I'm looking into getting into farming. Obviously, that’s super vague, and I get that with any job, you gotta figure out exactly what you're doing before you jump in. Basically, right now I don't own any land and I haven't even decided what to grow—all I know is I'm interested in plants, not livestock. 😁
I need some book recommendations that can act as a solid intro and point me in the right direction. Just a heads up, my knowledge level is absolute zero. I need stuff that’ll walk me through it step-by-step.
Thanks, and may your corn crops be twice as big as everyone else's. 😁
I've lumped together a few topics about getting started, like picking crops, finding a location, and other initial tips.

People love to call that a coincidence, but years later, another aunt—not even related—did the exact same thing during someone else's period, and she died too. I've heard the old wives' tales about how you shouldn't wash your hair then, but I always wash mine on day one, and I'm fine. Honestly, I think it just depends on the person's body.
Alex Ruiz7 said:My mom told me the same thing. I try my best to avoid showering for the first two days, but by day three, I’m washing my hair like usual and nothing happens. Then again, I have a friend who actually ended up in the ER because she had a stroke right after doing that...🤷
They’ve got Stephanie Says, Lisa Says, sweet Jane... you name it. It’s basically a whole list of stuff that sticks in your head.
I'm sticking with Velvet 😍 😍 😍
Anyway, whatever, it's not the main point... 😳
It is the point. Velvet has some damn lyric about someone saying something in every single bloody song they drop. Like, "Jane says," "Jeannie said," "Mama said"... ugh. 😠 😁
What are you even talking about, shadowgardener12? Summer music? Summer music is koka Džambo. You listen to Jane's Addiction when you're wasted in the fall. It's bad vibes. And your throat hurts. 😁

Started by splitting the cash between three different funds, then got impatient and dumped everything into one equity fund. Been at it for about six months now. Right now, I’m up roughly 6.5% on paper, or 4.5% if I cashed out today since they hit you with an exit fee. But honestly, things are rough right now—most funds are dipping. So, yeah, there's risk because a fund can tank, but so far, none of the big ones in the States have actually gone belly up. They all eventually bounce back after a bad stretch and end up in the green. Plus, if you don't have the cash to spare, you just don't invest. You aren't losing anything by sitting on the sidelines. And you can pull your money whenever you feel like it; it usually takes a couple of days to hit your account, though legally they've got a week.
Look, I'm pretty deep into these investment funds, but I wouldn't tell anyone to jump in unless they're ready to actually study the ropes and check their accounts at least once a week.
Look, try a CD. Or just spend a year saving up to see what you can actually afford to put away once a month. Keep that extra cushion on the side to cover your payments if things get hairy—just make sure you don't touch it for anything else.
Just gonna say it again: this is the discovery of the year. Pure, unadulterated drinking music. You can blast this solo and feel like you're at some wild house party that’s already gone off the rails—the kind where everyone's wasted, your mouth tastes like a cheap hotel carpet in downtown Chicago at 4 AM, and people are just passed out in corners getting stepped on. Seriously, props. 🙏 🙏 🙏
Hell yeah. 👍 Just listening to Thomas Diaz6 right now and had to jump on here immediately because this stuff is INSANE. I am 150% going to the show. 🙏 🙏 🙏
After years of thinking I’d never see those washed-up junkies hit the stage again, the dream actually happened. Even with the relentless rain pouring down on Vienna, I’m calling yesterday one of the best days I've had in years. That Nirvana cover band crawled onto the stage around 9:30 and just tore through basically the whole Steve Albini, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Nevermind sets without stopping. Starting with "Smells Like Teen Spirit," they just bled sweat while nailing one iconic track after another. The energy probably peaked during "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and you gotta give it up for how they closed the main set with "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (my personal favorite). During the first encore, things reached a fever pitch during that guitar "solo"—and look, sorry Joey Ramone, but holding a guitar up to feedback isn't really a solo, even Metallica would probably cringe at that crap—on "Smells Like Teen Spirit." For the second encore, they played two tracks from Nevermind, which was definitely the low point of the night, but at least it was easy enough to stop hoping for more. Besides, they're getting older and clearly started flagging toward the end..
Bottom line: if you didn't show up and you don't have a damn good excuse, you can go ahead and set yourself on fire right now.😎

Thoughts?
Pfft. Players. Honestly, I only go for women who challenge me. I want someone smart, funny, and high-quality—someone who actually recognizes what I bring to the table. 🙂
It's Stone Roses for me. Their debut was incredible—they nailed a sound you just can't replicate. They managed to bake killer pop melodies right into that vibe, all while oozing that unbearable level of cool. 👍

It isn't some primal instinct for bad boys. It's a challenge. I'm just that good—I can take a total rebel and turn him into a complete pushover and a sweetheart. Except in bed, obviously. 🙂
I’m leaning more towards Amp Fiddler. W.A.S.P. had a killer rhythm section, but they’re missing a frontman who can actually pivot from soulful vibes to those funky acrobatics. Their singer feels stuck somewhere mediocre in the middle. Respect to the bassist, though—he knows how to lock in a groove and gives the tracks that danceable edge. Overall, solid funk, but they aren't hitting my top tier.
