Honestly, my first reaction when I loaded this "tear-jerker" of a forum was pure confusion—I genuinely thought my laptop was glitching out or something. It wasn't until I hit refresh that those massive Apple ads finally popped up on my screen.
First off, the layout of this forum is incredibly cramped; as Jason Morgan would probably put it, the visual clutter is just plain offensive to look at. Secondly, these advertisements are giving me a literal headache because they are absolutely gargantuan and utilize such an atrocious shade of blue...
Please, I am asking you to restore the forum to its proper, functional shape and move these ads to a much more subtle location where they aren't so intrusive.
If you aren't planning on fixing the design, then I need someone to point me toward a reliable program that can strip every single one of these damn ads from the site, because right now, this forum is starting to feel less like a community and more like a low-rent landing page for advertisers.
Goodness, this is absolutely overwhelming... I find myself completely unable to participate on the forum because of this situation. It is giving me a massive headache; everything has become utterly chaotic and disorganized. It is truly distressing... I am asking you to please find a way to resolve this 🙂
shadowscout8 said:restlesstiger102, you watched a movie where the vibe is everything... you really need to get lost in the story and just immerse yourself in it. So, how did you manage to jump on the forum to comment at the 40-minute mark?! :/ My favorite kind of people are those who decide to throw on a movie at 2:00 PM on a random weekday while they're busy cooking or doing something else entirely, and then turn around and say the movie isn't scary, or it's boring, or it makes no sense, etc., etc. If you actually want to enjoy this movie properly, you have to set the right mood. It’s definitely not a movie for a group hang (unless you just want to laugh at the "stupid" scenes), it’s not a weekday afternoon flick, it’s not meant for a tiny screen, and it certainly isn't for low volume!
I watched it at one in the morning in a pitch-black room. What more could I possibly need? After forty minutes of pure boredom, I decided to leave my thoughts here.
I simply cannot immerse myself in something that is fundamentally flawed. You suggest I need loud audio? Honestly, if a movie relies on jump scares through sheer volume to frighten me, then it's a failure.
Honestly, I didn't even blink while watching that movie. I wasn't stressed for a single second... absolutely nothing. It was such an overwhelming sense of boredom that I could hardly believe it myself.
Could you please list the specific scenes you found terrifying? I genuinely have the impression that I might have watched a completely different film altogether.
I am watching it right now... I'm about forty minutes in and I am absolutely dying of boredom...
EDIT: I finished the whole thing and I have to comment that this kind of content can't possibly be good for someone who is mentally underdeveloped (not that I'm judging myself)
This is just terrible. First off, I was fighting sleep through the entire film because there isn't a single genuinely terrifying moment; everything feels incredibly monotonous.
Secondly, what kind of sane person—assuming we follow the logic that this was filmed as it happened—would record ghosts and similar nonsense in total darkness? He can clearly tell something is wrong, yet he just wanders around the house in the dark.😕
Thirdly, who in their right mind films situations where they are being possessed by a ghost or whatever else?
There is far too much illogical nonsense and sheer stupidity involved here..
By the end, I couldn't even wrap my head around who was doing what to whom... how should I put this...
This man is dead... and those girls, what is going on with him?? Are they possessed or what?
And where is the mother of that woman? Is she dead or something?
Then there's that part in the house where the girls are screaming and the bed flies across the room... please, give me a break, wouldn't anyone hear that???
Even the segment where they suspect something—though I don't even know what—they all just go right along and sleep peacefully?
Since he’s already taking those, I’m wondering what other options might be available that follow a similar profile—specifically looking for something with a minimal hormonal load, if that’s even possible.
melloworca6, I have a quick question for you. I wasn't quite sure where to direct this, so please feel free to move my post if there is a more appropriate thread for it. I am scheduled for an ultrasound at Johns Hopkins Hospital next week, and it just occurred to me 🙄 that since I don't have supplemental insurance, I will definitely be responsible for the bill myself. Does anyone happen to know what the typical cost looks like?
Money is a bit tight for me right now, so every dollar counts, and I would also like to have a general idea of how much cash I should set aside. For my hormone testing, I ended up paying $39 🤔

🤣
You should be able to find them at any local pharmacy or drugstore. If you're having trouble tracking one down, please just send me a private message with your address, as I actually have quite a few extra lying around that I'd be more than happy to part with.🙂
Personally, I would have marched right back into that pharmacy, woman... I’d have gone strictly by the book and demanded to speak with her supervisor immediately. Then, I would have told that manager, quite bluntly, exactly what happened with the pill box—specifically how that woman had the audacity to attack me while I was simply doing my job distributing the medication.
Essentially, I would have made a massive scene. But honestly, I would have confronted her on the spot. Regardless, she has absolutely no grounds to tell you anything about using a prescription that is valid for a full year and nowhere near its expiration date.
spec.tre, this is incredibly helpful information. It’s honestly a lifesaver because I haven't been able to track down anything useful on my own. If anyone could provide a quick breakdown using just a few bullet points, I would be so grateful. It seems fairly obvious what the structure of Reddit looks like in terms of subreddits, but I want to be certain about the hierarchy. We have the moderators who manage the discussions and handle things like policing insults or rule-breaking. Then there are the super moderators, and above them, the admins—is that the correct order?
It would also be wonderful if someone could shed some light on how Reddit actually stays afloat financially, and how it managed to achieve such massive popularity regarding its traffic and total user base. I suspect Jack Anderson might be the most knowledgeable person regarding this, as I am fairly certain he is the driving force behind the entire Marketing Agency operation supporting the site, though I am equally convinced he won't bother replying to me. Regardless, I really need to pull together at least two full pages regarding the history and mechanics of Reddit.🙏 🙏 🙏
In any case, if anyone happens to know anything about the origins of this platform, its growth, or its evolution, please feel free to write a long response. It would truly be a huge help to me.😍
I wasn't quite sure where to turn with this request, but I am currently in need of some specific details for my senior thesis project. I am looking for any available documentation or even just some basic background information regarding the origins of Reddit—specifically when it was founded, who the original creators were, and what their underlying motivation was for launching the site.
Essentially, I am trying to reconstruct a bit of a history for the platform. Unfortunately, Google hasn't been particularly helpful in narrowing down these specific details, so I would be incredibly grateful for any insights or information the community might be able to provide. Any help at all would be a lifesaver.😁
I have this nagging suspicion that none of my content has actually been cleared away, yet I can see the digital footprint of my activity on the internal database—and if those logs weren't supposed to be wiped, then 😁... I have quite a significant number of threads over on the off-topic boards, so it feels somewhat inconsistent with the usual US and international standards.
To be perfectly blunt, I am requesting that my data be deleted, but nothing seems to be happening. 😢
Perhaps I should just distribute a few thousand dollars among you all instead. 😁
I find myself unable to clear anything at all, though I truly wish a few thousand dollars could just magically vanish from my account right about now.😁
That way, you won't have to make a mess inside the house. Just head out to the backyard, find a spot in front of the apartment building, or maybe just head down to the beach 😬
