Has anyone else noticed that zombie movies are just straight up iconic?

I honestly think playing around with acute social phobia is such a rewarding experiment. It’s easily the best way to rattle people, and it works so well because it doesn't just trigger fear—it builds this incredible, heavy tension.

This movie is absolutely killer.

Man, I would love to see a remake of this directed by Darren Aronofsky (you know, the guy behind Requiem for a Dream). That character deserves a massive production and a Spielberg-sized budget. If they did that, we’d be looking at a true horror masterpiece.

It’s honestly kind of wild how CNN will just drop a cult classic on you out of nowhere without any hype. I’m convinced this movie—which is an absolute masterpiece, by the way—would pull in double the viewers if they’d just marketed it with a bit more punch. They could have easily branded it as a "Cult horror special." Picture this: kick things off with The Body Snatchers, move into Amityville, follow up with Night of the Living Dead, and then close out the night with Evil Dead II. During the breaks, they could play clips from The Exorcist or some grainy black-and-white footage from those old 50s B-movies. Throw in those cheesy, blood-dripping fonts that say stuff like "Shocking"—you know the ones. Film buffs would be glued to the screen all night long. 100%.

Think it would be pretty cool.

The last thing I watched was Ice Age. I absolutely love animated features, and this one was just wonderful.

Is that the one where Christopher Lambert plays some big-shot businessman living the dream, until he's on a business trip in Tokyo and gets jumped by the Yakuza for some reason—maybe they killed his brother, his son, or even his hamster—and then he turns into The Hunted?

Rewatched Terminator today (the first one). That robot design is actually pretty solid, but man, the animation is just straight-up crappy.

Just go outside totally naked and barefoot and let yourself get sick. Your throat will hurt so much you WON'T BE ABLE TO SMOKE even if you really wanted to. And then you'll be out for a few months... if you survive, you made it! 👍

Honestly, I have zero interest in quitting smoking. I’m actually loving it. I know I could stop whenever I felt like it, but I just don't want to.

Action - Anything with Steven Seagal (honestly, any movie, because watching that guy snap limbs is just... wow), but let's go with Under Siege.

Martial Arts - I thought about this one for a while and ended up giving the title to Van Damme (specifically Karate Tiger 3). Some people might cry for Enter The Dragon, though. 😛

War - Full Metal Jacket.

Drama - Forrest Gump.

Fairytale - E.T.

Sci-Fi - The Matrix.

Horror - The Exorcist.

Comedy - Dumb and Dumber. 😁

Animated - The Lion King (I mean the Disney version, obviously, even if the original was an anime).

Adult - Debbie Does Dallas.

Romance - I'll say Titanic, even if it leans pretty heavy into drama.

Thriller - The Pelican Brief (if anyone remembers that one, it’s seriously great).

And that's my list.

Some movies that deserve a mention regardless of genre are: Predator 1 and 2, Aliens, Midnight Express, and The Godfather (the trilogy). Sorry, but I just couldn't leave them out.

Oh, there are plenty of them like that.

It’s all about matching the score to the vibe of the movie. For instance, in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the music just hits that atmosphere perfectly alongside the plot.

Then you’ve got any film where Tarantino has left his twisted fingerprints (especially From Dusk Till Dawn!).

Oh, and I can't forget—Mortal Kombat actually has an awesome soundtrack, even if the movie itself wasn't great!
