Right. Reminds me of when Black Stone absolutely kicked ass against Attila at Waterloo.🙄
Bring back Barlow!
Actually, on second thought, don't bring him back. Just let the guy live his life; he doesn't deserve to step back into this absolute dumpster fire. Now I spend my whole day mourning Metallica and blasting those old, classic albums in memory of a legend. Rest in pieces.
Yeah, as a Metallica fan, I picked up Manifest Destiny a few days ago. Great. So today, while I'm working, I pop the CD into my laptop and hit play on the first track. Hmm, that rhythm feels way too familiar... and then it hits me—The Star-Spangled Banner. At first, I thought my crappy laptop speakers were just glitching, but nope, I wasn't that lucky. Basically, the new Metallica album is the equivalent of three-week-old horse manure wrapped in the American flag. It’s just an overload of mindless patriotism, sucking up to Bush, and spitting on terrorists who are actually true sons of the homeland. It's funny how they had albums after 2001, but not one of them mentioned the fall of the Twins or the holy struggle of the great American people, yet now—right after Barlow left—they've suddenly started singing about it. I can't even remember the exact reasons he bailed, but I know something had to do with the fall of the Twins and this whole mess, blah blah blah... Honestly, it feels like he knew exactly what Schaffer was planning for this new record and bolted just to save his voice from being wasted.
Not sure if anyone else is feeling this, so let me know what you think. Even if nobody replies, whatever, I just had to vent—this stuff hit me so hard I can't even describe it. Metallica is a legend, and I seriously did not expect this from them... Actually, I haven't even heard the rest of the songs, because I chucked the CD against the wall the second I heard the first instrumental and read the lyrics. SUCKS BIG TIME!
This movie is definitely tastier than the last one, but I’m still leaning towards parodies like pistol goal. Still, it isn't bad—actually, it's pretty good, unlike the second one which was just trash !!!!!
I'm gonna kick all your asses. You think that's funny? You judging me based on how small I am? Big mistake. My ally is the Farce... wait, I mean the Force. And trust me, it's a heavy hitter. Talk like this, I do.
All of you love to brag about watching Star Wars '77 or whatever, acting like you're some big experts. But here’s the reality check: without me, there wouldn't even be a Star Wars! I'm the reason George Lucas even dreamed up Star Wars (well, at least that one Jedi part). The second he caught a whiff of my Force aura—realized I was Force sensitive—the guy practically fell to his knees begging for help. To be fair, he wasn't seeing me physically, just my astral projection (since I was basically one with the Force back then).
The light side, within me is. Strong it is. And if strike me down you will, more powerful than you could ever imagine will I become. Yeah, hehehe.

So what, if I drop someone's mom, God, and a stripper in the same sentence—especially during a prayer—his mother suddenly gives birth to a new Messiah?
Good movie, fun, definitely more fun than Johnny English, but both are basically just cash grabs for the lead actors (Jim / Rowan).
If movies are just vehicles for the leads, then Rowan would be scrubbing floors under that wannabe comedian. Still, the guy is Black Swan.
(while we totally ignore the fact that he's Mr. Bean this time around 😁)
I actually really dug Resident Evil. Honestly, watching those gorgeous zombies lunging everywhere while people scramble to get away was such a trip. It was easily one of the funniest movies I've seen in a minute. I almost wet myself. Did I say *almost*? Well...
Black Sabbath—no doubt about it! It’s all because of Paradise Lost.
Is there actually a single Metallica fan on this entire board? Or am I just out here on my own?
Anyone happen to know how many Metallica tracks there are total? I’ve got 89 sitting in my playlist right now (covering: Live at Wembley, 2 & 3, Black Sabbath, Fear Factory, Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Stephen King). Am I missing anything major? (Can't be bothered to hunt through their official site myself).
I can't remember if I already brought this up, but I seriously need to vent about this again: The way they just straight-up ignore the emotion chip in Star Trek: Nemesis drives me absolutely insane! It was right there in Generations, it was in First Contact, it was even in Insurrection, but then we get to fucking Nemesis and suddenly Data doesn't have an emotion chip? And to top it all off, he looks those three right in the face and says, "But, Enterprise-bitch, I do not have emotions." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? That is three strikes of pure inconsistency right there.
And yeah, I'm calling it—Creepingov’s prophecies are coming true. The real disaster hasn't even hit yet. Just wait until Bush starts messing around and gets his hands on that big bad red button... Thus spoke Andrew Williams.
That sounds like the only logical move to me. Why the hell would you waste resources fighting the Republic over a handful of solar systems when you could just grab a chunk of territory—uh, space—and live in peace? But hey, rapidstag74 might have a point here 😁; it’s pretty wild that the Empire managed to hold it together for 20 years without an Emperor. Maybe I’m just old school, but isn't it basically a requirement for any nation calling itself a Kingdom to actually have a King?
I’m thinking maybe in some later Expanded Universe book or whatever, William Morris2 gathers up what's left of the Empire and tries once again in some totally pointless attempt to crush the Republic and turn it into a complete circus.
rapidstag74 loves to push my buttons. 😁 Look, New York City would have all those Jedi flipping to The Other Side just by looking at them with that wild gaze and hairy chest, and then they'd go out and wipe out every single Imperial, Republican, and Liberal Democrat in the Star Wars universe!

You took the words right out of my mouth. If Q just decided to snap his fingers, there wouldn't be a Star Wars left!
But, if we keep Q out of it, Star Wars would definitely come out on top (despite what my avatar might suggest 😁). Though, the showdown I actually want to see is Grand Admiral Thrawn vs. Star Trek. Let's see what those Admirals of the Federation, Gul Dukats, and whatever other space-faring leaders can actually do against a tactical genius like him—even if he eventually gets screwed over, because hey, nobody's perfect.
