Clomiphene usage/experiences? in Women's Health ·
Hey moms and moms-to-be, I need some advice. My cycles are regular, but ovulation isn't always a sure thing. We’re trying for our second kid, and a few months back, my doctor put me on Clomiphene from day 2 to day 6, along with 14 days of Duphaston. The thing is, I can't for the life of me remember when I was supposed to take the Duphaston—was it before my period, after? I've totally blanked on what the doc actually said.
Since my husband is away for work right now (he's a merchant marine), I decided to just kick off the Clomiphene this cycle. But I'm feeling pretty conflicted because I haven't been taking the Duphaston, mostly because I have no clue if I was even meant to. For those who've been there, when did you start the Duphaston, or did you even bother with it at all?
What's your "why"? in Psychology ·
First off, you’re here for a reason. You were chosen to handle a specific mission—maybe it’s clearing out some old karmic debts from a past life, or maybe your soul just needs the mileage. Either way, this life is a stepping stone to the next level, a cleaner slate, provided you don't go making a mess of things right now.

Second, think about the math: if you take your own life, your soul and your physical self basically have to hit the reset button. You’re back at square one, forced to run the exact same gauntlet all over again. It’s a bad deal. Why restart when you’ve already put in the work and reached the halfway point? 😉

That’s my theory, plain and simple. We’re here to fight the good fight and build something better.

I’ve never actually had issues with intimacy before. I was with my last partner for four years, and now I've been with my current guy for about a year. At the start, we were both diagnosed with ureaplasma, and we've both gone through two rounds of treatment already (just waiting on some follow-up test results now). One thing we've both noticed—and I'm wondering if this is even possible—is this sensation like things have just... opened up down there? Like, I don't feel much sensation anymore, and he feels the same way. Also, I've noticed I'm constantly wet, but not in the usual way—it's more like a slimy feeling. To top it off, during sex, it feels like air is actually getting pushed inside, which has never happened to me in my life. So, I'm asking you guys—could this be a side effect of the inflammation or what? 🤷

Natural lubrication plays a huge role in how tight or loose things feel. More moisture usually means less friction or "resistance." You've probably felt it before—after a long session, it might feel tighter simply because there's less lube, making there be more resistance. In any case, you absolutely have to clear that ureaplasma. Both you and your partner need to finish the full course of antibiotics. If only one person treats it, you'll just keep passing it back and forth like a game of ping-pong. And don't brush it off; ureaplasma isn't nothing. It can potentially lead to blocked fallopian tubes if left alone.

Maybe head back to elementary school and brush up on some basic grammar. ☕ Once you actually learn how to write, you might finally grasp concepts like hypothetical scenarios and what legally constitutes a threat under the US Penal Code.

Picture this: you, Johnny Štulić, and a hamster stranded on a deserted island. Survival requires a sacrifice. Do you kill Štulić and share him with the hamster, kill the hamster and share it with Štulić, or just die of hunger?

Looks like my last post got nuked—probably too graphic for the mods. Anyway, I'm choosing you to share with the hamster.☕

Human life is sacred. Human life holds more value than any animal. The life of a single serial killer outweighs the lives of every dog currently existing on this planet.

There are no moral dilemmas here. Animals are primitive tools and resources utilized by humans to satisfy their own needs—including the needs of lonely individuals seeking emotional companionship. To even attempt to draw a pseudo-nationalist parallel between the hierarchy of human value and our relationship with animals is nothing short of perverse.

How does anyone even find it possible to say something like 😲😲😲

Now I see why I've always preferred animals over people. ☕

Why don't you just slice up the cake and eat it like the rest of the civilized world? 🤷

Look, if I say I don't want it, I don't want it. Let’s all just sit down, have a slice, and act like a decent, cultured society. Nobody can force you to "wolf down" a cake if you're just not feeling it. ☕

Honestly, I feel like I’ve already earned a PhD in backward dodging whenever someone reaches out toward me. So far, it’s only worked against one person—someone I least expected it from... and even then, things got pretty heated quite quickly.

I just don't get it. Seriously, 🤷 why do people feel this desperate need to touch a pregnant woman's stomach? 😕 For me, that belly belongs to my husband and absolutely nobody else. 😠

The idea of touching a pregnant woman's belly never even crosses my mind. It feels way too intimate. Honestly, it’s kind of gross—like reaching out and grabbing someone's private parts without asking.🙄

I’ve got PCOS and my periods are brutal. Not quite as bad as what you described, but I had no clue there was even a link between the two.
I can't sleep! Help! in Health ·
Susan Myers41 said:Hey, I need some help here—I'm struggling to sleep. Too many nights where I'm just lying there staring at the ceiling for an hour and a half. Is this something triggered by life's stressors, or is it just one of those things you can't control? I’ve been feeling pretty off lately—anxious and a bit on edge—so I'm wondering if that's messing with my sleep.
Does anyone have any insight?😢

My advice? Go get your thyroid levels checked. Hormonal imbalances like that can absolutely wreck your sleep schedule.
That feeling of falling in your sleep? in Psychology ·
Thomas Ward2 said:Ever get that weird sensation in a dream where you’re just... falling? Like the ground suddenly disappears from under you? And then—BAM—your whole body jerks so hard you snap wide awake. Did you actually feel like you were falling while it was happening?

If anyone knows what's actually going on with this phenomenon, I'd love an explanation!

Thanks

Technically, that's called SLEEP PARALYSIS.
When we're in REM sleep, our bodies are naturally paralyzed—muscles relax and certain spinal connections cut off. It's a totally normal part of the sleep cycle. The glitch happens when things get messy during that phase and you wake up before the paralysis wears off. You're conscious, but stuck. It isn't dangerous, just incredibly unsettling. Usually handled pretty well with certain medications.
