Hm... try using "don't color Manage this Document" (that very first option at the top), and set the aspect ratio to "Square Pixels".
When you Save as, make sure you haven't checked the box to embed the color profile (it's right under Color).

I make the image in Photoshop, save it as a JPEG, and it looks fine on my PC.

Looks "fine" in Photoshop, but does it look the same in some non-Adobe image viewer? Are the gray nuances in Photoshop actually matching those in the top row?

("File" -> "New" -> "Blank Presentation" -> "Create"

You need software to burn an audio CD.
Something like "Nero," for instance.

Or just search Google for "free disc burning software" or "free audio CD burning software."

For example:
(CDBurnerXP is a free application to burn CDs and DVDs)

Alright, what kind of gear are we actually talking about here? What does it support—if it supports anything at all?

Maybe it’s just a basic radio unit. 🤷

Try CD format or WMA...

Switching "where" to "whereso" or whatever? You can do that in New York City or San Francisco.

analogwalker2 said:So is there a specific way to upload those SWF files created in PowerPoint, or maybe some special code for it?

There is... Deya100 explained both the process and the solution in your "panorama" thread (granted, specifically for a "panorama project," but everything involving online interactive Flash follows the same packaging logic. Some things are simple—just one file—while others are more complex, requiring a folder with multiple files)

(On your computer, an open swf pulls all its necessary assets from your local hard drive. The web works on the exact same principle; you just need to ensure every single file belonging to the project is uploaded to the server, where they are called via URL addresses in the "object code" (href, src, etc.).)

P.S.
Honestly, I'm not entirely sure about that service (I just reread Deya100's post), and I'm no longer quite certain about what was meant by, "That way you can send a link to someone so they can view the panorama and other things"—that might not be exactly what I described here...

Same deal for me. I took my last Windows installation and did it the exact same way—just dragged the files from the disc onto the computer and ran the install from the hard drive.

Fine, even if it wasn't particularly helpful. 🙂

I have no idea how much interest you still have in the original question regarding the "what and how." If you do, try this instead:

Grab this player (click on "Adobe Flash Player Projector for Windows"). It looks like any standard empty window from a Windows folder and it's portable—you download it, unzip it, click the player, and you're done. Then just "drag&drop" the swf into the open player.
That player isn't related to anything else mentioned. But if you deal with swf files, it'll be useful.

Regarding "creating" catalogs:
If something like this (a demo, what the software "produces") is close to what you want, then
download and install the trial version -> (click "Download" down below, between "Demonstration" and "Buy Now").

I am not certain about the exact next steps, but most programs are similar enough:
save a PDF of your catalog to your drive (click the floppy icon at the far right /bottom left command row/).
open FlippingBook Publisher (assuming it's already installed) and import the PDF (in this case, the 'catalog in PDF format').
Beyond that, I don't know. If it works—if the trial version allows for actual e-catalog creation—then use (Save as) for html or swf. Generally, try using "Publish" and similar options.

Just like Jack Alvarez mentioned, this is all built on Flash.
I tried telling you once before: anything interactive—meaning everything that reacts to a mouse click, like web games, interactive banners, panoramic shots, digital magazines, etc.—is based on the swf format. Technically, the ".mov" format offers similar capabilities, but while you need a QuickTime player plug-in to interact with a .mov file, you need an Adobe Flash player plug-in for

This catalog of yours uses the swf extension as well (specifically .swf):

It’s just a basic website. You could build it in Notepad or use some dedicated web design software.

You're probably "impressed" by this

Lilith says: "... there's no Nokia at work or anything else..."

60% of users have wide screens, leaving the rest of the ad on the side. And now Anderson expects some kind of profit. 😕

The ad is just a standard background image. It doesn't even "count" clicks on forum pages, if it counts anything at all—which I doubt. It’s just the background image for every single one. The contract is likely time-based (two weeks or whatever /according to Anderson/).

I saw this coming back when Nokia phones still had external antennas, monochrome screens, and you had to charge them using those massive brick chargers.

Fine. Thanks for the answer. 🙂

Reddit administration currently has much bigger problems to deal with than how time is displayed...

🙂 (and we all agreed it was just "one single little click"). I won't argue that this should be their top priority. There's no point.

Wait a second... This question was posted in a subforum where you act as moderator and you "noticed" it. From what I can see, you couldn't care less about the impression this leaves on Americans living under Daylight Saving Time. We all know this is just pure laziness from the owners and admins of Reddit.

Don't you think it's reasonable to notify someone in charge? Or at least give us an answer here—those of us actually interested in why it's such a massive chore to click a single button in the admin panel to adjust for DST? Or, worst case scenario, admit you don't even have the answer?

Not quite. If you're an unregistered user, the time shown is their local time. Once you log in, it switches to yours.

I did some digging before posting this. Couldn't find anything similar. My apologies.

Alright, maybe I went a bit overboard. 😁

Here. I asked the admins the exact same thing (see that fourth post up).

I realize most people see this as nitpicking. But let’s be clear: this isn't some obscure, backwater subreddit, nor are we dealing with a nuclear reactor where adjusting the clocks for Daylight Saving Time would require evacuating the entire United States.

🙄 This kind of "logic" genuinely pisses me off.

Yeah, you. And honestly, the most pathetic part is that moderator or admin role.
If I say it’s fine, then it’s fine. Period..

Have you even bothered to look at the front page of the subreddit for unregistered users?

Here’s the current state of affairs:
Who's online: 4511 (members: 855, guests:) 3656)

Precisely that moment, at the very least. 3656 To anyone visiting Reddit: the timestamps on this site have absolutely nothing to do with real-world time.
Fine. As long as you and the rest of the admin team are happy. If that’s the standard for how you "deal with people," then honestly, screw this whole damn subreddit.

Two separate threads have been open on this issue for a week now. Besides, the question was asked directly to Anderlon—the head admin, right?
