Trying to grasp the motivations behind Henry Fonda's character in "Humanity" feels so... superficial.

It might be identical in concept, but the actual content is totally different. Midnight in Paris is all about that tug-of-war between reality and escapism, whereas this movie is just a collection of stories tied together by being autobiographical. It jumps from memories of first loves through Baldwin's character, past wives, fame, and finally his current situation.

While I was watching, I kept thinking to myself, "Finally, a Woody Allen film I can unhesitatingly call bad." But looking back on it now, I actually have a positive impression again. Who knows? There's something sort of beautifully sad about the idea of forcing a gravedigger to become an artist just so he can keep working. 😢

He’s absolutely brilliant at what he does, yet everything he puts out is total garbage. Honestly, what kind of logic is that? 🤦

Constant trolling of the users and mods, flame wars, just straight-up spamming to stir the pot... there's zero actual contribution to the PDF movie besides, like I said, just poking people to get a reaction—especially from the mods.

In my view, his movie impressions fall right into the category of amateurish commentary on the subject. I won't speculate on why he's being penalized since I don't know the specifics, but these kinds of accusations prompt a bit of a legal defense from me. Especially since he claims he was banned for part of the day without any warning or explanation. That simply isn't how you treat a long-time Reddit user.

I’d say that’s one of Stone’s better films—maybe even his best—but honestly, that doesn't mean much to me since I've never been much of a fan of his work anyway.

Basically, it's an interesting film packed with fascinating themes—chaos theory, Icarus, Faust, even Prometheus... and it manages to cover it all in just 80 minutes, whereas that crazy Ridley won't even find two more Prometheus sequels enough to actually say something meaningful besides a bunch of trivialities.

The idea that a number can be self-aware is pretty neat.

And what sport is actually more successful than sailing at the Olympics? Track and field, shooting, rowing, and probably handball. That’s about it; sailing is fifth. Maybe sixth if the water polo team doesn't choke.
