On Being and its components in Spirituality ·
So, we're all just "silent" gods.
On Being and its components in Spirituality ·
Yes, solely from the self. There is only the Process. Every decision you make, every awakening, every "vicious cycle," every illusion you cling to—it all belongs to the Process. It is integrated into the Process. It is the Process itself.

Your physical body alone is the Process—the process of thinning and thickening the vibration of physical-metaphysical matter at the quantum level across various frequencies... higher or lower. Depending on the... Process. For truth, the Process must complete its work. The Process has nothing else to do but move forward—with "you" or without "you."

It is up to "you" to cease being "you." But even that isn't up to "you"—the Process will handle that. And it is happening right now.

Therefore, whatever you do, you are doing the PROCESS. Because there is nothing the Process is not "involved" in.

We are all Gods.

Exactly. Focus on your own intuition.

Michael Diaz6 said:I've spent years studying how people tick, and I can say this with total confidence:

The ones who are overly sensitive, constantly showering you with attention and big emotions? They usually don't have much else to bring to the table, so they overcompensate.
Then you've got the people who seem cold or detached—those are the ones who actually have something valuable to offer, which is exactly why they’re careful about losing it or handing it to the wrong person.

People ALWAYS act the complete opposite of how they present themselves.
Every single time. Life is just one big masquerade ball.

Exactly right.

If you focus on a specific behavior, you'll end up doing the exact opposite because you're still acting from an old pattern. Everything you propose as concrete, realistic behavior is merely your "idea of focusing" on your behavior.
Focus is just an idea... it lives in your head, not in your actions.

Focus isn't change. Focus is a static vision of change. What actually changes things is presence. Or, more accurately: focusing on presence.
Struggling with impulse control in Psychology ·
Yes, we’re aware. We aren't just looking for observations here; we're looking for solutions. Throw some ideas on the table.
Struggling with impulse control in Psychology ·
First, understand that his behavior isn't about you. It’s entirely about him. You’ve essentially become his emotional outlet—the one he dumps all his deep-seated, internal trauma onto. He does it unconsciously, oblivious to the fact that he’s hurting you. What he can't face is his own pain, so he runs from it. One way he does that is through this aggression toward everyone around him... which is really just aggression directed at himself.

So, is it clear what he actually needs most?
Your response should be peace, not a defensive reaction.

How do you even approach someone like that?
Don't take the insults or the nonsense personally; they aren't personal. What he does is about him; what matters regarding you is how you choose to respond.
Think about what your response would be, rather than just reacting. Just keep that in mind. Be the response. He can't actually do anything to you. There's no reason to fear people like this—they just bark and keep barking because they enjoy it.

Respond with calm. Stay by his side, but don't get pulled into his mess. Act as partners while you talk. If he starts complaining, fine—just look at the situation itself first, rather than focusing on who is reacting to it. Stay "cool." Try to steer an aggressive conversation toward a constructive discussion about solving the actual problem. Simply "hold your ground" calmly; the key is just being yourself. That will definitely make an impact when the boss notices something is off; "your response". He won't get what he wanted, but he might just get what he actually needs.
What's your "why"? in Psychology ·
you're saying a person needs certain predispositions... specific personality traits to even pursue self-development or aim for higher goals.

Not really. It isn't that rigid. Anyone capable of following their intuition has the necessary predisposition. Higher goals are essentially just the process of discovering those internal "predispositions." Pursuing higher purposes is, in truth, simply the act of tending to oneself.

I feel like spiritual growth is sometimes triggered simultaneously from both the outside and the inside... as if life circumstances and events unfold in alignment with the shifts happening within us.

Exactly.

inner peace... I have to admit I haven't achieved it as a constant state. It mostly appears in flashes... in the interstices... in those moments when I am not "there"... when I forget to think... when emotional energies accidentally find balance... when I lose sight of all the traps of identity... in those moments, there is no sense of feeling, need, or desire... nothingness and everything merge... but these moments are elusive and fade quickly...
susceptibility to circumstances... I've never truly defined what "circumstances" actually are in the context of life and existence... whether they are imposed, constructed, designed... whether we choose them and to what extent... looking at my life from a distance, it seems most things were not my choice... yet I refuse to let these circumstances mold me... even if they feel overwhelming...
quiet with myself... of all things in life, this is the only thing that has always come naturally to me... ever since I can remember, I find the necessary energy, freedom, and knowledge in solitude... in solitude, I purify myself and find myself... I assemble the broken pieces... search for lost fragments... it's the only time I don't feel alone... isolated... detached... in a crowd, in society, I feel scattered... I need solitude to hear the silence... I haven't reached a state where I can maintain this regardless of my environment...
how I observe the world... I have a need to simultaneously dissect the details and see the whole picture... everything surrounding me fascinates me... I watch the world and look for threads of connection... how everything that exists is similar... growing up, I was taught what was allowed and what wasn't... what was good, what was bad... why things are the way they are... I could never accept information as absolute truth... I always rejected truths that persist only because they are held by the majority... or because people are too cowardly to constantly tear down and rebuild their own value systems... I watch the world and see only its surface... I want to know what lies beneath that illusion of solidity...
whether I love myself unconditionally... the only kind of love I can comprehend is one that is unconditional and absolutely free... people who claim to love themselves don't love themselves—not their core, not their essence—because they have never descended to that level... they float at the level of the identity and ego they identify with... I haven't met a single person who can set aside all identifications and categorizations, all status and power, and everything they think they represent in this world... to be able to say they know who they are and that they love themselves...
so... I love myself... not my body, my identity, or the reflection of what others think of me... I love my essence... I know my core... and I see it in everything that exists...

Very beautiful. You "see" very well... you are conscious of consciousness itself, and it can only go from here. Just take it easy... it's relaxing, and it's also energizing.
Why do we feel the need to hide our emotions? in Psychology ·
Why does the urge to hide emotions arise?

Because that impulse isn't random. But first, we need to define what an emotion actually is. An emotion is energy in motion: E - MOTION. Emotion is fuel; it is the driver of thought. What emerges from the mind is fueled by emotion.

Emotions are simply words in a different energetic form.
So, for the same reason we hide our thoughts, we hide our emotions.
But what about feelings?
Feelings are the response of your heart. They represent who you truly are.
When thoughts and emotions are in harmony, they act as the catalyst for feelings.

There is a certain primal reason why we feel the need to mask our thoughts and emotions: it’s because the two are not intended for external display. They are tools—tools used to absorb and filter the world around us, bringing that energy toward the center: our heart. The heart then generates feelings based on the purity of that filtration—producing an electromagnetic field a thousand times stronger than the brain.

For those struggling with suppressed emotions, the solution is to accept the FEELING of suppression itself. Look, this isn't about the emotions themselves.
A universal rule: whenever a FEELING arises, you accept it. Not the emotion. A feeling is how you perceive yourself; an emotion is how you perceive someone or something else.

Therefore, once you accept the feeling of being suppressed, you suddenly relax... because you stop fighting the suppression. You surrender to it, and it vanishes. In practical terms: when you struggle to be "unsuppressed," you create a counter-effect, generating tension that makes being unsuppressed impossible.

Feelings are the language of the soul, the language of the heart. Your heart. When you accept your feelings, you accept yourself. And there is something beautiful about that... accepting your own heart... accepting yourself. Then, you become whole. Complete. From that point on, there is no more suppression of expression—because you KNOW that you are being YOU in the communication. That is what people lack—they don't have enough self-knowledge to be sure they are complete, ready for life, for happiness, or for peace.
What's your "why"? in Psychology ·
northernsailor102 said:I have these bigger ambitions, but in this reality, they don't seem to carry any weight at all. I find myself desperately grasping for a reason to face each new day... and honestly, I just can't find one. I wish I could just take it easy and go with the flow, but I'm constantly suffocating under this immense pressure that's nearly impossible to shake off. I truly cannot wrap my head around the idea of just living day by day without being able to see the larger purpose behind my own existence.

Let go of the heights. Return to the ground. Ground yourself. Zero field. Stop reaching upward. STOP.
Do you know why you feel PRESSURE? It’s the pressure of Life; it’s the pressure of the flow. But life isn't pressing down on you—you are feeling pressure because of a MISALIGNMENT with life. That is what you experience as pressure.
Align yourself with the flow of things. Accept. Don't reach for anything. Just be where you are. Don't create an massive burden for yourself when you haven't even lifted the small one yet.

You say you have higher goals? Fine. That's fine. But ask yourself now: what kind of person—someone possessing those higher goals—must they be in terms of their character and personal growth?

For instance... would inner peace be a characteristic of such a person?
Would such a person be at the mercy of circumstances?
Would they know how to be quiet within themselves?
How would that person view the world? How would they have to view everything that exists?
Does that person love themselves unconditionally, serving as an inspiration to others through their very existence?

Essentially, once you answer what kind of person would need to be to carry the weight of higher life goals, you will see the gap between that person and yourself. That gap is what causes your "tension."

That distinction, from here to there, is precisely that pressure. It is an internal, psychological illusion of trying to force "here" and "there" together.
But you can't do that.

Stop reaching for the heights. It isn't time yet. Can't you see you're struggling? That is Life telling you: "stop, don't go, stop. Slow down... slow down. Just easy. All great things happen slowly... like nature—it moves slowly, but it accomplishes everything."

The problem is trusting that... how do we trust a process we aren't even sure follows that pattern??
It's like this.
Look at where you are now, and look at where you were. Can you honestly say you haven't matured, realized, understood, survived, experienced, and learned things you weren't even aware of before?
That is exactly it. That is life—life moves, and you move with it. That is being supported by life. Even in moments when you didn't feel it, you pulled through, because life supports you so much that you have the freedom to believe whatever you want, yet you will still be SUPPORTED—because you are an INTEGRATED part of Life. You exist, and only life can exist; life is life itself, and it supports EXISTENCE. It supports you.

So, take it easy. Go slow. There is no rush... you have all of eternity. Masters know they have eternity, and from that security, they move slowly.
Fear of solo traveling in Psychology ·
Just like Michael Hernandez26 said: it’s all about practice and action. Lean into the fear. Step into that uncomfortable zone. Open up... let it happen. Just let it be. Life happens outside your comfort zone. Literally.
Let the fear take hold. That’s the point: be afraid. There’s nothing wrong with that. Just be free to feel it. Absorb the fear... surrender to it. Only then will you discover true invulnerability—once you actually allow yourself to be vulnerable. That’s the power of the paradox living inside you.

Tell yourself: "It's okay. This is just my mind trying to protect me the best way it knows how. I'll offer it peace, comfort, and love. Everything is fine. I understand that to get what I want, I have to give. To feel what I desire, I must first provide it for myself."
If you want to possess what you desire, you must first appreciate what you already have.
I don't trust anyone anymore... in Psychology ·
Don’t trust anyone but yourself. Everything people do, everything they live for, and everything they love—it’s all done for themselves, through themselves, and by themselves.
So, it isn't really about whether you trust someone or not. It's about whether that person reflects who I am back to me, serving as a tool for me to discover more of myself.

And if someone betrays you, it simply means they’ve moved on. They're sending you a final message, giving you one last gift: you experienced yourself through them for exactly as long as was necessary, because if it hadn't happened, it wouldn't have. Now, I'm moving on, leaving behind the space and the void for new opportunities to find myself again.

Just like the root of all human malice, the source here is nonexistence—a lack of feeling, awareness, and selfhood. It’s the core, and everything radiates from that center.
And so, that unfulfilled, unconscious blessing manifests in such a distorted way... or perhaps it doesn't manifest at all, merely attempting to force its way through the behavior of someone who isn't truly alive.
How do I break free from my own illusions? in Psychology ·
What you listed isn't an illusion. It all happened, it was all thought, and it was all felt during that same stretch of time. Then it ended—but that doesn't make it fake.
It just means it’s over.
It means it was real.
It means it was an experience.
It means it was a lesson. Though, what exactly is there to learn?
If the intentions and directions aren't aligned on both sides... then the situation is clear.

Then let go.
Let go of the illusion... but watch out for the real one, the one you're mistaking for reality.
The illusion is that you are suffering. You aren't. The idea of you is suffering.
That guy isn't the illusion; the illusion is your attachment to him, even though it's obvious things didn't work out.
Whether he will or won't doesn't matter. What matters is letting things be—and they will be what they are destined to be. Whatever is meant to happen, happens. And it has to happen that way, because if it didn't, it wouldn't be happening at all.

Understand, that is his choice. His freedom. He has the right to love whoever he wants and go wherever he wants. Just like you. Just like everyone else.
And you are "suffering" now because he didn't choose to love you? You are suffering because of a decision he made that has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with himself.
Everything we do, we do for ourselves. Everything. We are all selfish, whether we realize it or not. That's just how it is. And that's fine.

You are suffering because of yourself, because you have this concept of being a victim, and you're acting like one because he's gone and it's hurting you, for heaven's sake.
Discard all the illusions, especially the real ones, and ask yourself: how does his absence from your life actually harm you?
What does he have that you don't, which you supposedly need? What does he possess internally that you require? What do you think you're missing that he is meant to fulfill? Do you really believe you need him? You don't. Don't stress it. Being in "need" is its own damn illusion. Get over it.

All you need is the ability to LET GO of what no longer serves you, and to LOVE what liberates, inspires, and refreshes you.
Come on, what is serving your good, your peace, and your health right now in this so-called "suffering" for someone who let you go... while you destroy yourself in the process? If that's how you play it, then you don't even deserve to be loved or pursued by anyone if you're going to trample over yourself and play the martyr... who needs a martyr? There are too many of us like that... too many of us suffering over a past that's gone... instead of living here and now... instead of being reborn every single day.

Moving on; what do you need from him that you can't find within yourself?
HOW ARE YOU HURTING YOURSELF BY SUFFERING FOR LOVE? IS IT EVEN LOVE IF IT REQUIRES SUFFERING??? hellooo, what kind of madness is this!!

Are you truly so unremarkable and unique that, even though there is only one version of you, you won't offer that one single SELF some relief, some help, some release? Seriously, girl, aren't you worth it? Can't you feel that value... that gentleness... that sacred constancy... that honor in simply living? You are here and you exist because you matter! Everything in the universe matters, because if it didn't, it wouldn't exist.
You are here with purpose. But you have a choice: love, or wait for someone else to love you.
Love yourself FIRST, then others might follow. Use some logic.

But here is the best part; listen, let's break down the biggest illusion of all... namely:
YOU AREN'T SUFFERING FOR HIM, YOU ARE SUFFERING FOR YOURSELF!
You are suffering because you fail to feel yourself. And that is the source of all suffering—we fail to FEEL OURSELVES!
Observe yourself, listen to yourself, touch yourself, nurture yourself... do for yourself what you would do for a loved one. And that's it.

The soul? The soul hurts? How can you even be sure it’s the soul? An eternal, immortal soul... how could it feel pain?

Or maybe... maybe it's just some decaying illusion. A belief, or an idea about how things ought to be—or shouldn't be. Maybe it’s just the parts of you that aren't actually *you*... perhaps you're just slowly shedding everything that isn't your truth. Or... or...

.. and listen to this; once everything is finally cleared away—and it will be—the pain will stop.

Kevin Gomez10 said:Yes, it does seem quite nonsensical. I mean, I suppose the argument is that people might become more vulnerable if they share themselves with others, providing certain individuals with enough information during moments of weakness to potentially cause harm or injury, among other things.
But, in my estimation, that doesn't really seem to harm anyone or anything at all. 🤦

How exactly does information cause harm? Explain it to me. Where does it hit? Is there a specific body part, or am I going to start bleeding internally? Where? I’m looking all over myself for a spot where information is causing physical pain or injury, but I can't find anything.
Am I just a little slow? in Psychology & Therapy ·
It just doesn't work for me. It never has. I often get this feeling that I'm being intrusive, and that deep down, my conversational partners are actually hurt by my stories about myself. And many times, that’s turned out to be true.

That’s exactly my point. It comes down to your own self-perception. If you feel like you're being intrusive, then you *are* being intrusive—because that’s how you perceive yourself. It isn't about them.
It's you, not them, who feels wounded by your own narratives. But that's actually a good thing; you have the chance to fix it because you're aware. You can observe and learn.

That is the core of your issue: the difficulty of truly focusing on yourself. Speak and act—do everything—for your own sake. That's it. There's the wisdom.

I think it's because someone might expose a weakness of mine.

That makes people more exposed, and automatically more vulnerable.

Vulnerable? What's the harm in opening up? What on earth are we talking about here? Nonsense.

So now it sounds like we don't talk about ourselves because we don't love ourselves. In reality, it's precisely because I love myself that I don't want to talk about myself. Certain things will only be known by the chosen few who deserve to know. Everyone else is irrelevant. I couldn't care less about their opinions.

Let's try to frame it more accurately: let's swap "talking about oneself" with "expressing oneself."

"Because I love myself, I don't want to talk about myself," or "Because I love myself, I don't want to express myself"... it doesn't really hold water.
Am I just a little slow? in Psychology & Therapy ·
Your subconscious seems to believe that talking about yourself is selfish and pointless. That’s why you recoil from anyone who self-promotes—and honestly, you feel that same repulsion toward yourself.
But what makes self-expression bad? It’s only an issue if it becomes excessive (anything overdone is a flaw). Why couldn't sharing your story actually benefit someone else, offer fresh perspectives, build connections, or help you grow socially?

Selfishness? Loving oneself is a sin?? Give me a break. Here is the reality: LIVE AND WORK HOWEVER YOU WANT. That is your birthright, provided you actually allow yourself to claim it. And how much you'll permit depends entirely on how much value you place on yourself.
You’re associating those insults with your own identity? Start there. Once you resolve that, everything else will fall into place... naturally. From THEM, straight to YOU.
