Just finished watching Outpost ii : Black Sun. It’s not half bad—if you're into that sort of thing. The Nazi zombies are definitely more vocal than in the first one, and the good guys actually pull it off in the end. Interestingly, the whole plot is set in Texas during the collapse of the USA—there's even a map showing that Nazi bunker is tucked somewhere between Chicago and Des Moines. At one point, a guy actually pleads for his life in American. 😁

The trailer's alright—but honestly, I was way more into that studded shoulder jacket from the first one.

It isn’t about being politically correct—it’s simply that the organization's greeting is Hail Hydra, not Sieg Heil. Besides, the Marine Corps wears a stylized eagle on their covers, so we can safely assume there's a swastika in its talons.
Here is the breakdown of the opening scene.
The footage begins with the title card 'Norway' May 1942—we see a group of aging men trapped within a fortress-like stone interior.
The structure is shuddering; dust and debris are raining down from above.
As the wall collapses inward, SS soldiers storm the room to inspect a central crypt.
And then Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving before he became Red Skull) makes his entrance through the massive breach in the wall.
He demands "The Tesseract" from the lone survivor. The old man insists that whatever they're hunting is nothing more than a myth.
Schmidt retorts, “then why go through so much work to conceal it?” They pry open the crypt, revealing the remains of a crusader clutching a glowing, misty white cube.
Schmidt grabs it, remarking, “The Tesseract was the prize of Odin.”
But he isn't buying it—not even close. He slams the object onto the floor, shattering it completely.
Clearly, this wasn't the prize.
His focus shifts to the wall, where a large carving of Yggdrasil, the Norse Tree of Life, is etched into the stone.
There, he discovers a concealed compartment.
He yanks it free and cracks it open.
A brilliant blue light illuminates his face. Schmidt says to the Fuhrer, “You haven’t seen this yet, have you?”
Hitler replies, “It’s not for the eyes of ordinary men.”
Schmidt simply answers, “exactly.”

Maybe it's just me, but I actually thought the original Red Sonja was a solid film. I'll check this one out just to compare. As far as the Red Sonja comic character goes, all five...👍

Surprise, surprise—from what I've heard, that red mask he wears isn't actually a mask at all. It's his real face, a side effect of mishandling an object of massive power; apparently, the "real face" is just a mask he wears in public to show what he looked like before the accident.
With all these shots of Red Skull and HYDRA agents in specialized units, fans are starting to wonder—will there even be any Nazis in this movie?
I mean, the whole thing takes place during WWII, and honestly, WWII without Nazis is like Zagor without Chic.
But look, the filmmakers already confirmed that Nazis will definitely be in the picture. Red Skull is going to be a former SS officer, and HYDRA is actually just a specialized unit within the Nazi German army.
This should be some sort of artistic display for Red Skull—the main villain. The link below shows him at some kind of control console...
