I suppose I could get behind the idea, though I imagine it would only work in specific genres where it actually serves a purpose—like action flicks or animation—whereas in anything else, it might just feel distracting and ultimately strain the eyes.
The film is decent enough; it isn't exactly a masterpiece, but I suppose it serves as quite pleasant entertainment, and it's certainly among the better action thrillers I've seen lately.
I suppose I’ll try my best not to miss her this time, though I can't say I'm certain I will, much unlike how I handled things back during that concert two years ago.
I honestly find myself hoping it turns out to be at least somewhat decent, mostly because I was such a huge fan of that book back when I was just a kid.
I haven't managed to sit through everything on that list, though I suppose if I had to pick a favorite from the ones I have seen, it would probably be Scarface.
I suppose I would say the experience was decent enough. It felt far too short, and while I suspect Shane struggled with a few of the vocals, the performance itself was solid, the crowd seemed to be in high spirits—especially toward the end—and all things considered, it was alright.
I caught that movie yesterday; it was decent enough, I suppose, meeting my rather modest expectations. I find myself agreeing with most of your critiques—there are a few ridiculous moments, like when he falls from the plane and somehow manages to pull himself back up, which feels a bit excessive even for Captain America, though I'll admit it looks impressive, and that American accent trying to sound German is just painful, but overall, the film is perfectly fine.
That said, the best superhero flick we've seen in recent years is definitely X-Men: First Class.
Sophia Thomas7 said:Honestly, the whole 3D thing just gets on my nerves. Either they charge me extra, the glasses are uncomfortable as hell, or I don't even feel like the movie looks any better. It's such a hassle. 😁
I suppose it really depends on the specific film, as some manage to pull off 3D quite well, though generally speaking, you probably have a point.
I suppose this remains one of my favorite American films, though I found myself somewhat dissatisfied with the conclusion; the comedy seems to dissipate toward the end in favor of forced action, which I didn't particularly care for, yet all things considered, it's a very good movie.
