All-day school schedules in Students & Teens ·
What’s the deal with music and dance schools when you're stuck in a full-day school schedule? Did anyone actually give that any thought? Does anyone here know how they manage to make that work in Canada?

Matthew Booth4 said:Seriously, how much of an uphill battle is it to implement push notifications for incoming payments? I honestly can’t wrap my head around why this hasn't been a thing yet. It feels like such a massive oversight in today's tech landscape.

I actually made that exact same suggestion in the Google Play Store comments about five years ago. Haha.

They finally rolled out that dual pricing feature—I actually got the notification—but even after I went in and updated my settings, it’s still just showing me USD.

So, I ended up with 10 received messages and about 180 sent ones.

@Casey Bennett

I managed to get those 10 exported to a .txt file without any drama.

But those 180—though if I’m being honest, I couldn't even select half of them—just wouldn't cooperate. Instead of giving me an actual .txt file, the system just spits out a blank .html file.

And to top it all off, that "handy" little option at the bottom to "save ALL private messages as..." isn't working at all. Just completely broken.😢

Is anyone else running into issues with exporting data or bulk-deleting private messages?

That option at the bottom to download everything—all incoming and outgoing messages bundled together via CSV, TXT, or XML—keeps throwing a Connection Error.

And when I try to export just specific messages (regardless of whether I pick CSV, TXT, or XML), it just spits out a completely empty HTML file.

To make matters worse, even selecting multiple messages to clear them out doesn't work; it just returns an Invalid Private Message Specified error.

At this rate, I’m forced to delete them one by one, and I’ve got about 300 to get through.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cruella de Vil (2021) in Movies ·
I was watching something yesterday—just sitting there, letting the hours slip by.

When it comes to the typical Disney formula—there are definitely those moments of pure naivety that feel completely disconnected from reality, not to mention some instances of cheap, low-brow humor—but you have to give credit where it's due. The core story, the underlying concept, the acting, and the overall engagement level? That’s top-tier stuff. All things considered, I walked away feeling pretty satisfied; Emma Stone was absolutely fantastic in this. Still, if I’m being honest, I think Mulan holds up better. 7.5/10.

Eleven of the Atlantic's.Look, you really need to bake in a decent dose of humor—not too much, not too little—but then you throw in some heavy family drama and just a touch of pure, unadulterated madness. It’s all about that balance. The Joker. Truly an exhausting subject to revisit, isn't it? Everyone seems to have a different theory, a different obsession, yet we always end up circling the same drain. It’s that relentless cycle of chaos that keeps people coming back—that specific, unsettling magnetism that makes you want to look away even while you're staring right at him. Just when you think you've parsed out the psychology, the narrative shifts again. It's wearying, really. If you take all those elements and drop them right into 1970s New York City—that’s essentially what this movie is. Look, *Cruella* is a total mess, but it’s a fun kind of mess. I found myself tripping over a few of the legal technicalities—it didn't quite hold up under scrutiny for me—so it isn't exactly a perfect masterpiece, but on a scale of one to five, I’m giving it a solid four. Honestly, I'm already considering seeing it again; I haven't revisited it in four years. 🍿

This is an incredibly accurate review.

I’m not about to pass judgment until I’ve actually seen it myself—but honestly, I have a soft spot for both Emmas.

Watched it yesterday with a friend! 🎉

@sebastianpgptvk first off, thanks for the recommendation—man, what an absolute masterpiece 🙏

didn't feel any tears or even a lump in my throat

For me, it did—I actually had to restrain myself a bit; I’ll have to watch it again just so I can properly have a good cry 🤣 but there were so many moments that really hit home, even at the very start when he didn't want to head toward The Great Beyond, which—honestly—I don't think they even intended to be an "emotional" scene 😁 So many little details just resonated with me.

The movie pulled me in 100%—not just because it's about a pianist like myself, but because of how it tackles the whole meaning of life and the weight of destiny... finding joy in the small things and the "ordinary life." It reminded me of the ending of the movie "About Time," if anyone here has seen it.

In short, all the psychological beats are perfectly executed. For instance, when the 22-year-old is near the end of the film, looking completely despondent and hopeless, he says things that sound exactly like my buddy; it made everything feel even more poignant. I'd go as far as saying the entire film is one massive psychological study of man and existence.

And of course, it's that perfect blend of humor and heartbreak we've come to expect. Very similar to Disney / Pixar's Inside Out—incredibly creative, thoughtful... just top-tier.

James Stewart9 said:I really don't know how kids can do this🤷 there's enough humor and the animation is so brilliant that it keeps them engaged, but generally speaking, the film is definitely for adults. I witnessed a fascinating situation while watching where a young mother and her son were sitting near me; right around the climax, the kid started insisting he needed to use the restroom (he was clearly bored), but the mom just ignored him for maybe ten minutes because she couldn't tear herself away from the screen—at least until his begging turned into a full-on meltdown and they had to leave.

That's an interesting observation, though I think it depends heavily on the child's age. They always try to craft films that work on two levels, and a kid certainly won't grasp the depth of a story like this, but it's so dynamic and fast-paced that I believe children soak it up just as much as adults do. 🍿 I felt the same way about Inside Out—it turns out my friend's little sister watched it so many times that she knew the whole thing by heart and seemed to enjoy it even more than I did.😁

For me, this is a 10/10, and honestly, I haven't been able to give a film that kind of rating in quite some time. 🙂

It makes me want to stop watching live-action movies altogether and make up for all the Disney / Pixar films I've skipped over. 🍿

That’s exactly it—it’s all about the $1.75. If that holds up, then I don't have to lose any sleep over it, haha

But I don't have one of those standard youth plans—I'm still stuck on that old student union tariff

So, I finally landed a job, but since nobody seemed to care or react, I figured I’d ask here instead.
Chase Bank in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Yeah, from what I can gather, it’s strictly through the student portal

Also—and this is a bit of a headache—I still have my student discount active, even though I haven't been enrolled for a few years now. Does anyone know when that actually expires, or am I just going to be able to keep riding that wave indefinitely?

Here’s a ranking of 10 Disney remakes—and let me tell you, they absolutely tore into The Lion King.

The first teaser for Mulan just dropped.

Honestly, that Lion King trailer is absolutely killing it—millions of views already. It hits theaters on July 17th, and if I had to guess, it’s going to be a massive hit.
Haha, and here I was thinking people actually came here to have a serious discussion. 🤣 😵
Hey everyone—a friend of mine didn't want to deal with the hassle of setting up a whole new profile just for this, so he asked me to post on his behalf. Here’s the situation:

He’s noticing this circular—well, more like an oval bruise-like mark just below his navel. It’s sort of bluish, almost like a small fatty deposit. It seems to flare up specifically during periods of high anxiety or intense stress—he’s always dealt with a fair amount of psychosomatic issues, anyway. Along with the mark, he gets bloated and feels this subtle, barely perceptible pressure or discomfort in his lower abdomen. He’s also becoming quite gassy, and the odor is... honestly, it's pretty unpleasant and unnatural—sort of like, I don't even know... burnt rubber? Overall, there's this general sense of malaise throughout his body; nausea hits his stomach, he loses his appetite whenever the mark appears, and he feels dizzy and just "off" all day. Usually, though, the mark vanishes after about 7 or 8 hours. Occasionally, he’ll run a slight fever, maybe up to 99°F. His lymph nodes in his neck and groin also get quite swollen during these episodes.

He spent a year and a half bouncing between doctors, and frankly, nobody could give him a straight answer.
All his tests—blood work, stool samples, the usual—came back completely normal. They wouldn't even bother referring him for anything more invasive, like a colonoscopy, because 1) they figured nothing would show up since they suspected a blood clotting issue (though they couldn't confirm it), and 2) they basically brushed him off because he's just a 20-year-old guy—they assumed he was just stressing out over his college exams.

This used to happen frequently—at least once a month throughout 2016 and 2017—and then it stopped. Then maybe once in 2018, and now, here we are again today.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Has anyone dealt with something similar?
