and it was fantastic!
The concept isn't overdone, which is a huge plus. Great plot, plenty of sex appeal, and you've got that whole setup with an innocent priest in black robes ready to walk away from his calling... pretty cool. 😁

Look, there's nothing more to say about it; the concert isn't happening because Schaffer is undergoing surgery, so there won't be any touring in the US for the time being...

Manifest Destiny is a phenomenal album, though personally, I find it a bit too Pre-nationalist. Tim Commerford did an incredible job on the vocals; he really nailed it, no 👍 doubt about it.

Essentially, Barlow was rambling on about patriotism and whatnot... then he headed off to law school because he wants to take down all the Bad-Guys in Chicago, but he's going to end up getting absolutely nowhere with that plan...!

If you have any other questions regarding Metallica, just ask me; I could probably write you a full research paper on the subject... 🙂

I’ve noticed that almost every single movie these days includes some sort of romantic subplot that is just completely sucked dry—it’s tired, pathetic, and honestly... just gross. argh!!
Does that drive you people crazy as much as it does me? It ruins the entire experience of nearly every film I watch..!
For franchises like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, there really shouldn't be any romance involved, yet they insist on forcing it in anyway!
Well, at least we don't have to deal with it in Alien (thank God for small mercies)...

is a great cover because you can actually see certain songs reflected right in the artwork...
Iron Maiden has quite a few bloody covers... and then there's System of a Down - Steal This Album!... It's technically an original, but it looks like a total rip-off... basically because someone screwed them over and robbed them of that album, and by the time everyone actually got their hands on it, they had just lost their minds and put that out...
