The woman is the boss, and that includes her band too... hehe, Juliette isn't crazy at all 😁
Maybe everything was executed strictly by the book, but man, what a killer show and such an incredible vibe... It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a band in Chicago—especially one this small and relatively underground—completely blow the roof off the place right from their first set. They kept the energy pumping until the very end and were getting standing ovations just 3 or 4 minutes after their first encore. It’s honestly a shame they didn't play a second song;
To anyone who didn't have anything better to do on a Sunday night, you are seriously missing out. You should feel sooo much FOMO for not being there! 😁
Though, I suppose I can't say what could possibly be "better" to do if someone actually has a passion for live music 😬
Unfortunately, I don't drive at all, so I can only sit here and fantasize about what I’d blast through my speakers just for the hell of it, or what kind of tracks would make me want to floor the gas pedal!
By the way, if you're looking for driving music, The Doors and their version of Riders on the Storm are absolutely top-tier.
Just imagine cruising during twilight, heading west toward downtown, maybe rolling down a long stretch of highway near an ExxonMobil refinery... man, that vibe...😁

And there we go!
At first glance, I figured the author was looking for those specific tracks you’d just love to blast while cruising down the highway
since everyone seems to be leaning into songs about driving lately, I thought, why not keep the momentum going and share some of my favorites?
The Smiths: There Is a Light That Never Goes Out
New Order: 60 Miles an Hour
Depeche Mode: Never Let Me Down Again
U2: A Sort of Homecoming
U2: Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crushed Car
David Bowie: Drive in Saturday
Basically, all these picks tie back to the road—whether it's through the titles, the lyrics, or a little bit of both
And honestly, they would make such a killer driving playlist; I’d especially love to cruise to The Smiths😁😁🙂
It honestly feels to me like half of those movies you guys talk about aren't even available in video rental stores anymore,
your typical neighborhood video stores
So, does anyone have a lead on where I can actually find this movie???
Seriously, if one more person suggests DivX, I am going to lose my mind and jump out a window!!!
I’ve been hunting for this flick since way before Requiem came out, and of course, it’s nowhere to be found.
I caught this movie last night..
Honestly, I’m having a bit of a hard time finding the right words to describe my thoughts on it;
I think the film itself is actually quite good
But I totally misjudged the vibe for it—I'm the type of person who prefers watching movies like this on streaming at home, just by myself.
It gets a little frustrating when you're hanging out with a group that can't stop critiquing everything. It was so annoying hearing everyone jump down Adam Sandler's throat and accusing him of being a pervert, when all I wanted to do was just sit there and enjoy that 'revenge' scene and the ridiculous petty arguing..
Anyway, you should definitely head to the theater to see it, if only to make sure more movies like this keep getting made!

Oh, riiiiight,
😕
but I still honestly think you're just being a total poser.

Oh, please, tell them how it is!!!
Seriously, people call you a fake—and if you don't even know what that means, then you're clearly the biggest fake out there! Honestly, I think you might actually be the most legendary, top-tier fake ever to walk through any fake circles imaginable.
You total fraud!
Such a phony.
F A K E Y O U !!
It’s funny how every time I find myself wondering why I haven't been to the movie theater since *The Lord of the Rings* came out, I end up stumbling upon a site like this (or just picking up the paper) and seeing all these headlines being pushed
Honestly, I won't be checking those movies out when they hit the rental services; I'll wait until they move off the "New Releases" shelf, and even then, only if there is absolutely nothing else worth watching
I have to say, I found Mel Gibson's *Patriot* incredibly dull
Then there was *The Perfect Storm*, and let me tell you, that Gibson flick about what women supposedly love wasn't much better
What else did I sit through that was boring? I tried watching *Tomb Raider* on TV once, but I couldn't even make it halfway through before giving up
I don't know, I just don't head to the cinema very often. If it isn't playing on TV or available at the local video rental shop, I don't even bother counting it as something I've seen
If you actually knew anything about Nirvana or Kurt, you’d realize they absolutely loathed that song;
they felt it had been completely stripped of its meaning and turned into a caricature, so they basically jumped at any chance to mock it.
Honestly, if you're looking to take shots at Kurt, there's really no point in trying to do it through "Teen Spirit."
Honestly, I don’t get why everyone is so obsessed with Nirvana. It’s not like they deserve their top spot just because legends like Dream Theater or Led Zeppelin didn't make the cut, right?
I mean, why aren't we all losing our minds over Michael Jackson, Joy Division, or The Smiths instead?! Hahaha
Has anyone here actually even heard of those last two?
Give me a break, people!
Hehe, looks like there's a serious appetite for Metal in this group—honestly, I think you guys love it even more than classic country hits!
Man, it feels like I just walked right into a packed county fair, haha!
My absolute favorite route has to be the one running from the outskirts straight through downtown
It’s such a clean, solid metal route—what people call the "twelve" line
First off, I’ve got the version featuring NPR here
but honestly, it doesn't really matter... my mindset is just wired such that I can find something to laugh at in just about anything
What I’m trying to get at is that this song is just pure, unadulterated energy, and it makes me feel totally hyperactive... and since I can't exactly go bouncing down the street, I end up just bursting at the seams
So, why the surprised look?😕
I honestly lose my mind whenever I put on some Microsoft music. It’s the worst—I’ll be walking down the street listening to my Discman and I just start laughing uncontrollably and dancing like a maniac right in the middle of the sidewalk!
absolutely teeeerrific😁 🙂

Oh man, now you're talking about the whole band!
If we're going down that road, I'd rather just name the little guy McGuinness instead. 😁
Peter Morris58 said:Wait, wasn't that the guy from U2? 🙄
No way! How on earth did he nail it??😲
😁 😁
Personally, I’d go as far as calling that kid a total blessing... honestly, just ask me why! 😁 😁
