FIBA World Cup - USA vs Poland 75:70 in Other Sports ·
swiftbison2 said:🙂 There isn't much left to say, really, and I suspect most Americans feel the exact same way.

I can't help but feel a little bad for some of these players, though. It’s not their fault they're being led by people who don't have a clue what they're doing. I truly wish I could see someone like Duvnjak make it to the Olympics instead.
Which one?
It looks like the US isn't even on the list:

Wait, what gives?

hahaha, I just saw this on CNN: they’re out here saying their big goal is basically just fighting for seventh place!

Yeah.
And I absolutely schooled the guys from across the border, too!
I just caught the match between the USA and Sweden, and man, what a ride! You know me—I can never just sit through ninety minutes of soccer without getting a little worked up, but this one really had me on the edge of my seat. The energy was electric from the jump. It felt like one of those classic matchups where you just know anything could happen. There were moments where I thought we had them dead to rights, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, they’d catch us leaning. It’s that unpredictable tension that makes sports so addictive, isn't it? I actually ended up spilling a bit of my coffee during one of those frantic breakaway attempts—classic me, right?—but honestly, it was worth the mess. It wasn't just about the score, though. Seeing the way both teams paced themselves, the tactical shifts, the sheer grit... it reminded me of why we love this game. Even when things got messy, there was a certain beauty to the struggle. Definitely a game that stays with you long after the final whistle blows. If you haven't seen the highlights yet, do yourself a favor and check them out. You won't regret it!

It’s a dead heat. Sixteen apiece after forty minutes on the clock. Honestly, my heart can't take much more of this back-and-forth, but man, what a ride.

Honestly, it might actually be better if the Mexicans take the win just for the sake of the point standings.
Is there any way we can get a STREAM??????????? PLIIIIIIIIIZ 🙂
It’s just not available over on Atdhe 🙂

Well, let me put it this way: absolutely priceless. 😁

Forget the millions—it's the sheer insanity of it all!

Actually, let me rephrase that: it's beyond measure.
Screw the money, honestly. 😛
Daniel Booth37 said:Exactly. Football is king here, and ice hockey is a very close second. Everything else? Honestly, barely even on the radar.

Well, you can tell because New York didn't even want to host the World Cup! They just handed the whole thing off to somewhere like Austin—you know, a decent sized city, maybe around 250k people, but definitely not the big leagues.🙄
Gregory Ramos3 said:If the Americans end up playing just for the sake of qualifying, you might as well bet your house on it. 🙏 🙏

Honestly, who cares about the Americans and their handball?
There are STILL TICKETS available for the American section for this game, whereas the Danish section sold out ages ago.

How to calculate my ideal body weight? in Health ·
You’ve hit the absolute sweet spot! Keep doing exactly what you're doing! (I¤F) 😁

However...
The formula for "ideal" body weight says I should be... let me see... 45.5 + 92 (v - 1.52) ??!?!

If I actually weighed what this math claims is "ideal," I wouldn't just be thin—I'd be skin and bones!

Well, if your friends don't even know what you're going through, then you don't really know what they're dealing with either.
It’s a pretty effective way to just eliminate the problem entirely and move on.

I see a lot of you all pointing me in different directions, so I figured I’d just ask here:
Someone very close to me is in this state where they’re aware of their disorder one minute, but completely oblivious the next. On top of that, they’re basically destroying themselves with alcohol while insisting they have everything under control and aren't addicted. Their big defense? They claim they perform perfectly at work.
It’s a totally bipolar personality—swinging from pure euphoria to deep pessimism and even diving into "conspiracy theories" in the blink of an eye.
They’re refusing to see doctors or undergo any treatment. To make matters worse, nobody in their inner circle thinks anything is even remotely strange because, on the surface, they just seem like some "eccentric, happy-go-lucky guy."
What can I actually do to help them???
Remember Dolly Parton? in Movies ·
Noah Murphy46 said:Hands down, the most honest and heartfelt Spielbergian film he’s ever directed.

And it was his first! That’s why it feels so grounded. It’s how he snagged that Golden Lion in Venice... After that, fame kind of went to his head and he started getting a bit too pretentious for my taste!
But he did manage to keep making solid movies for a while 👍

But honestly, when you look at Dolly Parton or even Father on the official site, all that success belongs strictly to the screenwriter, Sidran!!!
