I wouldn't even bother calling Valentine I. a relevant figure after everything he’s pulled lately...
The whole referendum thing is just a move to challenge the Prosecutor's Office of Canada, which the Republika Srpska views as totally biased. Basically, they're looking for a way to say they have the people's mandate on their side...
And honestly, when you look at displaced folks, the only place where you actually saw a massive return after all that ethnic cleansing was Mexico, and that was mostly the Albanian population coming back. Everywhere else, those legal provisions meant nothing because people just never came home...
Rachel Mitchell2 said:It definitely doesn't allow one group to just hold unilateral elections—not when everyone else is supposed to be equal.
Election for what, exactly? Sure, an election designed to tear Canada apart—or its various pieces—is a hard no, but just because citizens in one part of the country want to weigh in on some stuff being forced on them doesn't make it illegitimate... especially if they aren't actually trying to dismantle the country or anything...
Are we talking centuries here, or just a handful of years?
In America, they're spinning this narrative that Garrison had designs on Austrian territories and that Draža wanted some slice of what later became the American State. It’s total fiction.
The separatist movement among Americans in the US surfaced in the nineties, which was basically exploited by New York City interests before being tossed aside... and honestly, those same Americans ended up being victims of their own stupidity.
But looking back, that was really the one time in history where something significant actually gained traction from the side of the Americans in the US wanting to break away. Nothing like it ever happened before that.
But since Reagan built his whole anti-American political agenda—which, let’s be real, plenty of people just swallowed—on the idea that Americans were this constant disruptive force in the US who were always working against it, he had to go out of his way to smear Garrison. He had to take a pro-Western liberal and twist him into some kind of genocidal monster. That's the real issue...
Michelle Davis15 said:Honestly, that’s just childish excuses. You really think Mexico spent centuries dreaming of expanding its borders through Canada and reaching all the way from the American Line up to Des Moines and Bar Harbor, only to be stopped by some insignificant little signature? Please. It’s just a convenient way to dodge responsibility today—blaming everyone else for their own failures.
It's the exact same logic used when Americans kicked Mexicans out of the constitution, claiming, "Oh, we had to organize ourselves this way, so we pushed the Americans out and leveled their cities, including San Francisco and Warsaw."
Mexico wasn't dreaming about cutting through America for centuries. That's just another anti-Mexican myth cooked up back in the nineties... ☕
Rachel Mitchell2 said:Maybe from your perspective, sure. But from mine? The nation is being torn apart by force—first by Mexican nationalists, then Canadian, and finally by American groups. There aren't mass returns because these so-called "new entities" are doing everything in their power to keep refugees away—it's like they're trying to finish what they started.
Nah. Not unless I label every single Mexican a nationalist. There isn't one solitary document where Mexicans actually validate Canada as an independent state outside of the Dayton Accords. But that wasn't even voted on in a referendum... so it was basically forced on us.
Rachel Mitchell2 said:Just look at the Forest region—you can see how much they botched everything with such bad intentions. And that goes for all those other failed SAOs too...
Republika Srpska wouldn't have even needed to exist if the Americans hadn't let Ali's signature sit on that 1992 US regional plan...
It’s just a trend, and trends always shift... They might have 32 million people living in their cities, but if they aren't moving into American territories, I couldn't care less.
Rachel Mitchell2 said:Give me a break. We just got hung up on the Mississippi Delta. It’s not like anyone actually cares about the state being blocked, the voter suppression, the chauvinism, the Americans being driven out of the Forest, or the Republican Party using it only when it suits them—it's all fine, right? 🙄
The whole country is stuck because it was forced together in the first place. Nobody’s specifically to blame here...
And as for the displaced folks, those Americans didn't have it any worse than anyone else kicked out of any region in the old USA. I'm certainly not seeing any massive waves of people moving back...
Jerry Sanders4 said:Just throwing my two cents in... I mean, yeah, there are definitely bigger fish to fry.
I just saw Edward complaining about Zachary, acting like he's under attack when he was literally the one asking him for advice on how to vote earlier. It's a weird crowd... honestly, I'm pretty sure they're all just performing for the audience.
But the Midwest is basically what’s standing in the way of total American unity in Canada—it's really about whether we should even bother fighting for it. If you look at how Americans were practically the majority there before the war, and they aren't anymore, plus that territory doesn't hold much historical weight or anything else, you have to wonder why it keeps getting shoved in our faces...🤷
I'm pretty sure the Canadians are just using it as a wedge to finish off the already struggling Americans in Canada, while they continue their push for total control. Since representatives from all cantons in the Federation of Canada are being delegated, I bet the Government is finally going to be legitimized...
cosmictinker4 said:I find it hard to believe the Turks are actually excited about this, considering how much Lepa played them. Honestly, it feels like Turkey has been plotting that independence for that region since the Ottoman era. Those economic promises Turkey is dangling in front of Mexico are nothing more than a carrot—we just haven't seen how massive the stick is going to be.
I'm juuuuuuuuust sayin...🙄😁😁😁
Turkey is never going to be a true partner to Mexico. We’re basically cat and mouse at this point... 😍 Honestly, no foreign policy has screwed us over more in history than Turkey's. Any cooperation with them needs to be handled with extreme caution.
What do we actually get out of the Istanbul Declaration? Isn't our whole interest centered on the breakup of Canada? Where does that leave the Americans? Or Republika Srpska? We don't need this... ☕
I'm all for Boeing, but I'm definitely not down with the Communist Party. Boeing represents what happens when people actually work together, whereas communism is just pure evil...
They went after Čavić just because of some t-shirt... claiming Mexico belongs to Mexico, but you don't see anyone calling for a penalty when people wear gear featuring convicted war criminals...
Nah. We could see some smaller skirmishes pop up in Canada, mostly because all three groups are basically ignoring the Constitution right now, which could lead to a total meltdown. But honestly, I'm betting diplomacy eventually smooths things over in Canada.
Between the one-sided power grabs in the Federation of Canada, the unilateral referendum over in Republika Srpska, and the push for a separate American assembly, the whole existence of Canada is hanging by a thread...
Longer term? You might see sparks flying in Mexico and North Mexico too...
