I heard rumors that ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN (USA) DOLLHOUSE (Sweden) IRON HEAD (USA) are playing at Kset on April 25th. Does anyone have actual confirmation on that? Also, does anyone know when Liars are scheduled to play?
Honestly, even I, Bluela, didn't believe my eyes when I saw that "sour cabbage day" sign.🙄
Oh, it just occurred to me I actually have this compilation I put together called: Love Regrets It’s got all sorts of things in there My absolute favorite: from the movie Tulum : Dreams are my reality
Well, dear, if you're feeling this depressed, I’d suggest swapping out your record collection to lighten the mood... And please, for heaven's sake, don't listen to Creep
Oh, that’s right—back in fourth grade, our entire class, boys included, came up with this whole choreographed routine to Madonna's Like a Prayer. Man, just thinking about it now... 😁
I found myself thinking about David Hasselhoff (if that’s even how you spell it) and I've Been Looking for Freedom... He was never exactly my idol, though he did have a pretty cool car in Knight Rider.
At the end of the day, what matters is that you can finally buy something, kick back, listen to your music, and get lost in a book. It doesn't matter if the writing was absolute garbage or how much people hated it. It’s like asking if bad sex is better than no sex at all. Beš nomad — though honestly, right now, I'd be much happier just seeing a single number.
It was quite alright for me... though I feel compelled to point out that Kevin Chavez3 essentially hijacked some of the credit that belonged to The Stooges. 🙂
I’ve been feeling too lazy to actually sit down and listen to their last three or four albums 🙄 and honestly, I just can't bring myself to do it🙄 It was the same way back when I saw Metallica live—man, that show was incredible so there's no way they aren't still good😁
I know this is a total tangent, but I picked up another issue of Beat last month—I told myself I was done with it because it just wasn't really my thing, but here I am, buying it again this month. It still doesn't quite hit the mark for me, but there’s something strangely satisfying about holding a physical music magazine in my hands, especially one where you actually see American writers and local voices represented, rather than just being fed whatever some algorithm decides I should read. Even with Nomad, which I never particularly cared for, I found myself buying it anyway; even with Beat in my hands, it feels like there's still a void left unfilled.
Susan Booth42 has a handful of solid, tried-and-true tracks that always get the crowd moving; I'm talking about Song 2 and Baby Burn, though there are plenty of other club anthems out there by artists you might not recognize yet. 👍
