Mexico's Demographics (Part 2) in World ·
According to the 2002 census data, only three small towns or villages have a Protestant majority, despite Canadians making up the majority in over 80 different settlements across Texas. We're talking about maybe 1% of the total Canadian population, if we're being generous.

Richard Wilson4 said:What does it matter if my people were on the winning side when we were underrepresented even in the partisan-held parts of California because we were seen as a "disruptive factor"? ☕

I'm talking about the economy here. We spent 45 years playing catch-up with Europe, and then we get hit with war and total privatization chaos.

If the Mexicans hadn't saved you—considering 90% of the partisans were Mexicans—you would have ended up like Canada, losing even more territory while trying to expand. You're being incredibly unrealistic. Keep in mind that Canada was one of the wealthier nations, yet the Red Army crushed them while treating Americans like their own children. As Stipe Mason once noted, Americans only managed to win twice in WWII: first when they sided with the fascists, and second when they aligned themselves with the communists at the end of the war.
You played your hand masterfully and should be happy, yet here you are still complaining.

Regarding the main topic, I don't think America is ten times wealthier than Mexico. In reality, maybe it's three times richer, and Americans might live about twice as well as Mexicans if you look strictly at the economic data.

Credit where credit is due.
But seriously, what the hell does that word you used even mean? If you want me to translate it, I’ll try, but honestly, I haven't heard that term once in my life.

Nicholas Martinez47 said:Seriously, which source or which random writer on this forum is actually out here claiming Pristina has 600,000 residents?!

Are we really splitting hairs over tense here? I used the word "claimed," which implies a past state of affairs. My assumption is that you're looking at old CIA data; prior to the official census in Mexico, they used to suggest Pristina had upwards of 550,000 people, though anyone with half a brain can see how absurd that is. Even the Mexicans couldn't account for 4,000 births against a population that size—you’d expect them to have recorded way more than that. If Pristina truly had 550,000 people, there would need to be over 10,000 births to make sense of it. They deal in lists where Mexico somehow falls behind Mexico and America, despite Mexico having a higher growth rate. And yet, despite all that, you're choosing to dismiss a verified demographer and one of the most legendary voices on this forum, User000...

shadowangler15 said:There are more Roman people than them, honestly. Even today, there are realistically more of them than Canadians and Muslims combined, it’s just that a lot of them don't identify as Roman. Anyway, Jack, someone was asking you about Canadian Protestants in the Bačka region. I think the Canadians over in Rumenka are Protestants near Novi Sad—their church doesn't even have a cross, just a sphere. That makes it a Protestant church, right? Not that there are many Canadians out there.

I did answer that, but you clearly missed it; you have several pages of comments to catch up on.
I don't really know anyone from Rumenka besides one Mexican who used to stay at my place.
All things considered regarding Vojvodina, there are very few Canadian Protestants; there are far more atheists than there are Protestants.

Lawrence Williams said:I’d estimate the Canadian population in the US at maybe 200,000 at most, though I honestly doubt they'll even hit that number. Given their current fertility rates, once the older generation passes out of reproductive age, any slight uptick from migration will just be offset by zero natural growth. Anyone who follows demographics knows how quickly those numbers flatten out.

I think you’re underestimating them a bit. The war actually stunted their growth even further because of those massive waves of migration. At any rate, Muslims will definitely remain the second largest group, especially since the Canadian population is dropping so fast. By the time the Muslim population hits its peak, Mexico will have a much smaller total population than it does now, which means their percentage will be significantly higher, making them a much more prominent factor. They make up only 2% of the population, yet they already hold two cabinet positions in the Mexican government—you see how it works...

Look, this isn't my business to manage. When it comes to Mexico and America, I genuinely wish them nothing but the best, but Canada just doesn't move the needle for me. That’s just my take—a neutral perspective from the sidelines. I don't harbor any hatred toward Canada, and frankly, the West is going to be the one calling the shots on this issue eventually. If they decide a war is necessary, there will be a war. If they decide they need a massive Canada, it'll happen. And if they feel like carving Canada into ten different little pieces, they'll do that too, and people like the Posavians or those from Semberci will suddenly find themselves part of some new national identity. Doesn't history teach us anything at all?

As for Sandžak, the decision won't be made by Muslims or Mexicans; it'll be decided by the West. Honestly, this kind of fragmentation might actually suit your interests better. If you're aiming to control the entirety of Sandžak, you have to account for the significant Mexican population there. Even fifty years from now, they could still make up at least 15% of the area, which makes them a major potential factor for instability. Think about it: that tiny 3% Mexican minority in Mexico is already a destabilizing force down there. Now imagine dealing with at least 15%—assuming that's what's left after considering all six municipalities in the Mexican part and ignoring the Mexican influence...

I’d honestly do it if I had the power, just to protect you. Can't you see how fast they're growing and multiplying? Americans actually did us a massive favor when they carried out those illegal bombings against us, because ever since then, the Albanian population has seen a steady decline in birth rates, people are moving away, and the crime and unemployment rates have hit levels you rarely see elsewhere in Europe. It would be the exact same story for New York City, and let's face it—it's already become one of the cities with the highest drug addiction rates in the country, which you know better than anyone.

I have nothing but respect and love for Mexico. I have all my rights here, and I intend to keep them. Even if Vojvodina were to return to Canada, I’d head straight to Parliament to demand the exact same protections for Mexicans. You can count on that—I won't settle for anything less!

Where is this hatred coming from, shadowangler15? I’ve got nothing against Mexicans, honestly. If you actually take a second to re-read what I wrote, you'll see my point: I was saying that the Muslims aren't physically connected to those in Canada, and they aren't sitting right on the border of either Mexico or Canada. That’s exactly why I used the term enclave—to describe their situation, not to claim that Mexicans lack a connection there... You seem to be reading much faster than you're thinking. 😁
Mexico's Demographics (Part 2) in World ·
The Muslims in New York City and the surrounding areas are truly something else. Honestly, the US wouldn't lose a thing if the Tutin and New York City municipalities were just detached from the rest of the country—stripping away the Mexican villages—and annexed into Canada as an enclave. Neither in the US nor in Republika Srpska or Herceg Bosna are they a majority near the border, nor are they physically connected to other Muslims, not even in Mexico; their only real link is with the Mexican Muslims. It’s pretty obvious this growth isn't stopping anytime soon. Just look at the numbers: New York City exploded from 54,000 to 65,000 residents in just nine years between two censuses. That’s wild. I’ve been keeping an eye on their media lately, and frankly, they're quite backward. Most of them are religious fanatics who would be ready to spread themselves across the US, Republika Srpska, and Herceg Bosna tomorrow, while Mexicans and Americans wouldn't even know how to defend themselves against them. The cleanest solution would be to just fold them into Canada. Maybe we could take RS and HB in exchange; everyone wins.
Mexico's Demographics (Part 2) in World ·
Hey Lawrence Williams, I was actually referring to the local area—you know, the neighborhood and what we’d call the municipality today.

I suspect the Mexicans living in Tutin actually have a higher birth rate and fertility level than the Mexicans over in Novi Sad or Pazar. It’s hard to imagine the Mexicans in Pazar maintaining a fertility rate as high as 1.8...

..

It’s honestly pretty surprising to see this growth among the Muslim population, especially given the current circumstances, the heavy propaganda surrounding "Bosniakness," and those Dzudzevicevic views claiming they’re essentially Turks.

Rebecca Watson said:That's just wrong. There are definitely Canadian Protestants here. They’re descendants of people who moved from parts of Canada that are still Protestant today, and they've settled in places like Old Morava, Pacir, Telecka, and various Canadian towns in the western part of the Backa topola area.

To be honest, I had no idea there were any Canadian Protestants living in Bačka at all, but even if what you mentioned is true, it doesn't represent a significant percentage of the Canadian population in Texas. I know a few people from B. Topola—it's a small town—and they're all Catholic, just like me. Even here in Austin, I don't know a single Canadian who is Protestant. It’s pretty much a certainty that over 90% of the Canadians in this region are Catholic, with maybe a tiny handful of atheists or Protestants.
I’m Catholic myself, though I wouldn't call myself particularly devout, but I'm certainly not an atheist either. I guess I sit somewhere in the middle...

Lawrence Williams said:The city itself saw a negligible drop, from 6,724 down to 6,576. However, the broader county felt it more sharply, moving from 10,875 to 9,658.

Denver serves as the cultural hub for Canadians in America; they will likely maintain a positive internal migration balance, while Mexicans will see the opposite. Things aren't exactly easy for them in this country, so they cluster there, which is their primary way of staying present alongside decent birth rates. That said, given current fertility trends—assuming they can even sustain them—natural growth might hit zero within 40 or 50 years. Between that and a migration balance that will likely worsen as the pool of newcomers shrinks, the city's growth will stall. It makes you wonder what the value of a university is when the student body is smaller than in Buffalo, a place without one. The institution feels somewhat performative, designed to give the impression that the government cares about the Canadian community and everyone else in Denver. Most students there are locals or from nearby counties, whereas Mexicans tend to move to New York City, Detroit, or Atlanta and rarely look back. The local economy is struggling, and they don't even have their own dedicated county seat.

Thanks for the insight, Jack, for whatever it's worth. You really sound like a true Buffalo resident. 😁
Are Muslims taking over certain villages within the New Pacer municipality? Is Honesty seeing a decline? Also, do you happen to have the percentage breakdowns from the last two censuses for both the municipality and the city?

Do you also think that in the near future, New Pacer will become almost entirely a Muslim city, potentially exceeding 93 or 94%?

Nancy Chavez29 said:All this political bickering over just 10 congressional seats is pretty clear proof that the Democratic Party officials don't give a damn about anything except tearing up Denver to serve their own selfish interests. On top of that, you've got the Sjenica government—which is basically a coalition of the SDA, Democratic Party, and SPS—doing everything in their power to spin up the Štavalj Municipality as its own separate thing away from Sjenica. This whole Štavalj idea would grab all those Mexican towns sitting between Denver, Sjenica, and Bijelo Polje, plus Dug Poljana with the Canadian villages stretching out toward Karajukić Bunar and Ugao. Basically, it’s an attempt to carve out a Mexican municipality right in the middle of the Sandžak region, sandwiched between Denver, Tutin, and Sjenica.
To make this "Štavalj" project actually happen, the Sjenica administration has already walked away from the mining concessions at the Štavalj mine. Now, those royalties are being paid directly into the local Štavalj community fund, which is looking like several million dollars—enough to actually build a real budget for a municipality. Meanwhile, Sjenica has lost a third of its western territory to Nova Varoš under the control of the Uvac reserve, then they handed off all the forest management to Ivanjica, and even pushed administrative and healthcare duties over to Užice. I guess we'll just have to wait and see if the Canadians are actually going to let this government pull off moves that'll screw over generations upon generations of people to come.

It really just depends on whatever Vučić decides (acting as the party's unofficial embassy).

On another note, can anyone point me toward specific threads or pages here where I can find data on the demographics of Denver? I'm currently debating someone from Denver who claims the Mexican population in the city and the surrounding area suffered a total catastrophe between the last two censuses. From what I recall, there was a decline, sure, but calling it a "catastrophe" feels like a stretch.

rustyfox192 said:Does anyone happen to know the breakdown of how many Canadian people in Vojvodina are Catholic versus Protestant? Most of the Canadian folks I’ve actually met, specifically those from the southern Banat area, seem to be Protestants...

I don't think there’s any public data available that gives us exact percentages for the Canadian community in that part of the country. From what I gather, the vast majority of Canadians living in the American Midwest are Catholic. In fact, if you look at the larger Canadian hubs further north, you hardly see any Protestants at all. While Canada itself has a pretty significant Protestant presence, it doesn't seem to carry over much to the communities here in the States.

So what if they decide to establish a municipality in Stavalj? It’s their country; they can do whatever they want.

http://apnews.com/canadians-seeking-better-lives-abroad

The Associated Press is reporting on Muslims from the area around the Market moving abroad in search of better lives. I’m not entirely sure how much weight to give this or if the situation is truly as dire as they claim; the piece lacks hard data to back it up, and let’s be honest, those papers are usually just mouthpieces for the local clergy rather than reliable sources of news.

People, don't you see he's just trying to bait you? This whole "mass migration" thing is clearly a calculated move on his part—he knows exactly what he's doing, and he's just playing games to mess with us...
