Dr. Donna, it looks like you and I will most likely make this happen, assuming I can clear my schedule by then. Things are a bit hectic on my end right now, but I’d really love to come by and finally meet you. I’m going to touch base with Carl Rivera43 again soon, too. Just wanted to keep you both in the loop!

I honestly have no idea. Just let me know what you think.

No, wait. Sorry, I am just totally out of it today. I started smoking way too early this morning—haven't taken a break in four hours and my brain is absolute mush. Carl Rivera43 asked, "What location are we heading to?" and for some reason, my mind immediately jumped straight to that Pips song, "Sex in School." That’s where the line comes from.

Ma lady, where on earth are you located?!

But I really should stop acting so silly—I'm getting too old for this. 😬

Oh, stop it. You aren't old. You're actually in your prime.

Joseph Bailey41 said:That’s awesome. Did you ever try to charm people using that accent? It used to be such a huge thing. Usually, I’d just lean into the bit and pretend I was some nuclear physicist or the daughter of an alien hunter—something totally ridiculous. 🕺

You're really into those adventurous types, aren't you? Am I reading you right?

nimbleharbor46 said:What’s your take on this, Jose Ward4? If you were in my shoes, how would you handle it?

Honestly, I haven't a clue. We were previously trying to coordinate a meetup here with Carl Rivera43 and that Washingtonian guy. Just let me know what works for everyone.

I just had a sudden thought—I'm going to go whip up some pudding. I can't even decide if I want vanilla or chocolate. I saw strawberry at the store, but that doesn't really hit the spot for me. Probably sticking with vanilla.

You won't be around for the next couple of days. I'll leave Carl Rivera43 and Harold Anderson3 to handle things. Carl already knows the ropes.

Are you a fan of penguins?

Joseph Bailey41 said:If you actually had one, you wouldn't be wasting your time on this forum. 😛

Oh, please. I've got an even better question for you. Where would you be soaking up the sun right now? Because where I am, it’s definitely not happening.

Joseph Bailey41 said:If I actually had money, I wouldn't be wasting my time on an internet forum; I'd be out somewhere soaking up the sun on a yacht. 🤣

Now, what if I actually owned a yacht? Would you come sunbathing with me?

Chloe Flores83 said:Alright, Jose Ward4, we might not have Napoleon here, but we've got an alien joining the crew, which honestly sounds way cooler. And let's be real, that mysterious Jetty guy is actually pretty easy on the eyes (Visionary, how did you even track him down?). This is quite the group we've got going—everyone is such a character... Speaking of which, what if we all teamed up and wrote a book about our adventures? Like a crazy person's diary or something. It’d be a total bestseller and we'd all strike it rich! Thanks, Joseph Bailey41, you could totally be our resident therapist with a crystal ball, obviously. What do you guys think?

I think it's a fantastic idea, though execution is everything. Whether it actually hits the bestseller list is the real question. Everyone says you don't really become a writer until you've put out ten books, maybe more. The only catch is that Joseph Bailey41 would have to be our producer—assuming she's got the cash.

Hehehe. No, they definitely didn't. I've still got a mountain of work ahead of me. 😉

nimbleharbor46 said:Nobody's hating on you, man. All good, then—we'll see you in October. We'll let you know how everything went when you get back.

You guys are going to end up gathering together eventually. Someone else will definitely join the fold. If it doesn't happen at this little get-together, I promise you, it'll happen at the next one.

nimbleharbor46 said:Are you actually going to go through with what I told you?

Sent from my LG-H870 via Reddit

No, I'm not. 😁 Honestly, I already made up my mind to head out in October. Right now, work is just burying me alive and that's where all my energy is going. Please, don't hate me! I really need to manage my own schedule right now; it's the only way I stay sane. Don't be mad, please. I'm sticking to October. Between everything on my plate and the sheer volume of work, it's just not happening any sooner.

nimbleharbor46 said:Why didn't you just head in there sooner? You’re actually entitled to a free dental cleaning under your insurance. Honestly, if I were in your shoes, I would have shown up at the clinic first thing Monday morning and told her how much my teeth were absolutely killing me all weekend—basically tell her the pain was so intense I was actually scared. Once she gets you settled in the chair, she’ll start working right away; if she doesn't, you just have to be firm and insist. That’s just how you have to play the game when dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I'm assuming the provider is a woman.

Yeah, she is.

nimbleharbor46 said:Don't worry, we aren't going to judge you. Personally, I’m not the type to sit around judging anyone for anything, whether they're just hanging out or getting their pores cleaned up. If you know what I mean.

Do you have access to a dentist through your Blue Cross Blue Shield plan?

Sent from my LG-H870 using Reddit

Oh, I have coverage, it's just... I haven't actually seen a dentist in three years. Ever since my dad got sick, things just piled up and life got messy. I've got two teeth that definitely need to come out because I've absolutely wrecked them. Luckily they're just wisdom teeth, but even my front ones are starting to go—I've got some nasty coffee and cigarette stains on them now. Honestly, I'm only just finally getting my head above water enough to actually make an appointment.

Harold Anderson3 said:I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your father. 😢

If your tooth is actually hurting, please try to get it looked at as soon as possible. You really shouldn't be relying on painkillers for another month and a half.

Thankfully, nothing hurts right now. And I'm not on any painkillers.

Look, I’m going to pass on this one. Once I finally get my teeth sorted out, then I'll catch up with you guys. Right now, I just feel way too self-conscious about it.

Harold Anderson3 has some free time this weekend if you're looking to hang out and catch up.

Look, guys, I’ve got some bad teeth. I actually developed a cavity right on my front tooth. Are you all going to judge me? It's been rough. My dad passed away two years ago, and honestly, I'm only just starting to process everything. I spent a whole year straight just looking after him during his illness. Pretty sure it was cancer. I wanted to see a dentist back in October, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it before now.

Eric Ramos93 said:Why don't you just go ahead and walk away from me then? It’s none of your business who I choose to write to. It was the exact same thing when it happened with Sunny. I made a post that didn't sit right with you, and instead of minding your own business, you went running to defend the women. I know exactly what I said and exactly why I said it, and it isn't your job to act as the judge and jury here.

I can't even see you. You're on my Ignore list. All I see is that you posted something. Honestly, I think this is for the best right now.

Look, the reason I'm laying all this out is because there's a good chance I won't even make it. As for the rest of the crew—Donna, you’re good. Nobody shows up to these get-togethers just to pick on someone. It’s supposed to be chill. I know it might have sounded a bit ridiculous, like people were actually going to try and manipulate you, but that's not how it works. We just hang out and talk about whatever comes up.

I was honestly just poking fun at Saleta. I just figured if you had to pick someone to hang out with after one of these meetups, you'd probably end up choosing Saleta. That’s all I meant.
