James Newman5 said:France and Germany will likely never be able to match Turkey militarily again; they've become little more than small satellites that the USA bleeds dry every single day.

I wouldn't go betting on that.
Lower cost of living or a higher salary? in Close to Politics ·
Come on, get a move on already. Our standards are already through the roof, yet we aren’t actually producing anything! What are we waiting for—2030???

Did anyone else catch Jack talking to that elderly woman the other night? You know, the one complaining about losing everything she worked for? I couldn't help but notice his reaction. Does the man actually have a heart, or is he just putting on an elaborate performance for the cameras? To me, it didn't look like he cared at all. In fact, if I'm being honest, it almost seemed like he was annoyed by her plight—though maybe I'm just misreading the situation. Is it possible that behind that polished public persona, he's actually feeling anything but empathy?

They hit us with bad news 24/7, bombarding us from every angle until you eventually just become numb to it all.
You can't talk sense to sheep! Consumerism has made them way too soft on these issues. They’ve become completely sterile. The Hollywood world has cast its spell on them, and now a cheap can of beer has replaced the search for the Holy Grail. Money, money, money—it's become the only icon they worship, the only thing they actually believe in. Every year, they flock to those massive shopping malls like mindless cattle, rushing to pay homage to some corporate mascot in red, sipping on sodas while they celebrate at high-speed checkout counters. Just twenty years ago, people actually looked up to the Lord; they respected Him and honored Him. Now? He isn't "cool" enough anymore. In his place, we have Atheism. On the stage stands the holy Hollywood, represented by some buffed-up guy with an angelic face who looks perfect and polished. Ladies and gentlemen, just sit back in your armchairs with some Lay's chips and a cold beer, and watch with pride as the true warriors go out to fight the darkness in your stead.

If you’re looking for a little spark of motivation, just go watch that one scene from Fight Club with the guy from China.

Maintaining American control over Middle Eastern oil is, by definition, a way to weaken American hegemony against increasingly competitive nations.

We aren't primitive by nature; we've just been crushed by oppressors for centuries, which has left us stuck with this inferiority complex.

Anthony Gonzalez25 said:I'm not down with splitting the Lakota away from the USA. That would be totally one-sided and illegal.

An illegal move?
Native American Reservation in World ·
"We represent the Native American sovereignty movement within the Sioux Indian reservations spanning Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana—people who have endured systemic cultural and physical genocide under the oppressive colonial apartheid system we've been forced to endure."

Will they finally secure what has always been rightfully theirs? And why is the United Nations staying silent on this?

We stand with them!

HELP!!! I'm spiraling. in Psychology ·
Give your mind something real to chew on. You need a hobby, but let’s be clear: don't settle for some sedentary, indoor distraction. If you want to actually break this obsessive loop, you need to get out of your own head by getting out of the house. The weather is finally turning, so take advantage of it. Join a hiking group, pick up cycling, or just commit to walking. Just stay outside as much as humanly possible. Approach this with a bit of a military mindset—tell yourself, "I am doing this, period," and refuse to back down. Go out on your own to a local park or a safe trail during the day; walk calmly and just talk to yourself if you have to. It helps. Figure out what actually matters to you, then write those priorities down on a "must-do" list for every single week. Track your wins. There will be setbacks, sure, but in the end, you're the one who walks away winning because everything hinges on your own resolve. You’ve already fought battles before, which proves you can do it. Just keep moving.
